- This Candy is ONLY Made every 365 days! The first time we made this bark was back in 2021 and it was with milk chocolate. And then we made it again, but with white chocolate and it was so Eastery looking that we decided to make it an Easter special bark! I think it looks a lot better with white chocolate. What do you think?

💑 About Hercules Candy
Hercules Candy has been on Steve’s side of the family since 1910(ish). When he took over in the 70’s, he anticipated after 10 years of hard work, he could move the business out of the basement and into a real storefront. Unfortunately, it took until 2018 for that to happen, but hey at least it happened! Steve and Terry own the shop, Craig (the social media manager) is their son, Cara (wrapper and shipper extraordinaire who is poised to take over the shop one day) is their daughter and Leah (who doesn’t love being on camera and is very elusive) is their oldest daughter. Karen has been working for Hercules Candy since the twins (Craig and Cara) were about 6 months old and everybody else is a new recruit. Don’t forget to subscribe and hit the 🔔 for more videos!

I love the Easter candy making process. Fruity pebbles would be my favorite for sure. Steve is a pro chocolate creator. He always makes your mouth water when he’s melting the chocolate and adding special goodies to it. And I love Julia’s new spring apron. Love to complement on her different ones for the season. She’s a sweetheart!
I ordered some as soon as I saw the video without even watching the video first 😂. What about a cranberry lime hard candy. I feel like that would be really good.

If you do white chocolate creams, I would love to see a tangerine, key lime, and raspberry assortment. It's so hard to find creams in those flavors ( not a fan of orange flavored sweets, but somehow tangerine is amazing)

The first time I ate Fruity Pebbles was in 1968 or 1969. My mom found them in the commissary when we lived on Okinawa. I was 9.
Over 50 years ago i bet it flew too…
@@98slime86 I don't know how it was shipped to the island. By plane probably. I don't remember ever seeing any cargo ships. Okinawa is a very tiny island. It's about 60 miles long, and goes from 7.5 miles wide to 17.5 miles wide. It was a very interesting place to live. I'd love to go back for a visit some day, but it will probably never happen.

Oh and Craig I haven’t been watching the videos in awhile but your video editing has become so much better. It was great to begin with but the things you did with your mom’s outfit and the way the bark earthquake happened was just so cool. It looked exactly like you said. I used to love fruity pebbles. But now that I am over 30, all the artificial food coloring plus milk makes the last stage of digestion very uncomfortable.
For me it’s not really the cereal or food coloring, but I think I might be somewhat lactose intolerance with whole milk at least. A little half and half in my coffee or cheese on a sandwich don’t seem to bother my system. 🤷♀️

Don't know why I never noticed how obvious cereal companies lied about being healthy when I was younger. It's so obvious if you just think about it. It's just sugar, carbs and dairy. Guess that's the power of advertising.

I would love to try this. If Scott doesn't like white chocolate but he likes this combination. I have never liked Fruity Pebbles, but maybe I'd like it with white chocolate. I think Cap'n Peanut Butter cereal would be awesome with milk chocolate. I know a lot of people talk about Reeses Peanut Butter cereal, but I think Cap'n Crunch is superior. I wonder if Cap'n Crunch Crunch Berries would be good with white chocolate? It would look very Easter-y in color too. Love the videos. Julia has the best laugh, Scott is very funny and love Steve working with chocolate, the rhythm is very soothing.

Being a chocoholic, I prefer Cocoa Pebbles.
I sometimes make Fruity Pebbles marshmallow treats.
Though, they are much sweeter than the Rice Krispy version.
So, a little Fruity Pebbles treat goes a long way.

With white chocolate, the milk association automatically made me think "won't the cerial get soggy??" and then I remembered that of course not, it's chocolate and it hardenes in about two minutes. 😁

Should use the malt o meal version with marshmallows.
Is still the full sugar formula, where most of the name brand sugary cereals have changed the recipe to reduce sugar.
Plus it has those lucky charm style marshmallows.
I would make this once a month but also make different types, like one with Nutri Grain
