Overview of Bio Africa Convention 2022

This recent video is a quick overview of the 1st day of the Bio Africa Convention 2022 hosted at the Durban ICC. This convention sees scientist from across Africa coming together to focus on healthcare and research solutions on the continent.
In addition to several Universities attending we saw core support from DSI: Department of Science and Innovation, CSIR (Council for Scientific and Industrial Research), BioCiti and the Innovation Hub. Separations was in attendance featuring workflows for pharmaceutical production, bioprocessing, biotherapeutic production, biobanking, cell culture, cellular biology, chromatography, elemental analysis, laboratory automation, microbiology, microscopy, molecular biology, protein biochemistry, spectroscopy, synthesis and parallel chemistry, water analysis, etc.
Conventions like Bio Africa continue to highlight the need for better collaboration between scientist, startups and established business to build the Bio Economy in Africa.
