Your videos have me so pumped for my Erie trib trip in October. I’m newer to the pin game but have practiced all summer on our stocked streams for trout. I do have a question for you Noah, when you fish for smallmouth, do you hook the minnows in the back, mouth or tail? Which way creates a natural drift? I look forward to your steelhead run videos. Make sure your dad gets on some.
I usually like hooking them through the nose. I don't really think that one way works better than the other, what's more important it that the minnows are alive and active. Good luck on your trip and we appreciate the support!🎣😎
Absolutely awesome guys. I would love to learn how to fish trout up in this area. Been up here for 9 years and I can't figure out where to go when to go and what to use. And where to go where it's not shoulder to shoulder with everybody else
Thanks Jeff!! Pretty much all tributaries that run into lake Erie have runs of steelhead, all I do to finds spots is Google maps it, best time to hit the tribs is when the water level is falling from a meltdown/rainstorm, and beads, egg sac, and jigs work like magic!! Good luck to you😎🎣
Where are you coming from, been fishing for these fish for 30+ yrs, 84 east to voorman rd, go down that big hill, there’s a place at bottom of hill,,, map that whole area, there’s Muskie also in there late spring, ive seen 5 footers toothy monster swimming down there, so watch for them Places there’s easy access to many spots, I have many spots
Am stuck@ home and The Outsiders come with another fire video for us when it's well needed...ty again for the vid god bless to all and plz stay warm
Stay safe out there Alberto!!🙏🙏
