They were in the Anakin/Obi-wan book called “Brotherhood” and the book is really good, but they popped up in an early chapter and it took me out of the book for a little bit.
i read the novel the clone showed up in and was SHOCKED, told friends and community members and they GENUINELY DIDNT BELIEVE ME till everyone started talking about it.

What is most unreal for me, is they tried to make the bad batch look like outcasts, like regular clones, the "regs", would pick fights them, belittle them or look down on there tactics and SOPs.

Ever since I saw A New Hope as a kid in theatres I’ve honestly never considered the sexuality of any of the characters. Means nothing to me. Odd that they define their characters by their sexualities. Isn’t that what they’re accusing their imagined “enemies” of doing?
NOT THIS THING AGAIN!!!! This was the reason I left Star Wars for more 2 years. I had a hiatus after Episode IX and was planning to come back in 2022 but I learned about this character and left for 2 more years and now I’m back and I consider legends only stories and screw Disney and their trash!

Episode 2: Attack of the Clones made it crystal clear that every clone is trained and programmed to obey orders without question and without hesitation.
In the Expanded Universe, it was further established that Palpatine was the highest recognized authority figure in the Clone Chain of Command, and Order 66 was 1 out of 150 contingency orders.
Dave made up brain implants for all Clones because he couldn’t stomach the idea that Rex would try to kill his waifu Ashoka. It was absurd that the chips required a “5th level scan” to be detected, having it be removable granting Clones 100% free will with no negative side effects was even dumber. Tup having his chip malfunction nearly ruined the Sith’s plan, and it made the Jedi stupid because they didn’t seem to find it odd that both Tup and Fives were muttering something about killing Jedi.
If any of the cloners on Kamino knew about a transgender clone they would have been euthanised directly after learning of it, they were perfectionists but also clones of a male mandalorian so yeh nah that can’t happen

There is a HUGE difference between inserting a political agenda into the content, and George Lucas taking inspiration from actual historical events to tell a good story. And that right there is what these people fail to understand.

Wanna know something stupid? Disney is making up thousands of new clone trooper characters when there are clones with unique arnor who are never given screentime nor character development in The Clone Wars.

Kathleen Kennedy threw out Legends complained about the lack of source material then said they would create their original stories and then copied from Legends anyways and now tries to get things changed from 1-6

Not by Caminoans at very least, they were trying to supress this part of their personalities ... but the fact is that Caminoans failed in this regard.
With Jedi this thing gets a bit more complicated ... since some indeed encouraged them (Anakin did, Obi-Wan did, Yoda did, Plo Koon did, Aayla Secura a lot ...) but some didnt and some even get the same way as Camionans (mostly Ki-Adi-Mundi and Mace Windu ...).
But it was stated many times that Clones indeed were individuals (to a certain degree at least) ... and there was no known way to supress that, no matter what Caminoans tryed.
Anyway you are right, most people in galaxy far far away wouldnt probably care about this particular thing ...

The things is, that unless they hid the fact that they thought like this until they shipped off of Kamino, they would have most likely been kept as a study subject and potential experiment to find out how this came to happen in a clone that was supposed to have been genetically manipulated as they have been. And even if they hid it until they were off planet, if it was found out, the Kaminoans would have wanted to try and get them returned to the planet.

The SW universe has the technology to do insanely crazy medical stuff, pretty sure they could do a surgery to where you wouldn't even know they had a surgery for a low cost. Most of the characters have fake limbs that work perfectly.

Theres no problem with clone troopers have individual personalities and the clones are not encouraged with individuality. As clones exit the training they're assigned with different tasks and duties in different places, their experience and personality will diverge naturally.
The problem being WHY and WHAT EXPERIENCE would a clone trooper decides that his gender is suddenly important and wants to change.

I consider the Clone Wars animated series as Lucasfilm's response to (from what I heard) marketing data that said Star Wars was slowly dying, and so they had to create a show that basically forced young people to want to watch and need the toys with something called FOMO...Lucas wanting to tell the Clone Wars story was one thing, but, the show was too much too fast.
What also gets me good is like, they're a clone, unless they get plot armor, which they probably will, considering it's a socialpolitical message, they'll probably get unceremoniously mowed down in battle. Like, 'Sister' will probably be deployed, be riding into the operation area on an LAAT, then some droid SAM is probably going to fire a missile at it, and the gunship and everyone on it will die. So like, why make a big deal out of it in-universe?
In a galaxy full of strange aliens, why would a transwomen be special!

Witches in Star Wars goes back as far as the Ewok films in the 80s. People seem to forget or gloss over that Star Wars is essentially a fairy tale in space.

I'm not a Star Wars mega fan, so I don't know all the deep lore, but I've heard from the devoted fans that the cloners would never have allowed that. The first sign of a defect would have this clone taken out of the system and potentially even put down. So are they meaning to tell me this clone essentially went 'nah im good' and continued on with their training?

Early on, the Jedi had problems identifying clones on the battlefield, as they all looked, and sounded the same. The Jedi encouraged them to differentiate themselves with haircuts, tattoos, and armor markings.

Let me be clear, I am not a fan of the trans Clone BS. I really do not like that. Since that is now out of the way, I can continue. They encouraged the Clones to be more individualized mainly because they aren’t just organic battle droids that follow orders and don’t think about anything except what they are told. If that were the case, they would be worse soldiers. Clones were bred for war and in war, you need to be tactically smart. If Clones can become more independent, they can become much better and smarter soldiers. Thats the advantage of having human soldiers. They were actual people that can have their own thoughts and can think for themselves. It allows them to get better on their own. They also gained their own personalities because they were people, that is what happens. Also, the clones would greatly look up to their Jedi generals and serving with them for so long would cause the Jedis’ personality to rub off on the clones. Especially when the clone is serving alongside someone like Anakin. This is what happens each had their own consciousness. The clones were programmed to follow orders to a certain extent, but not enough to impede their cognitive functions. Also, just saying “they’re extras” doesn’t really take away from the fact that each clone is their own person and has their own soul and their own consciousness. (Sorry, I’m not trying to get all sappy, I’m just saying.) Each clone is their own person. The Clones were the biggest part of the Clone Wars. The Clone Wars was made to bridge the gap between episodes 2 and 3. You can’t avoid having the Clones in the Clone Wars. The Clone Wars was used as a way to expand on the characters we know from the films, but also introduce new characters with the clones. It also is a way to show the relationship between the clones and the Jedi and how they fought together, and how their comradely evolved over the course of the war. We got to see a tiny glimpse of this in Revenge of the Sith. Obi Wan and Cody kind of have a buddy-buddy type friendship until Order 66. Also, the Clone Wars was a great way to demonstrate the capabilities of the Clones as soldiers and show why they were able to wipe out most the Jedi. It allows us to compare them to stormtroopers and see how different the Republic is from the Empire. However, the whole trans clone thing is beyond stupid and is extremely forced.
Just the morons breaking lore trying to play gotcha. They could a make a trans character work but when they do something they just shove it in. Following lucasfilm is just disappointment. Not only are they making fans mad but making it harder for the supposed stories they want to tell even harder to achieve after their actions. Smh

Palpatine the later Emperor duped the Republic into letting him "buy" this army. Armies in general are not fond of individuality. They are not happy with modifying your uniform hairstyle and whatever. This army being a tool for an authoritarian power grab in the end would not have received training modules about respecting individuality. Because ... they have to shoot allies in the back with no hesitation when ordered to do so.
This scenario is counter-authenticity in every aspect. Individual hairstyle interfering with headwear - NO, Individual colour scheme of your uniform/equipment - NO, Accepting dissenters - NO. It would be more authentic to introduce concepts of individuality and tolerance (!) into the Republic side. But it is simply laughable with the Emperor's tools. The clones are tools to be consumed in the pursuit of power.

There's no problem with trans characters, but the problem here is that having a CLONE of all people during the Clone Wars suffer from Gender Dysphoria makes no sense. Clones are literally trained to only focus on fighting droids, they are groomed to be war machines since birth. They do show emotions and have their own personalities, but at the end of the day, their main focus is winning the war.
I don't see how such a clone wouldn't be marked as being "Defective" and allowed to participate in active combat unless they're Commando levels of skilled. These guys were not primarily viewed as human by most of the Senate after all and were classified as simply being "Property" of the Republic as a resource to expend. Clones suffering from mental illness would be viewed as defective product at the end of the day.
Also, why waste having a trans character by making them a clone and not possibly showcase an alien species that has completely removed the concept of gender within their society. That would be a more unique way of showcasing such ideas in a Scifi series instead of the cookie cutter approach.

Wouldn't she be using 7th sky corps orange? The actual pattern on the armor isn't actually... terrible? But why is it not orange with grey? Or something like that? They'd actually have a pretty decent armour design if they didn't have, the political pride flag colours. Better colour scheme, Orange to replace pink, light grey tone on the blue and a darker grey on the CG style markings.
Disney canon should have just used sparti clones, clones from different templates, earlier in the timeline if they wanted a reason to use female clones, or just have actually explained when this clone transitioned and way better if they were going to make it a big deal as this would have not happened on Kamino, this clone would have been recycled. Stuff like this with parts of a fleshed out universe where this would be... highly unlikely needs way more explanation than just "this exists now".
Make a trans Stormtrooper/rebel. Being a "clone" means, by definition, they aren't diverse.

It's like a show specifically meant for the side characters for the prequels or any character dace and lucas wanted to add to the movie but didn't. And with ot the reason why the clones got individuality is because the time they spent with the jedi, the chip arc had the Caminoins concerned they developed individuality from the jedi. But i still dont agree with thos book.

I think the only thing salvageable from Disney Canon is at the very least anything from Tales of the Jedi to the Mandoverse maybe but Kenobi Series is terrible and Tales of the Empire not needed plus up for debate on Book of Boba Fett, Mando Season 3 and Ahsoka skeleton Crew is up for debate as well as it comes in a month and a half but my word Disney is really destroying everything left and right and they just will not ever stop

Given all the troopers are cloned from one guy as far as I am aware, then for one of them to be non-binary would indicate that was a choice. That goes against all the arguments made against conversion therapy and all the other horrific things done in the past.
I like the bad batch series. The stories was very interesting. Echo was a well-written female clone character. But this here is bs.
