  • Hand and Grip Exercises for Paralysis patients
In this video, Dr. Puru Dhawan demonstrates how people living with paralysis can regain hand movement by employing a smiling ball and an elastic band.
Paralysis occurs when a patient is unable to move their legs or hands due to a stroke. Patients with paralysis are encouraged to engage in activities with the help of a smiling ball. We've also seen that patients regularly lose their grip, rendering them unable to hold or, if they do, quickly release a ball. Following a few basic steps, a patient can maintain control of the ball. First, the hand must be assessed because the patient must be aware of their grasp. Patients are encouraged to move both internally and externally. Patients should move about while holding a smiling ball in their hands. To get the needle going, we advise the patient to open the fingers of the affected hand with the help of the unaffected hand and keep it at a 90-degree angle. Spastic muscles will benefit from it. It's vital to note that patients should provide heat to the affected area to relax the muscles. Paralyzed people receive heating oil to assist their muscles in relaxing, while patients who are not receiving therapy from SRIAAS can obtain the same results with gel pads and a hot water bottle. After applying heat to the muscles, patients can now perform the workout with the smiling ball. If the patient has spasticity while exercising, the heat can be used again and again.
Furthermore, the patient must remember to stretch. Every day, patients should do it while tying it to their hands. Finally, patients are recommended to wrap a 2-meter elastic node around their neck and keep their affected hand in it. Pull the elastic downwards now; this exercise will help with elbow mobility. A similar effect can be achieved by wrapping the elastic around the legs.
A patient must understand that brain injury, not muscular damage, causes paralysis. As a result, we recommend that paralyzed concentrate on their brain rather than their strength. In addition, we've seen people improve in the first month after paralysis, but their healing stops after six months of immobility. Neuroplasticity is the brain's natural mending process, which begins after six months of paralysis and can be boosted with our medications. Our treatment helps reset neuroplasticity and works on the muscles by providing a customized food chart and exercise routine for each paralysis patient. Knowing if the patient has excessive cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, a possible brain clot, or a brain hemorrhage is crucial. In addition, they understand the root cause of the paralysis aids in treatment.
G.R Sharma (patient) had two brain strokes and was unable to walk as a result. Because the stroke occurred twice on his right side of the body, it impacted his muscle activity. Even after therapy with allopathic and ayurvedic facilities, there was no muscular mobility. After only one month of treatment, we were able to help him regain muscle movement. Our drugs work directly on the brain, triggering the initiation of muscular activity. We advise every paralysis patient to take their medications on schedule and follow a balanced diet and exercise program to speed up their rehabilitation.
