Bentleys from that Era also suffer from electrical issues and some of those parts aren't made anymore. A lot of the Continental GT's in that era suffer from turbo failure caused by secondary oil pump failing ever so slightly. Not enough to trigger a warning, but the turbos get starved of oil and then they gone. Ask the Car Wizard.
That's only 2011 and earlier models... For flying spur it's 2013 and earlier. 2014 and newer are absolute gems

One thing I also watch out for is the trunk mechanisms wear out eventually and those parts are not made anymore
Car Wizard is awesome, but he really sent so many people off a plank on that. The trunk motor needs two gears and they cost $65 (plastic like oem) or $100 (aluminum).

Struts are super common to go out on those cars, the headliners start sagging all the time and the dash leather will shrink, so make sure to park in the shade!

That car you can buy Audi parts for and the Volkswagen parts for when you go to the Bentley dealer they will charge you up for the same part so do some research on that because I had a similar problem with mine but my mechanic knew that you can get Audi and Volkswagen parts for the suspension. Also get an alignment done at Audi. It’s around $400 Bentley always pretty much doubles the price of the same thing, I think it’s the Audi a eight and a Volkswagen phaeton that you can get parts off of. If you do your research you will find that and it will save you a lot of money. I guarantee it enjoy the car bro.

I’ve had a Bentayga, flying spur and the GT so far to maintain and repair for customers. They are such an awesome vehicle and feel very lucky to have my job to touch them every day

When you made the first video about possibly buying the Continental, I referred to a video stating that the Continental GT was rated as the worst car for dependability/maintenance
I'm sensing either the Rose Acanthus wrap, or the closest to it which would probably be a matte Rose, or matte satin chrome pink. Tron AutoLab going to be hooking you up. But the wrap have to. match those shoes you showed us.
If you do a lot of it yourself, which is easier than some may think on a Bentley, they get far cheaper. I own and maintain an Aston 4.7 V8V and I likely make far less than you do, I'm just a one employee small business owner. But I do all my maintenance myself, so it's quite affordable. More expensive than a Honda Accord, still, no doubt. But far cheaper than overpaying someone else to do remedial tasks for you.

Had savini 22 on my bentley caued susp issues.put the original rims and tires. I wraped my bentley pearl satin white.avery wrap.i would do the same color would look nice with that red interior.

Front wishbone and strut tower are 30k miles parts. I drive mine spiretively on small roads, i change them every 2 oil change... consumables... on another level.

Just a question why didn't you buy an aftermarket warranty on this car? It would take care of some of your repair costs. Or any future major cost.
Do you get that at the Dealership he bought it from or in the Marketplace?
@@msway836 dealerships sell it or there are warranty companies you can purchase from as long as the sale is with in 30 days of the purchase of warranty.

Damn 7k ouch…. I was thinking about something similar instead of my SUV, but that is expensive for minor repairs.
$2100 for tires? Where's the shop getting them from, Tiffany's? 😂 $1300 puts you in a fine set of touring tires. Upper control arm parts are $250-350, labor 2 hours max. Tire pressure issues is probably the TPMS module, cheap, easy fix. The Module is located right behind the rear seat, driver's side, but DON'T expect a new module to work, need to match the serial number from a used unit, otherwise the car will not talk to it without Bentley programming the module and even then, no guarantee. Great looking car, perhaps the finest modern GT on the planet, albeit, newer ones have shamed the earlier versions, though at astronomical prices of like $300K. Also, one should own their own oil company to afford the gas... 😊 Enjoy, big man!
