Love that J&J wrote some lyrics in this song... LØREN has been doing lots of things with the group, so he knows them well. He is also the rare guy that appears in a Blackpink video and is the guy in this video. He also plays the Guitar in Rosies latest covers on her YT. He also split lyrics with Bekuh Boom (also involved many BP songs from the beginning) on "You never know"- which basically is a very deep song about the BP journey and hardships.

I cannot agree more! I love this song so much out of other BP's songs.
If you want a truly unique K-pop experience, I'm obligated to plug the group I've been obsessed with since December. Their name is *Dreamcatcher!* They are a seven member K-pop girl group that debuted in 2017. Known for their darker concepts (serious, dystopian, and/or spooky) and for being the only group to incorporate rock into all of their title tracks in some manner. Their earlier rock sound was heavily influenced by J-rock/pop (anime intro vibes). As time went on, their rock sound evolved into a slightly more Western rock sound and they started mixing/blending in other genres. Almost all of their MVs are story driven. Some storylines span multiple MVs and others are standalone. All amazing vocalists (even their two rappers). If that sounds like something you'd be interested in, I'd suggest one of these two songs as a starter depending on what interests you more:
- "BEcause" (2021) - Latest title track. Creepy. The MV and choreography were partially inspired by, and have some references to, the movie "Us".
- "Scream" (2020) - First song in their "Dystopia" trilogy. The trilogy itself addresses and calls out anonymous harassment, bullying, and obsession with technology to try and escape that tough reality.

LSG "feels the most of Western, pop oriented..." No wonder, with those classic David Guetta instrumentation and plucks on the drop, incidentally, with David Guetta credited as one of the songwriters on this track himself. Blackpink is always East meets West in the best way possible!
