It was the same toss sweep they ran against Cincinnati earlier that season for a long touchdown. Just like the famous one on Monday night Football at Seattle. I knew they were gonna run it when the Raiders were trapped deep in their own territory and it nearly worked but the DB caught up to him and twisted his leg all to hell. Very few people could catch Bo once he got into the secondary.

As much as I love Bo and he was one of the best athletes I have ever seen play with my own eyes, Deion played a day game with Falconies then took a plane to play a night game with the Braves. That’s commitment and love for sport.
I was at this game in 1990. I was 9 years old. I distinctly remember the inside the park HR. I’ve never seen another one in person in all the other games I’ve been too.
The fact that someone existed that played MLB and NFL simultaneously blows my mind. Thinking about how good Bo and Deion were at both makes me question reality.

Being from Ft.Myers Fl love me some primetime and madd respect for Bo Jackson....I modeled my style from both of them with a little of Cal Ripken and a Ken Griffey batting stance....
@WorldFlex He was not better at baseball. He was a little above average. He loved baseball more though. He only had one season where he had 30 homers and only one season of over 100 RBI's. He was a .250 career hitter. He was just a highlight reel. He would have been a star in football. He played half the season and would almost 1,000 yards so you know a 2,000 yard season was coming. Plus he was a 5.4 YPC guy. Football is much easier tha baseball, especially the RB position.

Two-sport careers are awesome, it takes a tremendous athlete AND a tremendous discipline/willpower to not get exhausted in a hurry.
P.S. My name's not Greg.
I cried so hard when Bo injured his hip. I thought he was the perfect superstar. Quiet and a sportsman. I actually just started scooping up his sports cards again. Probably my favorite athlete of all time. And has a great story. His 30 for 30 is 🔥
BO KNOWS
💪👊
As much as I love Bo and he was one of the best athletes I have ever seen play with my own eyes, Deion played a day game with Falconies then took a plane to play a night game with the Braves. That’s commitment and love for sport.
Great video man! Amazing! Brought a tear to my eye. Nice job. I didnt know how that history unfolded. I just remembered the two great players.
Why must you freak me out at the end of the video? Why!?!?
Yeah I was pretty freaked out there too. Replayed it twice just to make sure I wasn't hearing things.
oh, so that wasnt a Danny Gonzalez reference
just checking in with the rest of the gregs
Glad I'm not the only one. That freaked me out lol
I thought he said Craig freak me out
I was at this game in 1990. I was 9 years old. I distinctly remember the inside the park HR. I’ve never seen another one in person in all the other games I’ve been too.
Who else teared towards the end when they became friends?
2 of my favorite athletes of all time
1:55 is why Deion Sanders never tried to tackle anyone in the NFL. :D
The fact that someone existed that played MLB and NFL simultaneously blows my mind. Thinking about how good Bo and Deion were at both makes me question reality.
next overlap should be ken griffey jr and sr would be cool to find out when they met
BO had the best all around God given talent maybe of any athlete ever. The amazing things he could do on the baseball & Football fields with what looked like effortless motion.
Another overlap that should have been mentioned in this video was Brian Jordan being Deion's teammate on the Braves AND Falcons at the same time.
Bo & Neon Deion- will we ever see the likes of these 2-sport athletes again? Incredible.
It's like everyone forgets about Brian Jordan tho
Fact! He even played with Deion on the Falcons, surprised to not see him mentioned at all. Pro Bowl alternate in football, all-star in baseball!
Being from Ft.Myers Fl love me some primetime and madd respect for Bo Jackson....I modeled my style from both of them with a little of Cal Ripken and a Ken Griffey batting stance....
If Bo had not been injured in 1991, his career could have been as successful as Deion’s.
No doubt
Bo already proved that he was America's best athlete
In baseball he would have been more successful. But not in football playing only half the season.
Nah because he wouldn't start until week 7. This caused him to nver have a 1,000 yard season.
Beautiful story, I have great respect for both of these men. Fine example for aspiring athletes.
10:56 Deion hits the catcher with a street jesus flying knee
Best two athletes ever period never see it again
I have spent my whole life getting mistakenly called Greg. You’re freaking me out! 😂
Thank you for the video. It brought back childhood memories idolizing these two.
Everyone knows is a SHAME Bo isnt in the HOF...
These two were amazing.
Overlap: Larry Holmes puts the final nail in Muhammad Ali's career, and then Mike Tyson does the same to Holmes and does it for Ali.
Man🥴,just when I thought I'd seen on another channel excellent content done separately on both players and wrote comments on comparisons of the two, I saw your channel and voila! You simply put, nailed it. Your video deserves an award and should be presented on a major sports network. This content absolutely amazed me because it answered questions that I wouldn't have thought of asking. But desired to know. There's a serious lacking in network TV. Your stuff is par excellent research and sets the bar in documenting iconic sports history. There has to be a way to trademark such brilliant reporting and documenting. Maybe that's why I stopped watching TV a long time ago. Stay true to your talent and keep producing such amazing work.
brian jordan also played baseball and football. i remember as a dodger, there was a play at the plate and jordan used his free safety skills to absolutely detonate the catcher. dude was out cold and the ball rolled out of his limp fingers.
People forget about the 3rd 2 sports star, Brian Jordan. He and Deon were actually teammates on the Falcon for a few years.
My name is actually Greg. I was trying figure out how you knew. Lol
Two amazing athletes and an amazing video to sum it up. Well done as always
is greg a reference to danny gonzalez 😭😭
Respect to Deion, but Bo is another level of amazing. And let’s not forget he ran a 4.13 in the combine, no one can touch that. Plus he was unstoppable on Techmo Bowl.
Looking for a Yankees Reds or Braves Deion Jersey right now
@Erics real Dad either or but prefer a replica
That opening statement is legendary. Amazing point Secret Base
So Bo didn't like Deion because he was more "hip"?
Some people are humble. Some people are show offs.
Very nicely done content. I was too young to know more of the details about the two athletes dual careers. I just remember always hearing about Bo Jackson and Deion Sanders being the only guys to play in both the NFL and in MLB. I remember all the “Bo Breaker” baseball cards I accumulated. But I applaud you for putting together this video, very nicely executed.
Next one: Peyton Manning vs Tom Brady
Bo Jackson, Dion Sanders, Mike Tyson, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Michael Jackson, Carl Lewis.. the late 80s early 90s were lit
I love these videos because I just get to marvel at some of the best athletes ever to play sports
This show should be on prime time.
This was really well put together and I really enjoyed it
Excellent video, again.
Beautiful testimony to a couple great, if one of them tragic, careers.
uncensored f-bomb. great stuff.
Thanks so much you all do such great videos!!! Not even that huge of a baseball fan and i wathched all the seattle dorktown
