We used to drill holes in the bottom of the rear bumper and put trailer hitch balls upside down. Drag blocks weren’t a thing back then.

As long as it doesn't get in the way / functions well. Leave the rat fink shifter as is. It fits the build perfectly lol

The valve covers that are on it look 100% better than the ones on the floor.
Those are known as "EF's" 1988-91 CRX/CIVICs. My first car was an 88 hatchback. But I had 4 of those CRX's. Love'em.

I wouldn't dare ditch the valve covers that are on it(probably polish them). Amber lenses look better than clear ones. I absolutely love how the holes in the cowl and the seat compliment each other. I definitely wanna see you take it to a Honda meet.
I love the JDM rat rod esk that you got going on with this car. You should put lead weight behind you and under the gas tank that might help your lack of grip
This car is what brought me to your channel. I’ve always wanted to see someone do it to a civic. But this is even better. I love it! I’d love to see a caprice wagon or roadmaster. I’ve got a 93 and had her for about two years now and just in love with them. Love you Casey! Love your shit!

if you get OEM-style mudflaps on the back, or find a way to route the exhaust all the way out, you could fit drag blocks under them to hide them a bit better

Use piece of flat steel, possibly an old leaf spring. Attach it to underside of vehicle instead of to rear bumper. That will get drag block under vehicle and allow good bit of mounting choices plus some articulation. Imagine willie bars

Maybe get a MSD DIS DIRECT IGNITION SYSTEM KIt (part number 60151)its a Coil-Per-Plug conversion, it looks quite lower and it may help you with the clearance to the windshield

It looks so cool! I like the amber turn signals but the chrome surround might look better black. also I think you should cut the shifter down, not sure if you talked about that when you installed it

can you follow the angle underneath the windshield to the rollcage and fill in the bottom to the rollcage? pretty sure you might have to make room for the rollcage/crossbar anyway. coming out nice brother,keep up the great work you're doing

You could do the drag blocks on a swivel, that way when you want them you can take a pin out drop them down, and then for every day driving rotate them up and put a pin in and have them tucked behind the bumper

Those amber turn signals look great on there. Can't wait for the rest. Maybe a couple dimple dyed holes on either side of the Honda emblem on the hood so the rad gets more air. This is my favorite TH-cam car by far right now. And I watch puddin and pole barn aswell 😂

Did same thing with an accord wagon built 302 now I am doing a 9 inch and twin turbos or a big single but I have to mount them in the trunk with nacca ducts for intakes

I really wish you'd make that cowl hood longer.. as in Like closer to the front of the hood in overall length.. and that shifter should be at a normal height
My ol crx si build i did it too drag blocks ext like my mini trucks what i did was just made a bracket that bolted too factory tow hook and it had a sleeve pole deal with a lock pin i would keep the little pole and titanium blocks in the hatch with me and when i wanted too go drag that nigbt just slide them on fast and had fun and when i was done just removed them and tossed in the hatch
Great job bro, I would say, find a way to lift/tilt the steering wheel up higher and a solution to pushing your seat right back, maybe cut and make two seat shape and width alcoves to slide the seat back into for a more comfortable ride. Love your videos bro, keep it up
Put blocks on eclectic piston on switch so u can just push button to lower blocks from behind bumper if stupid idea let me know
