I have a 1987 ford f250 factory carb 460 4x4 4 speed single cab truck my dad bought new. Now has an edelbrock carb(put on in late 1990s). I let it sit a while. Now gas gauge doesn't work. Dual fuel tank doesn't work. Put on a new mechanical fuel pump. Not sure if it has booster pumps in tank. Does anyone know? It has been desmogged. Pertronix inside a points distributor. Thanks

That sounds like an awesome rig. This one has a mechanical fuel pump on the block but I've never looked into the tank.
10:57 this kids is why you dont put your face over a carb just ask some "old timers"
It's already happened to me too. 😂
Nice video!
Glad you enjoyed it
I wonder if the timing is the problem. Maybe go through and check if the distributor is loose on the inside or something.
Good idea. I think its the original distributor so its probably worn out or something.
Why did you disconnect the vacuum advance ? And you have an electric choke which was not connected.
Cual es el problema?
