I use two staffs. One is much more ceremonial with an antler atop and made of a single oak branch.the other is a pine walking stick I use for more everyday use
I am soooo excited!!! At least a year ago I have found a beautiful peace while hiking... don't know what it is but because it has called me it will have a use in the rituals!!! :) :)
That was a really insightful and interesting video, thank you for making this! I’ve just attempted my first ever themed staff, (I wouldn’t say it’s exactly ‘Druid’ but it was inspired by that style). I’d be honoured to see your thoughts if you would take the time to watch the video. Thank you and have a great day!!
I thought the sound was perfectly fine. Thank you for sharing your knowledge ✨💓 I love my staff so very very much, I wish I could take it everywhere with me
I wonder, is there any good artisan that makes personalized staffs? The idea of a staff that doubles as a walking stick is pure genious. I wouldn't be able to separate from it honestly. Btw. I'm fairly new to modern druidism and finding your channel, your tips- everything, thank you. Thank you for sharing your jurney. Lots of love, dear.
My staff was a gift to me, although I have found another lovely walking stick that doubles as a Druid "staff" at an antiques emporium, for less than £20. It's all carved with strange animals! I'd recommend looking at antique shops, flea markets, that sort of thing if you're not into making one yourself. :)
Can you please explain further the practices you mention at 6:18..."cast the circle...invoke the dieities...honor the three world, and directing energy"? Am new to druidry and having a hard time finding reliable, authentic information but your video is one of the best I've seen so far :)
Hello Robert - please see my "Casting the Magic Circle" video for more information. To find out more about the other subjects, I recommend my work "The Book of Hedge Druidry: A Complete Guide for the Solitary Seeker" :)
I found this to be very informative I have followed the pagan path for many years now and have recently been ushered on the path of duridism and as the durids didn't put anything in writing it is very hard to differentiate fact from fiction, what would you recommend for someone who is new to duridism ?

@@joanna_vanderhoeven Please excuse my ignorance I did not know you were a author . Thank you so much this has helped me alot and I will be sure to check your books out and continue to watch your channel . Stay safe during these uncertain times
@@joanna_vanderhoeven New to contemplating the thought of ‘druidry’ and just tonight found your videos whilst browsing and love them. When reading your offering of a book list above...... realised I’m literally reading your ‘Awen Alone’ book at the moment!!!! I love guided coincidence!
I told you to take the staff ! Ups...too late now. The truth is that I am fascinated with staffs. As a kid I used to wonder the pine forests and hills near Barcelona, carrying a stick, o "palo". Could not be called a real staff, but acted as one. Now...I need one to help me walk specially when I go out with my Jenny, because she gets into difficult terrain. I like to make them and sale them...but they would have to be blessed by a real Druid...may be you. Still, I have to decide if I can do that. Learn how to get the right wood, etc.
I do apologise. When this was filmed a few years ago, I still had an old camera with not a very good microphone. I've since updated the camera, but would like to have a separate mic one day, when I can afford it. :)

You can make and bless your own staff, and all your own tools. It's within your power, not mine :)
My staff is from a viking grave forest
The sound is very poor quality. It makes it very hard to understand you.
