@@AlanaMisakoGames the FFVII Remake PC port is a disaster. In the Sector 7 Slums and similarly high density areas, there's significant framerate drops for some people, with no improvement at all for lowering the resolution in many cases, and in my case the framerate actually gets WORSE when dropping it to 720p, and none of the many, many "proven fixes" I've found made any difference. There's no rhyme or reason for it, as the strength of the PC's specs have definitively been ruled out as the factor for these problems.

This game is amazing! I’ve never played the original game, so I was like you….I had no idea what to expect. But I was completely blown away! I’ve played this game more in 2 years than I’ve played any other game in the last 20 years. The music, characters, setting, music, and combat were so amazing and fun! I can’t wait until the sequel. Aerith was by far my favorite part of the game.

Something not well known by even avid ff7 players, in the Japanese only Before Crisis, avalanche made two attempts to kill President Shinra. The most recent caused rocket number 26 to fail and ended the space program earlier in the year. (You'll see that place in "rebirth")
Do you know that every single person that worked as Sephiroth's voice actor in the English versions became Superman in some form? FF7 can't stop casting Supermen as Sephiroth. haha
There's actually a lot of similarities between the 2. Superman is always holding back for the safety of those around him while Sephiroth never uses his full strength because he doesn't feel the need to. Everytime he is beaten, he lets a little more of his strength show. Even at the end of this game, we still haven't seen anywhere close to his real strength.
Yes basically every guy has a crush on Tifa. Part of her character is the fact of despite how her outside appearance may stereotype her she is actually rather reserved and wishes not every guy would simp for her. That’s a big a part of the reason why she likes Cloud as he sees her more than just a ridiculously beautiful woman. (This all comes from the ff7 remake prequel novel)

hii, came from your AOT, FMA Brotherhood, and Spy X Family, reactions. So glad to see youre playing this game because it is amazing. However, playing this will confuse the hell out of you towards the end without playing the OG, the prequel Crisis Core, or the movie Advent Children. i love this game but its not actually a remake. its a pseudo remake/sequel to the original final fantasy 7 compilation series. Its tough to explain it more than that but that's just a word of warning, the writers just throw in random characters towards the middle and ending without context who are series favorites but for new comers are literally strangers. Its also just a small portion of the og, like the first 30 minuted of the og. There is sooooo much more story and characters in this series and this "remake" is only the tip of the iceberg.
haha i actually just finished it yesterday! as someone who didn't play the OG, seeing new characters introduced at the end made me more excited to find out what happens in the story. i've decided that i want to play the OG FF7 before rebirth and the crisis core remaster comes out though, so i'm excited to see how the story concludes!
With the VODs, it is hard to watch since my user data drops to only watch 114 which sucks. This is alittle easier to watch. Wish i could have seen the full video but also happy with the clips in this video. They did great with the game

Though I must say, despite what your Twitch chat said, you wandered into some heavy spoilers by watching the trailers. Though I guess it wouldn’t matter if you don’t know the exact context behind certain scenes? Anyway, Tifa is best girl and has been since ‘97.
LOL yeah i was pretty shocked when i saw those spoilers! but like you said, i don't have any context for them at all. i will be playing the OG FF7 very soon though, so i'll (hopefully) know everything about the story soon. :D
After you finish this game or even anytime you feels like it. I suggest you play ff7: crisis core if you dont want to play it then at least watch all the cut scenes of that game. It will explain to you the ending and twist of ff7: Remake. And even explain the importance of his big sword. I hope you can post a reaction vid of it soon. And if also possible, react to the original ff7 storyline. Some things will eventually make sense at the end if you learn the story of the original ff7 and the ff7:crisis core after you play this game
Dude they literally have Crisis Core Reunion coming out later this year so she should just wait to play it instead of having to figure a way to play the original Crisis Core.
I don't believe for one second this girl never played this game before. Her questions about the sword, not reading the instructions when they pop up and playing on easy and claiming later she didn't know....I dunno. There's something fishy or fakey here.
bro i don't read instructions cause i'm lazy and the game switched to easy mode because i wanted to test out recording/streaming the game and shirtless sephiroth mods but didn't wanna ruin my first save file that i had for stream. but if you wanna believe that this isn't my first playthrough then by all means keep believing that!
@@AlanaMisakoGames It's not telling because you didn't read the instructions (or what button to even press for attacking because you somehow knew that), it was the way you handled the camera. I've watched about 3-4 first time playthroughs and everyone has trouble controlling the camera and situating it until just before the Scorpion Reactor Fight. Most people even have trouble getting the jist of switching between characters and understanding how that whole process works. But miraculously you didn't have any trouble controlling the camera, or switching between characters. You didn't even complain how easy the fights were. That is what's telling. I'll take your word for it that this is your first time touching the game but I remain very very skeptical. Eh, who cares what I think anyway. Carry on.
Interesting, I love final fantasy and actually have a blog (and made a video) about ffVII. I always like your anime reactions so I might have to check this out. Also, I think you could do a mean Tifa cosplay, she's my favorite of all the final fantasy heroines, her and Clouds story is just *chefs kiss.
I didn't realize they updated the line from "something mature" to "something refined." Made a lot of people think that "mature" meant old or conservative looking, when it's actually the best dress.
you really get to see how much they butchered the story when you see new players experience the beginning and one convoluted confusing thing happens one after another
You should try n play in Japanese audio as well since you watch anime! Cloud's voice actor is Giyuu Tomioka of Demon Slayer and Sephiroth's voice actor is Ubuyashiki Kagaya of Demon Slayer too!

i found switching from streaming 60fps to 30 in high game movement fixed this problem for me!!! (not sure what you currently stream in tho :$)

No clue if you have a console but if you do, FFVII remake runs amazing on PS5 and it's included in the subscription.
You should play the original FF7 first and compare.. there are so many differences with the original but they did an awesome job so far
