From my limited knowledge of backing an articulated trailer I can give a few tips (although I'm sure most can do a better job than me).
1. If possible do a straight back in.
2. If doing an articulated back, drive along the face of the parking spot then pull away at a good angle, then turn the wheel back so that the cab and trailer align leaving the rear wheels close to the opening.
3. Start the truck moving slowly, then turn the wheel slowly to adjust the angle.
4. Watch the back most tire to estimate the trucks backing angle.
5. If unsure about anything get out of the truck to look around.
I'll have to put those tips to use - seems like parking these trailers is all about the angles! Thanks man :D
Your trailer parking runs me INSANE!! I do it in like 30 seconds. But, practice makes perfect as everyone says!

Love that truck dude:) Thats my second favorite kind of kenworth other than the w900l. But i like the kenworth w900A model from the 1970s and 1980s best of all.

Seen a driver do that in a medium in Michigan. He didnt hit a car but got stuck and had to get towed . the tow bill plus fine was like $5k. Another $1000 to store the trailer. Needless to say they impounded the truck and the driver is no longer drivng that truck.

the tunnel you mention is the tunnel dug underneath the english channel/la mansche. It is not a piece of SCS fiction. Quite handy means of transport (30 mins travel time compared to at least 1,5 hours on the ferry)

gonan bump this up, but i think i figured out what was causing the engine to die at a hill. No, you were not the only one to experience that.
zzzzzzGlatteis (german "glatteis" =ice ) meaning there's no way in hell you'd be able to even accelerate to the point game allows you on thick ice...I disabled it and tried a run, its still winter, and hard to handle, but had lot less truck slipping out...give it a try ( disable glatteis portion of wintermod if you want only snow effects ) :P

I wonder what the 6x6 is. All wheel drive. Next time when pimping the truck,click in all options to show all the different accessories even if you aren't buying them

I was excited about the Hungarian map (I live in Hungary) until you sad that it needs a new profile. I just don't want to start it from scratch as my trucking business is still in an early stage. But I sure will watch your video about it if you will try it out! Also, I'm sure you have the winter mod installed, but it is the 2014 European edition: no snow, just rain. :)
That is the hardest thing I'm finding about running the map as well - leaving all my awesome trucks behind :( So, I take it you guys don't get much in the way of snow over there?! LOL :D

The newest Hungary map is a lot better than the previous versions as far a bugs go. After many hours of driving I have only run into two invisible walls and one was on an interchange leading to an undeveloped section. You should also note that the time dilation is closer to 1:2 so it takes a while to get through every day. Also the pay is very low compared to regular ETS2 but other expenses are still high.

Jamin000 Sweet...Apparently Assetto Corsa has the feeling of when your on a track, where you are nearing a corner and feel like your going slow but then you look down and see that your going at 110 km/h :) (does that even make sense? lol)

They designed the truck wrong the pipes go on the back of the sleeper I know cause the company I drive for has 8 and luckily I got the W900L with a studio sleeper other than that the truck looks like a T660

Yeah The whine on that truck is intolerable, and it doesn't get any better up in gear 17 or 18 with the larger engines and boxes

Jamin kenworth in reall life is way better than peterbilt Kenworth is like Cadillac of trucks lol.. But this mod.. Needs work on inside done asap

Has anyone had problems with mods not showing in the game?
That is a common problem - a lot of times you need to remove some mods for other mods to work, give it a try :)
how do you look round your cab like that out of the garage i can only see the drivers part not the sleeper?

Jamin000 oh right Thanks. Do you know if theres any other way to do it because the IR system is a bit to expensive for me :P
FaceTrackNoIR might work but you have to do a LOT and I mean a LOT to get it working right. I tried to make it work and it kinda worked but it jerked around about every 10 seconds even if I held my head still.

if any1 can help me solve this issue i would be most grateful. ok so when i have this mod enabled, game crashes when i got to dealer, it works fine if its only mod enabled. but i have a mod that changes sound of another mod truck kenworth w900a, those two have always worked fine. i found out that if i disabled sound mod for the w900 i was able to load up the t660. but i have no clue why they are conflicting. help :(
i fixed it :D, incase any1 was having similar issue. that sound mod i used for the w900a was from originally from a peterbuilt 389 sound mod, i opened the scs file and dug thru the def folder and found scii and opened in notepad and it still said it was for peterbuilt389 and i changed to kenworth.w900a, all is well now

LOL...the engine sounds like a toy truck. The exterior is beautiful, however.
While I love the video that truck isn't one of kenworths nicest. We run 3 kw's 2 Pete's and 4 internationals and thank god I never got stuck with one of those. Lol.
lol, so you actually drive a truck? Which model?
Jamin000 Not by trade. I work in the scrap industry, but sometimes get stuck in one of the internationals with the 3 sided Benson car trailers. I am certified in most heavy equipment, which I actually enjoy. Being a truck driver full time in real life would probably give me a heart attack in New York. The drivers on the road are just to stupid for me.... If you like the Kenworth trucks I suggest taking a look at some of the older ones. They used to be a very classy looking truck. Todays models are terrible though. Between the emissions issues turning them into fuel guzzlers and the electronics they are just terrible trucks. You can't fix them yourself anymore.

It worked fine last night, but this morning I got up early and figured I would mess with it and the game kept crashing.... Thanks for the great advice! Just got the wings as I call them for the obutto. Sweet is the best way to describe them. Now I have to set up the track IR
csrosselli Hey no prob man, I back everything up b/c I mess with the game so much - you'll never know what will happen! Those 'wings' as you call them must be nice, I haven't got them and not sure I will due to room restrictions! The Track IR will change the way you play this game completely! :)
