Thank you for sharing and for how you shared. It’s very hard to find media on this topic that clearly explains there is no right or wrong way to believe or practice. The very nature of magic relies heavily upon the understanding and deep connection of the practitioner to their beliefs. This is not the type of thing that you can follow an instruction manual and expect consistent results every time with every individual. It’s discouraging to sift through all the “Book of Spells” “How to …” “witchcraft for dummies” that provide step by step instructions with no explanation of how ingredients are chosen or the theory behind ritual. It’s misleading to seekers often deterring them from their path while ultimately robbing them of a spiritually fulfilling experience. It’s important that we share our own methods but not proclaiming them to be the only way. It should be as you said it, meant to inspire rather than instruct.

I have been told i should not practice norse Magick.
I remember when i first reached out to freya with her song and a offering of meed and my experience of the meed as i often offer with spirits.
I asked freya for the experience of seidr.
After that i kept seeing hawks every where and i whent.
Then i started having visions and promissions while driving(I stopped my practice be cause this became dangerous for me.)
One night i had a friend do a reading with runes for me and i instantly had a vision od the three runes they drew in order (ineas floored)
    Another time was a dream
I was searthing for a norse hammer .
I reached into a stone table like it was clay and pulled out a stone hammer that was covered in a unique bind rune .
A month later a norse practitioner on TH-cam posted the exact bind rune.
I also have a very intuitive understanding of runes it feels like part of myself goes into them when i read them.
I have not done anything else sense then

Thank you for the video, I really enjoyed it! Your staff is really something. And such an interesting choice of book recommendations, I'll definitely read Ingerman and Black Elk.
I think I haven't had any true trance experiences, but once I was trying to go into trance by the means of a shamanic drum. So I was banging the drum with a drum stick and for a moment I felt that it was not a stick in my hands anymore, but a leg of a horse that can bend...That felt so real and scary that I stopped all this activity at once. I guess my fear is the main obstacle to going into the trance for me, it's just so very hard to trust and let go.

Wow, thank you for sharing your trance experience with me, Marina. That sounds really intense, and I can understand that you felt scared. What you said about fear being a main obstacle resonates with me a lot. I'm sure that if you want, you can find the trust you need to let go in yourself.
Also, thank you for your nice words about the video, I really appreciate it! :)

Hello on TH-cam! I thought it would be more appropriate for me to comment publicly instead of over your patreon since this is a more public video.
For myself, I've had experience with various types of witchcraft and divination for many years, but I've only been formally studying Seidr for a little over a year. I originally made a promise to Freyja back in 2019 that I would make studying Seidr a priority for Her and our relationship in the future, but She knew She would have to be a bit patient given my situation at the time. 😅 It has been a very wonderful journey, though! And I am looking very much forward to continuing my work and progress. I have added many of your suggestions to various lists of mine to check out when the timing is right.
I do also actually have an English languae Seidr book suggestion for you: Elves, Witches, & Gods by Cat Heath. Cat is *wonderful* people and her book has been a very important reading and reference material for me in my studies with Seidr and other Germanic/Heathen magic. The book itself is a good blend of history, stories, gnosis, ritual, and reference. It's a Llewellyn print from the US, so if you're interested but having troubles sourcing one, let me know and I'd be happy to help out!

I’m new to all of what you’re sharing and actually was just listening to Annette host in her eight part series today and I think I’m on the third video now.
When you mentioned her, and how much you love her teachings, I could definitely resonate and say the same to for myself. I just love listening to her teach on Norse shamanism, and. SEIDR. 😊❤
Thank you so much for also sharing your resources with the books you shared. I actually own one of them and I forgot that I got it a couple years ago in my Kindle. I just checked and it’s still there so it’s the soul retrieval by Sandra Ingerman. I definitely want to read that ASAP!
By the way, your staff is absolutely beautiful.🧙🏼🖤
Thanks again for sharing your own personal experiences with Shamanism & SEIDR. 😊

It was considered Taboo. The word is ergi. There's a few reasons why this might be the case. One is thay Seidr may have involved possession, which is a spirit penetrating you. Another may have been drug use involved which causes you to not be in control of yourself. Being in control of yourself was extremely important for men.
