I think the single engine choice solves a lot of engineering issues. It allows Nissan to keep refining the chassis and drivetrain to create a really solid truck.
i cant wait to buy mine in maybe 3 years used for 1/3 the sticker price... titans have miserable resale compared to the big 3 and are relatively bulletproof
Excellent video. With the number of videos you've put out your experience and comfort level as a team is really showing off. Thank you. Nice Titan. I'm intrigued even though i drive a F150.
Jason Davis You're right. They're just awesome at reviews and as a team. The best reviews on the internet by far. I also drive a 2016 F150 but have to look into Nissan or Toyota when I move to Kenya if I hope to have a warranty.
Anthony Murphy Play hard ball, walk out of the dealership atleast once, aim for the top trim that is on the lot. Titans can be had for 12+ off MSRP any day of the week
Bernie I am from Louisiana and use to think we had the worst roads, went to NYC a couple months ago for the first time and boy was I wrong, every car or suv we rode in had blown shocks, busted ball joints, etc. I loved the city but wow the roads we terrible
I have driven nissan, ford and chevy trucks. If you have not driven the Nissan Titan, you are missing out. They are so much more responsive than fords and Chevys. They have some real get up and drive like a race car in my opinion. I tow with my 2012 pro 4x daily. It has 110k on it and has had zero problems at all. Amazing vehicle. I will never drive anything but a titan or a frontier.
Everyone complains about the price of trucks and all the silly options. This truck you can now get in a Pro 4X for 41k and under. Most underrated truck out there.
People really bash Japanese Pickups but they are very capable vehicles IMO better build quality. Worldwide Japan SUV's and Pickup are used in extreme rugged terrain. This will be a never ending debate just buy what suits you I personally will always love Japanese Vehicles. In my home county Guyana the terrain is very rugged Amazon Jungle, Savannas very tropical climate and barely are American vehicles seen out there. They have Nissan, Toyota, Suzuki, Isuzu, Volvo, and Range Rovers
I'll agree with the dodge, all trucks better than dodge. but Gm and Ford, their actually about the same when it comes down to it. The Titan also pulls better than the ford 3.5.
Not really worth getting a ( naturally aspirated) v6 in a full size truck- you won’t get better mpg (maybe 1-2 more), but you lose a bunch of power. What is interesting though is how Nissan is putting a lot of work into marketing right now. They just sponsored ‘truckshowpodcast’ and now are helping you guys out. It’s similar to what dodge is doing with their SRT cars
It's under rated. Can do everything the half ton GM/ford and Dodge do with similar mileage, better ride. Brand loyalty is for suckers who keep paying the over inflated prices of the "big3"
C Steele For having such a problem with brand loyalty, you seem to be waving the Nissan flag pretty hard. People will like what they like...your personal opinion won't change that.
I'd love to have one of these in Kenya but will probably have to settle for the Nissan Navara, which is the equivalent to the Frontier. It's seems Nissan has more power than the Toyota rivals these days. I'm really starting to dig the Nissan styling, too.
Mr. RoyaL BLooD I do like the Navara looks. I'm also researching the Nissan NP300. I'll be using it as a rescue vehicle for use in the African bush. So, I definitely need reliability and off-road ability. By the way, by your name, I'm guessing you're a Royal Blood fan? They have killer bass tone!
I love Nissan products too but have watched videos on the Tundra TRD Pro? That is a beast. Can’t wait for the Navara refresh to come stateside, hopefully it will offer more engine options and maybe one of them will be a diesel instead of the thirsty V6 it currently has. Glad to see another Kenyan following this channel.
EV Future I'm actually an American mzungu but moving to Kenya later this year with my Kenyan wife and our daughter to start a rescue home for orphans and battered women. We'll be in the Kajiado South area. Wewe ni mkenya? Unatoka wapi? Mimi ni walimu mkristo na ninasema kanisani wa Bamba na Kimana. Nafahamu KiSwahili kidogo.
Ive never actually met someone who used or specifically enjoyed a sunroof. Cars are covered with visors and tinted glass to keep the sun out, why would you cut a hole in the roof to let more in?
If the car is built with a sunroof from the factory, they never leak. The roof is also reinforced and has drainage passages so that even if the seal would fail, water still cannot leak into the interior. At least that is how the Nissan/Infiniti ones are that i have. In fact, the way the metal is formed in the sunroof pocket, i would bet that the roof is actually stronger than a regular roof. I would never buy one that is dealer installed though, those are just what you said; a normal roof with a hole sawed in it, and then trimmed out. garbage. oh, and i don't really like sunroofs, just seems like half the vehicles i buy have them.
Once they get old and the motor stops working and they leak. Had a customer with a lexus that got soaked after every rain we had. I’ve had 2 sunroofs leak on me personally. Guess I got bad luck.
Nissan makes a v6 motor for the Patrol (Armada) why can’t they try that out on the Titan? I love Nissan products but small things in their products would make a huge difference like power folding mirrors, larger navigation screen, frontier refresh.
EV Future Frontier refresh ?? You never heard of the phrase "IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT !" ? The Frontier is proven, tried, and true ! It works and the advantage is tons of options, and keeps the costs down !!
I think you spelled reliable wrong.... 07 with 257k miles on it's original gas V8... My 2010 Ford and Ram died before 150k miles. The Titan is a superior truck in almost all ways except it doesn't have the family favorite sun roof.
Tank Man I could say the same about Ford or dodge. What a bunch of funny little people being sold a line of Bs best selling best in class best best best. The thing those two trucks are missing is an outhouse attached to carry all the BULLSHIT the truck manufacturers throw on them and hook and sinker for the suckers who bought it.
luv, luv, luv my pro4x. thanx for showing me what it can do. i got it a month ago with 37 miles on it (some of which were my test drive) and now have 2700 miles. i have towed an 8000 lb camper no prob. it accelerates great with that load, and rides well. i loaded it with a ton of wet pt lumber, and again, no prob. the gas mileage does suck, tho. 13.5 around town, and maybe 17 highway.
If youre gonna be keeping this truck for a while, Are you going to be turning IT into an overlander? Maybe show of some of the accessories made for it to be able to do it (racks, tents, etc)
I would like to see a comparison Titan and Tundra inside and outside. And which one have more storage compartments, cup holders, and space inside. Two "Japanese" full size pickup trucks.
I think it's worth mentioning that the ONLY way to get a locking rear differential in the Titan is to buy the Pro4X model. If shopping specifically the Pro4X model, the Nissan is a contender. All other models (probably 95% of their production) are not worth buying.
Great video. The interior of the Japanese trucks (Titan / Tundra) are pretty disappointing when compared with the American brands. But I guess you get better reliability with them. I will say that in 4 years, my Ram hasn't missed a beat though.
To your comment about need more choices of engine, my former trade school instructor works for nissan as a specialist. he is the first person to work on the new vehicles that comes out in manufacturing. he stated that nissan is following the same as most of every other manufacturer, is why fix something that is not really broken. He states its a popular choice so there is no need to producing anything else. I stated to him that, from a possible future customer and consumer. Consumers want choice. So dammit make it.
I like the truck but I don't like the small infotainment screen and the steering wheel look. For that amount of money you'd think, you would get a bit more for your money. A larger screen is not asking much. Also, I wonder if they finally got the cold weather package for the Diesel because I saw videos online where it had really rough starts due to the cold
What about dodges colors? Unless they stopped doing it 🤔....I remember they had colors like DOT (or construction yellow) , they had like a bright green (alien ?) ,And whatnot
mark winkel meannnwhile over at the ram lot we've got a rainbow of colors. Ram should stop with the purple and highlighter greens they look pretty bad.
I live you yellow Titan I can't wait to see the Titan concept Warrior come out and if it's coming out the same time the ram Rebel TRX is coming out or would be so cool.?
ted101975 you ain't kidding! I was just pricing out a new Jeep Wranglers and 4Runners, to get a 4-door Wrangler with enough options to make it livable as a daily driver is a hair over $40,000, and for a base 4Runner SR5, you're looking at close to 38,000.
Money is worth less than it used to be. Plus with more regulations comes higher costs to cope with RnD and implementation of new stuff to stay to code.
ted101975 I bought a brand new ranger in 2000 for $14k. It was a pretty bare-bones truck but it was a super cab. I remember looking at F-150's at that time and you can get a fully loaded 4x4 fx4 crew cab for in the mid-to-high 30s. A lot has changed since then. Except you know the wages haven't doubled. Just the price of vehicles and gas. I will probably never own a new vehicle again if he keeps going in this direction. and I can afford it I just refuse to lose that much money on an investment. 60 grand for an F-series truck. Lmao. No thanks. For 60 Grand I'll take a 1998 dodge viper with low miles and a 2008 Toyota Tacoma as a daily.
There are deals to be made 17' Crew Pro XD w/ what is warrior package, silver with orange accents. Asked 60+ settled on 47k. 2020 I've read the diesel is going away and a 6 will be optional.
Up north we call them puddles too. Sorry to break the news to you but those are NOT mud pits. Water holes don't count. I used to go off road weekly in my F-150 aand the stuff would swallow up that pretty little tonka truck you were driving.
Not having a sunroof is a plus for me. It's just one more thing to break and/or leak in my opinion.
I really like this truck TFL! Keep it coming! 3rd stage you even stopped in the hole and started again no problems lol Very underrated truck!
I think the single engine choice solves a lot of engineering issues. It allows Nissan to keep refining the chassis and drivetrain to create a really solid truck.
That ain't mud that's dirty water!
i cant wait to buy mine in maybe 3 years used for 1/3 the sticker price... titans have miserable resale compared to the big 3 and are relatively bulletproof
Some are going for 20k now with 30k miles compared to a used F150 with 120k miles going for 24k
Andre gets straight to the point and on with the test. I like that. Give that truck hell! Let’s see if it holds up. Great review.
Excellent video. With the number of videos you've put out your experience and comfort level as a team is really showing off. Thank you. Nice Titan. I'm intrigued even though i drive a F150.

Ram has offered some crazy bright colors too! Especially sublime green and ceramic blue!!
Planning on buying a titan, this videos helping decide which package to buy.
Anthony Murphy Play hard ball, walk out of the dealership atleast once, aim for the top trim that is on the lot. Titans can be had for 12+ off MSRP any day of the week
The F150 Lariat. That package is fantastic.
Forget the clown about the ford above, it's a pos. I've got a 17 Titan and LOVE it!
Definitely go with the pro 4x i have an sv but id go with the Pro-4x
Pro 4x hands down. Love mine!
Those are potholes in New York LOL

Oh God tell me about it, I've seen some holes that are like 4ft deep
Baltimore pot holes ain't no joke
Basically all of (yes it exists) South Central New Jersey roads are in awful condition, and North Jersey’s roads are worse
Bernie New Orleans have craters
Great job Andre is always kudos to you and the team
Would love to see the Titan XD single cab XD diesel put through y'alls tests!
There is NO way you even came close to testing this truck. I own a 2012 and I love it. Best truck I have ever owned.
I totally love my 21 Nissan Titan SV. Does whatever I need it to do.
I have driven nissan, ford and chevy trucks. If you have not driven the Nissan Titan, you are missing out. They are so much more responsive than fords and Chevys. You need to find some better mud. Those puddles just don't do it justice.
Everyone complains about the price of trucks and all the silly options. This truck you can now get in a Pro 4X for 41k and under. Most underrated truck out there.

Farouqi Amin You are thinking the right way.
Japanese cars are awesome! Have they seen the power of the JDM cars? And the power of their trucks and SUV’s?!
Couldn't agree more! I was in military and spent a couple years in middle east. There was Nissans and Toyotas all over the place.
Been waiting, do more videos like this, love it
great color for an adventure vehicle up here in Alaska its always a good idea to have some thing that can be seen from the air.
This truck is so underrated
Viren vs but who would pay 40 grand for a nissan?
Viren vs Doug demuro destroyed this truck
Intelligent people, better than paying 50k for Floppy Ford or dodge, that break down.
C Steele I agree with dodge but ford gmc and Chevy are better than this Nissan
I'll agree with the dodge, all trucks better than dodge. but Gm and Ford, their actually about the same when it comes down to it. The Titan also pulls better than the ford 3.5.
Andre and Michael make a good duo for these videos. Well done, doods.
Awesome Truck!
Tearing up other people's trucks would be the funnest job to have!😀
California here!! I leased a Colorado but I always liked Nissan trucks. Great video

C Steele Aint no way the Titan rides better than a Ram
youngblood23rb you're probably right you have airbags and rear coil springs or something. 😂
That titan would look sick with a 3 inch lift kit, and 24 inch tires!
Preston D 24" tires? Some rims are that big. That would look weird. Did you mean 34" ? I'd agree with you more if so.
necstanunn haha! Thanks for catching my mistake. 34” tires yes.
Excellent vid guys!!! Looking forward to this series 😉
Sweet video, love the titan keep the videos coming

Hard forJesus No offense taken.... because I have no idea what that means.
Whenever you cut a hole in a roof eventually it’s gonna leak. #antisunroof
Yeah I suppose but it takes a helluva long time. My '98 moonroof still doesn't leak. The rest of the vehicle is starting to get worn out though.
Ive never actually met someone who used or specifically enjoyed a sunroof. Cars are covered with visors and tinted glass to keep the sun out, why would you cut a hole in the roof to let more in?

I like the Titan. Would love to own one.
Truck actually looks really nice in that yellow!
MY NISSAN TITAN 05 HAVE OVER 280000MILS NO MAJOR PROBLEMS. ONLY CHENG MY RADIATOR ONE TIME. STILL RUN AS STRONG AS THE DAY I BUY.
Nice truck
Would be my next choice after the Tundra
Nissan makes a v6 motor for the Patrol (Armada) why can’t they try that out on the Titan?

EV Future Frontier refresh ??

Guys let’s do a 2019 ram 1500 limited!!! Can’t wait!
Down south we just call those puddles.
scrimmy6969 here in Wyoming to lol i got some back trails for ya
I live in South and it's true 👽
In Australia we call those lakes
Robert Miller I can imagine brother!
yeah looks like he went mudding in the walmart parking lot
I know you have to make money, but nobody watches truck videos to be sold a pay to win video game.
Nissan should detune and rework the GT-R engine for the Titan to rival the EcoBoost
"Titan Trials: First Puddle"
Awesome truck!
Good job Andre' . Now do more video on this one,..I'd like to see how the Titan performs with this V8.
Very cool, thanks guys!
Not that I am aware of.
You and I have a very different definition of the word mud, lol
When it rains where i live it has more water on the street than what you were in 😂😂😂
Nice truck. Like this colour too.
I really enjoy that section surprised you guys made it up there with that big truck. Take that thing to Penn. Gulch.
Nice truck coming from a Dodge/Ram guy, but did I have to hear a shameless plug about some game?
necstanunn their putting out great content for free. I'll watch some ads in order for that to happen.
Could be worse, I recently watched a video by the channel Truck Central that was about 9 minutes long and had THREE commercial breaks in it.
Yes
They have to in order to pay their bills. Sorry.
They have to pay the bills somehow.
Looking fwd to this series
What a funny little truck.
How is it little?
Gavin King I’m using “little” as a euphemism for incapable.
I think you spelled reliable wrong.... 07 with 257k miles on it's original gas V8... My 2010 Ford and Ram died before 150k miles. The Titan is a superior truck in almost all ways except it doesn't have the family favorite sun roof.
Tank Man how so? Please back up with facts....
You went splashing!!
I think Andre just learned what plethora means!! LOL!!!
Put the piston back in the motor!!!
It's probably the one it lost going up the trail. You know how Nissans are.
Give it 5 minutes and someone won't be able to take the sarcasm
luv, luv, luv my pro4x. thanx for showing me what it can do. i got it a month ago with 37 miles on it (some of which were my test drive) and now have 2700 miles. i have towed an 8000 lb camper no prob. it accelerates great with that load, and rides well. i loaded it with a ton of wet pt lumber, and again, no prob. the gas mileage does suck, tho. 13.5 around town, and maybe 17 highway.
I like that yellow, it remind's me of the yellow on older ford trucks.
I love the color
And I agree with the sunroof option. At that price you should get a sunroof.
Got to compare this to the 2015. That would be awesome
I like the color and I like Nissans. Good video !
I have rock to sell you.
Yes I too like the color combination on this Titan,....there'd be no mistaking it on a parking lot.
I kind of like that yellow too.
What's going to be the second mud you're going to install?
Great content as always but I’m still shocked slightly disappointed this truck replaced the raptor
Nice review Andre... would you take this over the Totora TRD Pro??
Pretty cool fellas. Thanks.
Thoughts on leather vinyl seat combo?
Now that it´s ready the 3,8 from the Frontier would fit the Titan good.
I really like the Titan but does it have the reliability issues of the rest of the Nissan lineup?
If youre gonna be keeping this truck for a while, Are you going to be turning IT into an overlander?
Maybe show of some of the accessories made for it to be able to do it (racks, tents, etc)
Not usually a fan of yellow vehicles, but for some reason I dig it on tne Titan. Very different on a truck.
I have sun roof in my 2010 Titan, I wouldn’t have paid extra for it that’s for sure, it’s a truck not a convertible.
Andre great Nissan commercial
Great video. The interior of the Japanese trucks (Titan / Tundra) are pretty disappointing when compared with the American brands. But I guess you get better reliability with them.
I will say that in 4 years, my Ram hasn't missed a beat though.
Titan pro4x vs ram rebel vs f150 fx4
New Titan seems to have a much beefier axle...
Nice truck I like these new trucks but too expensive lol

Nissan only makes one bullet proof engine not a bunch sowing machine engines
Oh me, there you go racing engine. What is it with y’all boys?
Fun, but if you're splashing, you're digging, which means the trail is getting less and less passable.
What about dodges colors? Unless they stopped doing it 🤔....I remember they had colors like DOT (or construction yellow) , they had like a bright green (alien ?) ,And whatnot
Load a Ridgeline and a Titan as if both are running the Super Ike and then race them on a 1600 meter drag.
"No other company offers that bold of a color." I guess he hasn't been to a RAM dealer.
mark winkel meannnwhile over at the ram lot we've got a rainbow of colors. Ram should stop with the purple and highlighter greens they look pretty bad.

Don’t they offer it with a Cummins diesel?
We have a 2017 Nissan Titan XD pro4x silver and gunmetal
Do you think Dodge will bring back the Dakota with all the midsize come back?
That's not mud you're going though ... those are water puddles with rock hard bottoms
such a good truck
Is it just me or is everything crazy expensive?
ted101975 you ain't kidding!
Plus with more regulations comes higher costs to cope with RnD and implementation of new stuff to stay to code.
ted101975 yup and trump tariffs will make raw steel and aluminum more expensive and that's bad for us truck buyers
ted101975 I bought a brand new ranger in 2000 for $14k. It was a pretty bare-bones truck but it was a super cab. I remember looking at F-150's at that time and you can get a fully loaded 4x4 fx4 crew cab for in the mid-to-high 30s. A lot has changed since then. Except you know the wages haven't doubled. Come-On guy's that's not mud that puddles, you can do puddles in a Smart car EH!
never knew ray romano did reviews
No sunroof a good thing not bad when your 6'5" and or just won't a truck without bs markups.
