They are called pull up or pull down resistors. Some ECU's have internal selectable pull up or pull down resistors that you can turn on via the software. A Pull up resistor pulls the voltage high. A pull down pulls the output to ground.
I run a driveshaft curve for the first portion of the run, then transition to a front vs rear wheelspeed table so I can grab the scramble without running into the "dots". I have some advanced options that will only allow it to add the scramble if wheelspeed is below X%
Especially on low grip surfaces I don’t use the “perfect pass” style TC. I use a series of IO and tables to create a slip ratio based TC that will remove or even ADD boost and timing accordingly and if necessary cut ignition as well. Don’t have to mess with time or resets or anything. Don’t have to guess what the DS curve should be for each road. Very versatile. Something to maybe try out.
At the end of the day, it’s about what works best for you. I understand why a lot of racers don’t like the idea of the master enable switch. Cause you can forget to turn it on and possibly cost you a race. Interested to see how it turns out.
I’d say put it on a switch. It solves the burnout issue and you can turn it off when you’re confident you don’t need it depending on the track conditions. Being forced to have it always on I would say is not ideal.
Appreciate these videos John your deal on the resistor just explained something weird I see in the data with almost the same thing that I use to disable the launch retard for burnouts
I told you on the last video, I have the video on my channel with adding switches for TC. I have my TC & launch retard on a switch so I can do a burnout no problem no funny business. You don’t have a pro dash but it’s the same thing with an Amazon toggle switch.
Disable the TC and tune the car by air, fuel and spark! You can add timing with your scramble or take away timing with your bump to go faster or slower on a pass! Provided your suspension is set right or close to right! Just my opinion. Can't win if you can't make any power!
He forgot the button to bump over the motor. Seems like your having some software problems, have you reached out to Austin or someone who does holley all the time tuning
I don't know if the raccoon cousin over there. North Carolina got the word. Do not apply tax. So you may be suffering from a little bit of undo strife. The word may not have got to him yet!! TAX IS REAL!
I'd definitely rather have Bad Day of Racing than a Good Day at Work ❤. Prayers for the Hurricane Victims 🌀. God Bless Everyone and Trust in our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus ❤.

Electronic Traction Control = The most expensive part on your car to slow it down.
That's funny. Ryan Mitchell and nearly all the people that win, use it, but I'm sure you win more than them all.

Hire Pete from HED get it sorted and you just drive
Good luck at the track
Bro Ryan Mitchel is a Holly Gurue give Him a Call He Tunes all types But Holly is what he runs and Likes to tune best
Holley! He knows Ryan Mitchell and even mentioned that he had talked to him about some stuff.

Steve Morris uses this skating to stop rust on valve springs and other uncoated steel

Interesting John.
I bet you will figure it out.
Save up some $ & get an aluminum block😎
The Raccoons say take your time .

That is going to be a big change going to ground
We have great time every time we see you race everybody should go to the races everybody is so welcomeing

SMH
Let's Gooooooo
Put the collar on a drill and then the sensor near it and see what happens.
I've never used one... But don't you use the driveshaft plot to set your TC??
Still goes off a timer
I'm no tuner at all bit my traction control stays on the whole pass. Is that not right? I'm confused now....

Traction control should never be allowed in motor sports, imo
I agree, traction control should be your right foot 😂
It works by pulling power and slowing the car down so I say let 'em have it.
@@andrew_brentcars from the factory has it. Of used right it’s a safety feature not a good way to run down the track. Slow is fast fast is slow
