- Today I take a look at the new Winter Mod v3.0 in Euro Truck Simulator 2! This Winter/snow mod changes the game physics as well as the maps and appearance of the trucks. Nice vid :) A mod you should try is the Route Advisor(Map Off) Mod, it can make the RA be at top of screen and only show text and icons etc. I use it now on the latest patch(not the beta 1.14) and works fine. It helps a lot when you use the default RA Screen like you do in the truck.

i was inpatiant for a tank tow and it finally is here for me to watch does it look sick or what with that truck towing with that painjob and towing nothing else but a military tank so you can tell me if that doesent look pretty awesome because i sure think it does look very awesome nice going jamie and for that snow on the road deal you got there i think i will laugh pretty sick while watching cause the little bird heli was hillarious xD

Jamin000 did you try tire chains? I think part of the mod lets you get either snow tires or chains even.

The hit box of any mod trailer is the same size as that of a normal (vanilla) trailer and is positioned at the end of the trailer. So when you use such long mod trailers, there's a section in the middle where cars don't see any obstacle and just drive through without hitting anything ;)

I don't think its possible but I think it would be cool of a mod if you were a trucker in the Midwest in tornado alley and every once in a while a tornado pops up and you could be sucked up in it if you got caught in it. Also there could be other wrecks and debris flying everywhere.

when your bob tailing (means no trailer) in the snow there is very little weight on the truck

Randy zhen) it's a little silly that you get comes with it can therefore also be as white winter here in Eupa so it's probably more you not perceive what is happening outside your door for you sit too much at your computer and on the web
i have that and the mod a swell but its a pain when you turn corners sometimes i get stuck
btw, your trip was about 10 hours, the 70 hours were how much time you had to deliver it on time ;)

why do your streets have snow on them? mine are just normal.. already tryed with just the winter mod activated :/
How do I do that? I don't know where to place the mod folder so it makes the mods work with the game.

I think you can also not enable the slippery roads... I might leave that off and just use the winter mod for the scenery lol
No leave it on, so much fun and it adds to the realism! I noticed after I made the video that the trip wasn't 70 hrs, it can be hard to read that stuff when I'm trying to stay on the road!! LOL - Thanks for that :)

yeh bmp-2 is only 14 tons battle equipped..maybe its the snow it tries to simulate and it makes it feel weird

I just got my new Logitech G27 and I am now downloading City Car Driving but while I am waiting I am actually playing Euro Truck Sim 2 with it and it works but me and my family are having a lot of trouble getting the sensitivity perfect and I will just barley turn the G27 and the wheel in the game goes all the way around to its steering limit. Please help and answer.

Its good to use the engine retarder and the engine brake too

How do you get in to the upper 6 gears I thought the logitech g27 shifter is only a 6 speed?
I programmed a button on the G27 to enable another 6 gears :)

I believe that is a BMP you are towing. Initially they are Russian, though thats obviously the UN version. Also, it weighs 13.2 tonnes.
How do you look around in the game?
Also...I'm considering getting a gaming PC and have NO idea what kind of spec and peripherals I'd need to run this game as smoothly as you do. Any advice?
DJCRooK3D I use a track IR system! With PC's just get the best you can for the budget you have - I run a 570GFX card which is not very expensive :)

Hey Jamin.. there is an updated version of this mod that fixes the physics and give you better traction and still remains slippery. One of the big complaints of the winter mod is not being able to gain speed on the highway.
