@@funtimealexis_yt5340 oh nice! I can somewhat speak Spanish since it is my mother language, but she has a strange dialect so I’m not really good at it lol
It's always fun to see people's prowess when it comes to either memorizing the layouts and solutions to the puzzle rooms, but the real draw of this game (alongside its physics-violating appeal and joy) is its characterization and dialogue, so thank you for both expertly playing this game, allowing enough time for said dialogue to play out, and for recording it all for the world's viewing pleasure. Seriously: thank you.
I actually LOVE you for this, back when my brother and I were younger, I used to watch him play portal 2 alot. When he got older he started doing drugs and distanced himself from our family. This video reminds me of the time when everything was okay and all we cared about were video games ❤❤
@@Piotr-q2k Only one concept of this made sense and functioned, but it didn't travel from point A to point B, it was a time portal, and not even an official Portal concept. It was a mod.
You forgot: "I just now realized that I used to rely on my management rail to not fall into bottomless pits. And you're my rail now. And you can fall into bottomless pits. I'm rambling out of fear, but here's the point: don't get close to the edge."
3:21:46 I love how despite how goofy they are, all the cores seem serious here. The Fact Core seems to look down on Chell as if concerned for her, and looks around nervously. The Space Core isn't moving around as much and does it very slightly, almost as if fearful of the situation. And the Adventure Core, well, it's hard to tell as he's facing the other way.
Man, you're doing god's work. Really enjoyed how immersive your play was, the playfulness and overall the attention to details. Thank you for your time and patience
I love your attitude torwards the game :) It seems like youre having so much fun from the way you interact with the characters, and that makes me have a ton of fun too! Wheatley is my fav!
great video!! would love to see something like this but with the wheatley boss fight voicelines extended as well. they add so much to his character and i was sad to see them missing here - love this video though!! you play with so much personality, very fun to watch!!
I always thought it said that because it was broken, but looking it up, apparently Portal 2 takes place somewhere between 50 and 50,000 years after the events of Portal, so maybe you’re right!
I always assumed it’s just broken or isn’t set to count that high, i don’t think the length of time is canonically confirmed but there is an unused Glados voiceline where she says something like “50,000 years is a lot of time to think” so I’ve always figured it was 50,000
if you listen closely to the cadence, it actually says "9-9-9-9-9-(pause) -9-9 (Wheatley yells over the rest of it)" so we never hear if it ends or glitches into a loop. Assuming that means it counts only up to 5 digits, that would place the lower limit at 274 years, so I would guess 500 years is about right. The decay and vegetation in those first few test chambers is far less than 50,000 years of decay, but a few hundred is enough time for the Zen infestations to die off (Half Life creatures).
The whole game is a Half Life reference lol. All the scenes where they talk about “if [random] doesn’t exist in the future anymore please let us know” or post apocalyptic stuff it’s referring to Half Life
Fun fact: portal and security breach are the same idenical places just like security breach and security breach ruin most likely portal 1 portal 2 ruin versions
Fun fact: The Spanish thing Wheatley says is: "You are using this translation software incorrectly. Please consult the manual."
Did you google translate it, translate it yourself (Spanish knowledge) or did you generally know it? Just kinda curious lol

The beginning of this game made me fall asleep with how calm is smooth it was, really good. I got awoken up by GLaDOS lol.
Thank you so much for this walkthrough!
I never knew that Portal 2 plot was this good. And it warmed my heart every time you broke one screen 😁

"If the laws of physics no longer apply in the future, God help you."
This is one of the funniest lines on the whole game to me.
