You helped me not to make a mistake. Although I love the monitor and its oled panel I would really use 80% to work, so that panel would burn at any moment, I will opt for the crg49 or the g9.
i almost made same mistake.. i have the 120 g9 and wanted to upgrade to the neo until the the oled came out.. almost bought it cause its on sale as of today on Samsung website for 1599 , normally 1799.. seen the neo g9 is on sale too for 1299, so i had a dilemma, gonna go with the neo g9 after my youtube research 😄
my dream upgrade from G9 is the upcoming Neo G9 - 57" Dual UHD! 4K is the only thing I was missing on every G9 so far and its solved + matched with appropriate diagonal. its weird that you didn't even mention that model, since its coming up now any day and solves all your issues as well.
@@Boots3962 yeah, thats the plan (i have 3090, but will switch to 4090 when i buy this monitor). Also, this is not 8k, it is a half of 8k, so its exactly between 4k and 8k regarding fps.
You really mean you would like 2160P, it's impossible for it to be 4K in this aspect ratio as the stupid term "4K" specifically means 3840x2160, it needs to be a lot more pixels across.
I was considering upgrading to this monitor but what you said right at the end ruled it out for me. I create 4K content and which this monitor. I won't be able to preview it at full resolution. Thanks for pointing that out.
I have this monitor and the sound you played sounded empty. While the sound is not great, it doesn't sound that bad. I can definitely confirm the rest of the claims in this review and agree.
The problem with showing sound quality is with the recording and then listening equipment. It is really difficult to show accurately how it sounds without physically being in front of it
Whenever the topic of spending money arises its always a subjective one. Me? In my current financial status, $2,200 USD is an insane amount to give for anything electronic/comfort item related. However, I can imagine being in financial status where I would have no worries paying that haha :)
I want one. Been using a 48" LG C1 for a few years now as a PC monitor. Never going back to LCD. I feel like burn-in in 2023 isnt really something to worry about if you use a screen saver or just turn your monitor off when your done with whatever.

Thanks for your comment. You're right, external power bricks can indeed contribute to the longevity of a monitor. However, it's also important to note that internal power supplies have their benefits too. They often make for a cleaner setup with fewer cables, and there's no power brick to misplace or damage.
@@Choconuss yup already exchanged at $1050 (bought another then returned that one under the other receipt). I could easily do it again but it's not worth $50 to me.
I'm wanting in the super ultrawide boat, but agree the formfactor is productivity focused and gaming second. Burn-in is therefore a concern, would Nano IPS or Mini LED be a better fit for this fromfactor?
Well I recently ordered last years G9 neo mini led it's listed as 4k 240hz, was half off, guess they were getting ready for the new stock. Still awaiting delivery. Heres hoping for no issues.
If they out the power supply in it, it would weigh so much, it's already hard to find a monitor arm that can support its weight, to me a brick is not an issue
I need a wide monitor for work mostly but it would be nice to play on it too. I am happy that I found your review because I agreed with many of the points you made. With that being said, which monitor would you recommend instead of this one? ( I don't care for the backlight, really; I need the real estate to be similar).
Honestly yes, but as you said at this price point i would also expect the 4k ultrawide resolution. i probably wait 6 month for the smaller 21:9 version, makes my wallet happier
If you are poor just say that. The smaller version already came out before this one. It's called the OLED G8. Theres been sales on it you can get it for 1k or less.
refreshing to see a no-nonsense review that gets straight to the important bits, thank you man on another note, i've also been running two of these 32:9 panels for a few months now but haven't been able to find a monitor arm with a high enough carrying capacity to have them stacked vertically like you do, which arm/stand are you using for it? cheers
Thanks! :) glad I could help. As to the monitor arm - I got one from Prism+, but generally look for ones that are fixed rather than with adjustable arms and go by weight.
Ergotron HX(LX is the old model but the pivot isn't strong enough to hold the G9/32:9 monitors): The HX is specifically reinforced for just that purpose.
@@BedBug1984 i know about Ergotron's monitor arms, but they cost ~400€ where i live. it's a ridiculous amount of money, so i've been looking for more reasonable alternatives
@@nnnnitro Yeh it can be rough to get ahold of. I'd wager the most cost efficient solution is a wallmount. It's just more hazzle as it's not really adjustable.
HDR does not work like that. There is no "HDR400" for an OLED display, since OLED does not need 1000 or more nits to achieve HDR. You've mixed different displays and specs. - OLED G9 is an OLED, an infinite contrast panel, which can have HDR due to black going to extreme low as in actually being turned off or being extremely low lit. It having eventually low brightness is a matter of environment you will use it in, not having anything to do with HDR.
Hey, thanks for flagging this. You are right, I've merged the two elements together. will be more carefull with this in the future and ensure to explain it in more details.
@@A2KMediatried to be as nice as possible giving this information. It's a bit of a messy topic even when it applies, since manufacturers abuse the metrics and standards just like with HDMI or DP versions.
I bought this screen a week ago, and for me the screen keeps going black and i have to use CTRL SHIFT WINDOWS KEY AND B to make it work again, really annoying also happens when i tab out of games.
I"m not sure if 4k super ultrawide would be a good idea till we're 1 or 2 generations of GPU further. This resolution is already almost the same as a 4k monitor, just 1 million pixels shy, about 85% of the load a 4k monitor would put on a GPU, for productivity sure, but for gaming even a 4090 would crumble unless you're fine gaming at 30-60fps.
I definitely don'tw ant a built in power supply. This monitors so thin! I just upgraded to the G935c from the 49" CHG90. OLED is amazing I'm never going back to other stuff.
Only one way to burn-in. Just turn off your monitor or use a screensaver that actually moves. Also, don't leave your device on max brightness. Do you hate your eyes that much?
WOW! It is expensive where you are at. It less than half In Los Angeles. Which is a shocker. It $1600 here. And that for the Newest version of their OLED.
Can you connect bluetooth speakers to this monitor and play all audio through the speakers? For example if I have a ps5 plugged into the HDMI and connect this monitor to bluetooth speakers, will the PS5 sound come through the speakers?
Just picked one up for $1099.00. Good things come to those who wait. Back to back, OLED to LED or Quantum Mini LED . There really isn't a comparison. OLED color is by far better. Go to the store and look at them side by side. LED is depressing.
I just got this monitor, but i have a problem and i already tried reaching out to the support and also researched in some fores, but i cant find a ggod solution. The monitor goes blank when i press strg+tab or just the windowsbutton, also when interactin with another monitor it shuts off, its still powered on and can display the tv features, but not the pc input. Any solutions or someone with simmilar issues?
Thanks for this review. Having already really good g9 neo, I will not upgrade for this g9 oled. As stated, maybe on 32:9 / 4k...truly hdr. Micro led seems to be a better compromise for productivity/gaming workload.
the bars are still there when watching videos or movies, easy pass. I had the neo g9 and if i cant fully enjoy the screen display watching movies whats the point ? spending almost 3k for something like that. hard pass . Ill wait until another company makes a monitor that big where we can use the full display.
Updated info as of 12.08.23 There's several reported burn-ins already. There's also ALOT of reports of the G9 OLEDs overheating and starting to stutter or completely freeze. It's not. I've tested the G8(3 of them), the Philips Envia(2) and the Alienware with Samsung OLED panels. The hyper aggressive anti-burn in measures are a nuisance to say the least, yet the monitors still suffer severe burn-in issues and alot of people have ruined them in 4-6 months or less. Not to mention the "#)(¤/%)"#/(%)&%# "Smart"TV features packed into the G8/G9 are just an absolute crapshoot and murders any desire for these products, sans the burn-in issues. The G8 has horrendous flickering issues if adaptive-sync is disabled and has a massive tendency to wonk up or display flickering lines on the bottom of the screen with it on. I'll stick with WOLED's until either Samsung gets their head outta their bunghole or someone else makes something worth looking at.
been trying to figure out if this is possible myself - better still would be if you could offset the display so that you could run a smaller window for apps like that (smart tv mode) and then reserve the rest for the computer at whatever resolution you wanted... not sure that this is possible but the manual seems to suggest it's possible... about to pull the trigger on buying one but for some reason I am hesitating - I have a 43in Samsung UW now that's DFHD and a va panel - hate the color bleed of blacks and want 1440 instead of 1200 vertical... no need for 4k cause it is too much a drain on graphics (though I could push it with my 7800xt the trade off isn't worth in IMHO) ugghhhh
Hi, fellow Singaporean here. Have you heard anything about the 57" Odyssey Neo G9? I’ve been trying to at least pre-order it but with no luck. I’m in awe of the specs but specs seldom hold up irl so I’m excited to see it irl.
there's plenty of brightness on this one. you have to dig into the settings a bit and it will get bright as an IPS. problem is the screen gets hot to the touch.
Hey there! What mounts do you use to have two of these monitors stacked? I am likely about to purchase a new one and would like to use my old one above my new one.
I am not happy with this review, too many technical mistakes in it, like the HDR thing or the reaction time mentioned, or considering this screen as a better fit for productivity work than gaming. Also the price pretty much never was 3.000 dollars, it came out for around 2k dollars, being reduced to like 1.800 dollars just 2 weeks later.
Very cool display and I love that it's light in weight compared to other 49" ones Showstoppers for me Price; I use two 49" displays and I am not shelling out over $4 grand for them Text: Well documented issues of text and OLED Burn In: No question this will have burn in and I have stock charts up all day.
Price: I just ordered one for $1,190 on amazon (Samsung stuff typically gets heavily discounted a few months after release, but in this instance that discount is very significant) It will be a sidegrade to my existing alienware QD-OLED (which is the best monitor I've ever seen, nay, the best display, period) Text: I've never been bothered by the pixel structure of my existing QD-OLED, and the higher pixel fill factor of the second gen panels (used in this monitor) will probably go a long way in resolving that problem for the people that _are_ bothered by that. Burn In: Bullshit. If you know how to take care of this monitor, it just won't happen. But if you're like this guy, and run "light mode" all day, and want to get a tan from your monitor, then by all means, skip this monitor, because you don't really care about picture quality anyway.
i've read elsewhere that it does NOT support display port over usb-c (aka no thunderbolt) - not verified 100% but seems mac's with this monitor are a problem from multiple other reviews I've watched and read - and yes this is a big disappointment (almost as much as the silly mini-hdmi port instead of 2 display ports and 1 HDMI or 2 HDMI and 1 dp - either would have been a preferable combination
I am not pulling any triggers until they release a 7680 x 2160P 54" 144/240Hz OLED or a 27" 3840 x 2160P 144/240Hz OLED. It's another 3 years it looks like 😢
I agree that most people don't need the TV interface but if you have the monitor in your room and want to watch while lying in bed then I can see how having a remote and simple OS would be helpful.
External power brick = if power fries, just replace the brick and not the monitor.
very true, and cable management really isn't a problem with a brick of that size.
Also less weight for the monitor stand to have to hoist up
Also, less heat to the monitor.
Large brick = space for high-temperature and electrical safety

Thanks for a honest review and not just the usual hype train.
Thanks for watching!
You helped me not to make a mistake. Although I love the monitor and its oled panel I would really use 80% to work, so that panel would burn at any moment, I will opt for the crg49 or the g9.
G9 Neo in that case (around 1500 with discounts)
i almost made same mistake.. i have the 120 g9 and wanted to upgrade to the neo until the the oled came out.. almost bought it cause its on sale as of today on Samsung website for 1599 , normally 1799.. seen the neo g9 is on sale too for 1299, so i had a dilemma, gonna go with the neo g9 after my youtube research 😄
@@joesanchez3657 If you mostly work, G9 Neo is the best choice as 32:9. G9 OLED will get burn-in eventually, if there is a lot of static images.
@@joesanchez3657 I bought the oled for 950 dollars with a lot of discount coupons that Samsung gave in the pre-sale in my country
@@socialreport2836 yeah thats the issue with OLED for productivity
my dream upgrade from G9 is the upcoming Neo G9 - 57" Dual UHD!
4K is the only thing I was missing on every G9 so far and its solved + matched with appropriate diagonal.
its weird that you didn't even mention that model, since its coming up now any day and solves all your issues as well.
agreed
And it's gorgeous, though, I've never used an old monitor, but the 57 is absolutely beautiful compared to the neo g9 49. 4k is impressive
Hope you have a 4090, 8k is no slouch, without dlss, won't see 60 fps
@@Boots3962 yeah, thats the plan (i have 3090, but will switch to 4090 when i buy this monitor). Also, this is not 8k, it is a half of 8k, so its exactly between 4k and 8k regarding fps.
You really mean you would like 2160P, it's impossible for it to be 4K in this aspect ratio as the stupid term "4K" specifically means 3840x2160, it needs to be a lot more pixels across.
Why isnt it mentioned anywhere that it is QD OLED and not OLED panel?
I got an off brand 49in display but I wanted to get the one you have:). I hope I am not disappointed
I was considering upgrading to this monitor but what you said right at the end ruled it out for me. I create 4K content and which this monitor. I won't be able to preview it at full resolution. Thanks for pointing that out.
glad we could help :)
I feel like burn-in in 2023 isnt really something to worry about if you use a screen saver or just turn your monitor off when your done with whatever.
when mine gets burn in, i'll build a small racing sim to dump it in and go buy a new oled, can't go back either.
Nice review. What type of mount did you use to support both monitors?
the new 57 inch will be mine: productivity + confort: Boomers like me should have their life eased
Use Better Clear Type Tuner to fix your text issues.
U need to enable gsync in nvidia controll center. Then for some reason the text is clear AF after that!. I have the same monitor and u can also get more then 1000 Nits when u use HDMI 2.1 and do the right settings. HDR+ Gaming Setting on OFF and HDR for game on normal. Also u can change many other thinks. But this 2 settings u need to try.belive me its even better then u think. With displayport 1.4 i have max 400 nits for some reason. With Hdmi 2.1 its 1000 on peak brightness. i use an rtx 4090.
You have the oled g9 and have 1000 nits brightness?
@@A2KMedia yes. Peak brightes is 1000 nits. I have also the LG oled c2. And in some scenes the samsung is brighter then my 42 inch oled c2. But only with hdmi 2.1 and the settings wich i used for hdr
that seems weird considering they advertise peak brightness 400 with typical 250. You sure you have the newly rleased Oled G9? When did you buy it?
@@A2KMedia i buy it 1 week ago. And yes it has peak brightes of 1000 nits. with HDMI 2.1 and HDR+ Mode on off and Game mode on. HDR true black 400 doesnt mean that its not hdr 1000 on peak brightes.
On 100% window i have 280 nits.
on 100% window with hdr and game i have 420 nits.
with 10% window on peak brightess r 1% i reach 1020 nits. And yes i have both now site by site the lg oled c2 42 inch wich is max 800 nits on opeak brightes and the samsung oled g9 wich i bought for 2000€ 1 week ago. And in peak brightness i have with hdmi 2.1 on the samsung brighter scenes. Also the Gsync u need to enable then u have extreme good picture without seeing any pixels on the text. I dont understand why it is like that but seems like samsung need to make some firmware updates or make a guide how to change settings for max performance. I find this all out after i used all settings and try everythink to get the best picture possible. I test this for hours
i have g sync enabled and it’s still blurry but i am using display port
External power brick is easier long term for longevity
Thanks for your comment. You're right, external power bricks can indeed contribute to the longevity of a monitor. However, it's also important to note that internal power supplies have their benefits too. They often make for a cleaner setup with fewer cables, and there's no power brick to misplace or damage.
Just grabbed one of these. At $1200 USD it felt like a steal.
You get it yet? Is it worth it?
@@305dadecounty305 yes, I absolutely love it. The contrast and color is amazing.
should have waited bruh 999 at amazon now
@@Choconuss yup already exchanged at $1050 (bought another then returned that one under the other receipt). I could easily do it again but it's not worth $50 to me.
watching this video w the oled g9 rn. it's awesome for gaming and productivity
Are you able to connect 2 pc or 1mac and 1 pc at same time? In this video he said we cant
yes! and you can split the monitor into 2 screens
2:47 if anyone have this monitor, i recommend a soundbar that has
wi-fi. it works flawlessly.
i have the samsung q990b
Got this monitor and could not be happier with it.
I'm wanting in the super ultrawide boat, but agree the formfactor is productivity focused and gaming second. Burn-in is therefore a concern, would Nano IPS or Mini LED be a better fit for this fromfactor?
Burn in is not much if really any issue when gaming
Well I recently ordered last years G9 neo mini led it's listed as 4k 240hz, was half off, guess they were getting ready for the new stock. Still awaiting delivery. Heres hoping for no issues.
If they out the power supply in it, it would weigh so much, it's already hard to find a monitor arm that can support its weight, to me a brick is not an issue
110% DCI-P3 is a relative color gamut but the display covers about 99% of DCI-P3 (from this particular color gamut space).
Comfused on your take on hdr. The monitor does peak at 1000 nits for highlights not 400
What stand are you using for the monitors?
so whats your favorite large screen for productivity? LG 45" ultragear? How about the LG 48GQ900-B 48 ??
I need a wide monitor for work mostly but it would be nice to play on it too. I am happy that I found your review because I agreed with many of the points you made. With that being said, which monitor would you recommend instead of this one? ( I don't care for the backlight, really; I need the real estate to be similar).
pick the neo g9 instead of the oled.
what monitor stand did you use to mount them ontop of each other mate ???????
If im not mistaken HDR true black is 300nits up to 500nits when in hdr mode which this monitor is rated at. Typical brightness is 250nits
Honestly yes, but as you said at this price point i would also expect the 4k ultrawide resolution. i probably wait 6 month for the smaller 21:9 version, makes my wallet happier
I would also expect real Gsync not just Gsync compatible.
@@loksolidsnakeNowadays they're almost similar.
If you are poor just say that. The smaller version already came out before this one. It's called the OLED G8. Theres been sales on it you can get it for 1k or less.
G9 OLED is already quasi 4K.
@@loksolidsnake What is the difference? Does is mean it's not good for RTX 4090??
refreshing to see a no-nonsense review that gets straight to the important bits, thank you man
on another note, i've also been running two of these 32:9 panels for a few months now but haven't been able to find a monitor arm with a high enough carrying capacity to have them stacked vertically like you do, which arm/stand are you using for it? cheers
Thanks! :) glad I could help.
As to the monitor arm - I got one from Prism+, but generally look for ones that are fixed rather than with adjustable arms and go by weight.
@@A2KMedia right, i see. even if it isn't as adjustable it's still better than nothing. thank you!
Ergotron HX(LX is the old model but the pivot isn't strong enough to hold the G9/32:9 monitors):
The HX is specifically reinforced for just that purpose.
What stands are you using to stack both of your super ultra wides at 00:05?
hi, did you find a good mount? Also looking for this setup, best
I believe the oled black is ideal for a black colored ide and the contrast would be great for reading source code. have to get it.
I need this monitor for my homeoffice. I believe this would be great for coding.
A2K, what are the options under screen size? Would I be able directly through the monitor to set it up as 21:9 aspect ratio? Thank you.
Why not buy the cheaper OLED G93SC without the smart TV features especially if it's tied into a PC?
I bought this screen a week ago, and for me the screen keeps going black and i have to use CTRL SHIFT WINDOWS KEY AND B to make it work again, really annoying also happens when i tab out of games.
You said “3 millisecond”… it’s actually “30 microseconds”
I"m not sure if 4k super ultrawide would be a good idea till we're 1 or 2 generations of GPU further.
This resolution is already almost the same as a 4k monitor, just 1 million pixels shy, about 85% of the load a 4k monitor would put on a GPU, for productivity sure, but for gaming even a 4090 would crumble unless you're fine gaming at 30-60fps.
Two 4k screens would be good for productivity not gaming
@@A2KMedia That's what I said :P
I don't know if I agree with the brightness, i mean, was jus thinking of toning down the brightness cause it was hurting my eyes after a while.
DisplayHDR True Black 400 standard is not the same as HDR 400. 250 cd/m2 is typical brightness and peak is at 1000 cd/m2.
@A2K that power brick is massive. What are the specs of it? I just got g93 but dont have a power supply for it😢
best to check in directly with samsung as they may have region specific parts.
Do you hate your eyes that much?
price is intressting
In Europe you get it from 1400 - 1600 currently.
WOW! It is expensive where you are at. It less than half In Los Angeles. Which is a shocker. It $1600 here. And that for the Newest version of their OLED.
But... Netflix in browsers is intentionally sabotaged to lower resolution due to industry-wide consumer-hostile paranoia.
Power brick inside the monitor means more generated heat on OLED, something you shouldn't generally wish for.
what would be a good alternative but is still 49 inch ultra wide?
5:18 crushing a lot of black there on the OLED. Wrong picture mode?
I just got this monitor, but i have a problem and i already tried reaching out to the support and also researched in some fores, but i cant find a ggod solution. The monitor goes blank when i press strg+tab or just the windowsbutton, also when interactin with another monitor it shuts off, its still powered on and can display the tv features, but not the pc input. Any solutions or someone with simmilar issues?
what about the coming PG49WCD this month?
Thanks for this review. Having already really good g9 neo, I will not upgrade for this g9 oled. As stated, maybe on 32:9 / 4k...truly hdr. Micro led seems to be a better compromise for productivity/gaming workload.
G9 is great too! :)
@@A2KMedia Indeed neo g9 is pretty good at hdr, gaming and productivity.. :)
@@A2KMediaG9 is very good for productivity work but for HDR gaming G9 Neo is considerably better.
I bought this for 1 reason
Sim racing
Due to not having space for triples this is the best thing
the bars are still there when watching videos or movies, easy pass. I had the neo g9 and if i cant fully enjoy the screen display watching movies whats the point ? spending almost 3k for something like that. hard pass . Ill wait until another company makes a monitor that big where we can use the full display.
Updated info as of 12.08.23
There's several reported burn-ins already.
I for one love the smart TV as I don't have a TV in my room only my computer
Hi,
can you pip the apps & inputs?? as say 27 inch for the netflix app and 27 inch for your pc?
been trying to figure out if this is possible myself - better still would be if you could offset the display so that you could run a smaller window for apps like that (smart tv mode) and then reserve the rest for the computer at whatever resolution you wanted... not sure that this is possible but the manual seems to suggest it's possible... about to pull the trigger on buying one but for some reason I am hesitating - I have a 43in Samsung UW now that's DFHD and a va panel - hate the color bleed of blacks and want 1440 instead of 1200 vertical... no need for 4k cause it is too much a drain on graphics (though I could push it with my 7800xt the trade off isn't worth in IMHO) ugghhhh
I just bought one. I know this is an old video because Samsung is pricing this for $1,199. with a discount it came to $1,234.04 So I hope I like it.
I'm still trying to figure out how to adjust the height :-/

Hey there!
What mounts do you use to have two of these monitors stacked? I am likely about to purchase a new one and would like to use my old one above my new one.
hi, did you find a good mount? Also looking for this setup, best
Fair regarding HDR, sorry about that. In terms of price, it is shown in Singapore Dollars which was accurate at the time of filming.
Got the aw3423dwf for now, I'll wait for 4K 32:9 in two years
Very cool display and I love that it's light in weight compared to other 49" ones
Showstoppers for me
Price; I use two 49" displays and I am not shelling out over $4 grand for them
Text: Well documented issues of text and OLED
Burn In: No question this will have burn in and I have stock charts up all day.
Price: I just ordered one for $1,190 on amazon (Samsung stuff typically gets heavily discounted a few months after release, but in this instance that discount is very significant) It will be a sidegrade to my existing alienware QD-OLED (which is the best monitor I've ever seen, nay, the best display, period)
Text: I've never been bothered by the pixel structure of my existing QD-OLED, and the higher pixel fill factor of the second gen panels (used in this monitor) will probably go a long way in resolving that problem for the people that _are_ bothered by that.
Burn In: Bullshit. If you know how to take care of this monitor, it just won't happen. But if you're like this guy, and run "light mode" all day, and want to get a tan from your monitor, then by all means, skip this monitor, because you don't really care about picture quality anyway.
Cleartype Issue?
4:25 3ms??
The photo you showed literally shows 0.03ms response time.
🤣🤣🤣
Is type C also a display port and power delivery port?
i've read elsewhere that it does NOT support display port over usb-c (aka no thunderbolt) - not verified 100% but seems mac's with this monitor are a problem from multiple other reviews I've watched and read - and yes this is a big disappointment (almost as much as the silly mini-hdmi port instead of 2 display ports and 1 HDMI or 2 HDMI and 1 dp - either would have been a preferable combination
dang... those black bars are just grey @ 2:32
hey, that must be a reflection. I can reasure you - they are completely black
I am not pulling any triggers until they release a 7680 x 2160P 54" 144/240Hz OLED or a 27" 3840 x 2160P 144/240Hz OLED.
It's another 3 years it looks like 😢
7680x2160 is going to be insanely hard to run even for the top GPU on the market....
I’d say 4 or 5 tbh
why you dont have a game hub ?
I absolutely love this monitor
I’d rather go for the Neo G9 with mini LED and no tizen OS and better response and more low key
I agree that most people don't need the TV interface but if you have the monitor in your room and want to watch while lying in bed then I can see how having a remote and simple OS would be helpful.
True black 400 does not mean 400 nits peak brightness. I have this monitor and it hits 1000 nits
Pretty sure it does reach 1000 nits? Wouldn't make sense if it didn't compared to the other OLED panels.
