Tough fight Gordon, doing what you loved till the end. Much admired, much appreciated, much respected and always will be much missed going forward. Rest in peace my friend.
I love that Gordon was doing what he loved until the end, and was willing to let us see him when so many others wouldn’t. He is and will always be missed.
Just came in to check his last video ... A pro all the way through the end, even while very very ill already. Someone on Reddit of all places said it very nicely: "We don't have many tech legends to look up to, and now we have one less" Rest in peace good sir!
Rest in peace Gordon the Goat. Tech king. 🕊️🙏. Always a great guy for pc world even reviewing my CPU I actually used In my gaming pc which it is a Amd Ryzen cpu. Gone too soon. Hoped to Review tech in a different world. You will be missed but you will be remembered by us. It was a tough fight. I’m here for Gordon since little. Heard a news about it.
I remember seeing him in GDC 2023. I was in the background and one of his video. He has so much energy, enthusiastic, and just watching him work was pleasure. Please rest in peace. You will be missed.
This video shows how big professional he was. He was still working hard and making videos one month before his death. You will be really missed Gordon, we love you. Rest in peace
The productivity performance improvement gen-on-gen is the real highlight of this CPU! Gordon totally nails it when he asks if we’ll see a dual X3D chip on the 9950X3D! That might be the next all-around top cpu
I came back to watch this video when I read the news of your passing. You'll be missed Gordon. I got a subscription to MaximumPC and PC World when you joined those publications. Your commentary and insight has been so influential. R.I.P. to the G.O.A.T of PC/Tech Journalism!
Yo, Gordon! I’m stoked that you got to review this absolutely TITAN of a gaming CPU! If not too much trouble, would love to see outline some tips and advice on the best memory for this CPU. I have an X870E. Thanks, man! God bless! Praying for you and we love you, dude!
I had no idea. Adam and crew, as a retired broadcast tv engineer I can appreciate what has gone into producing this. You guys made the right decision. Kudos to you. RIP Gordon, The Full Nerd won't ever be the same again. Pancreatic cancer sucks, I was born the same year as Gordon and I have already lost three close friends to it.
I watched this when it first came out and thought how is he doing this? If I have a COLD, I can't think straight. This guy was nearing death's door and still putting out truly quality and objective content. A legend, perhaps THE legend of tech journalism.
I couldn't even get 5 minutes into this video when I first tried watching it over a month ago. Seeing Gordon so thin and running out of breath was too sad and hard for me to watch. Even now, I still can't finish watching it. I don't know if I believe in an afterlife or next life, but I hope wherever he is, he's doing well. PCWorld, The Full Nerd, especially, definitely isn't the same without him.
So upset man, just coming back to see one of his final appearances. Gordan as much as he was fighting cancer, still had fight in him. The passion for his job shows his strength and love for it all. Rest easy and condolences to the family It's just, reading what I wrote about a future 9000X3D review stings...
