- Today I take a look at the Kenworth W900, another awesome truck mod in Euro Truck Simulator 2! The Kenworth is an American trucking icon which I see used in this area daily so I was excited to take it for a spin! this is a truck from the 70s they were only built for hauling and not comfort back there. the company in work for has old dumptruck and some of the drivers wear ear plugs to work. heck even my 98 pete is loud inside.

It's loud because the window in that mod is rolled down. Notice how the sound doesn't increase when you switch to exterior camera.
Those old Kenworth Logging trucks were always that LOUD !

The reason why you wernt going is when you were customizing the truck you put in an 18 speed transmission but on your shifter you can oy use 12 of those gears
I'd like to point out that you chose an 18 speed transmission. That is what the last number was on the transmission selection. You have a 12 speed shifter so you can't use those last 6 gears. Also, the engine for this truck is a bit wrong. The sound doubles as you go above a certain rpm in certain gears.
As for the navigation, the one built into the truck has a bigger screen compared to the one that comes with the game. The one that comes with the game has top and bottom bars cutting it to make it smaller. Just like movies do to get HD but a smaller file size.
I've learned since I did this episode that your point are 100% right - I'm going to try the truck again with an 18 spd transmission and see how it goes because I really did like it! :D

That type of kenworth, ( logging semis, were made for pulling power and not a speed demon.)
I like the new intro, looks cool. Another great episode. Awesome looking truck but the sound... pfff, had to turn down the bass a bit to keep the neighbours happy. Wich model of the Track IR do you actually own and do you recommend it for the price it costs? And yes, I really love that new photomode too. I also take one or two pictures per trip. Looking forward to the next episode, preferably with another truck or the engine sound turned down a bit :)
Hey - yeah the intro is awesome, glad you like it! I have the latest version of the Track IR ( five I believe ) and it is worth every cent if you enjoy simulation games, I wouldn't play this game without it. I've since learned that the Kenworth in this video had a 18 spd transmission ( can only use 12 ) which meant high revs, high noise. S I'm gonna take another run with it and change out the tranny it hopes of a more pleasant trip on the ears! LOL Take care sir :D

Jamin000 i got the winter mod working but the truck is really slow with this mod, will putting winter tires make it go easier or is the mod set to give more resistance at all times because of the snow?
Well it it's winter outside so how about snow mod from now on. It just adds something to the game makes it look new.. P.S. this truck dose have 18 gears and 4 reverse gears

The wide and open spot in the truck is caused the modder made it a stretched one
Looking to your tires ... weren't you just "slipping" all the way in "snow" ? That should explain why the truck didn't go any faster.
No that wasn't it, this truck had an 18 spd tranny and I could only go through 12 gears - changed it back after the video and it was much better :)
My friends dad has that truck in real life and it is so loud he drives it at night and it wakes me up

Aaron Staehr Make sure you have the Logitech profiler running at the same time as you game - that should resolve a lot of issues :)
did you download the software for it
yer guys but when i turn to steer the steering wheel at one point it turns right around and the Logitech web page download wont recognize the the steering wheel and then i got a download from another page and it works find but the the steering wheel has issues

oGxMaXiiMuMZz you should be getting a .rar file when you download the mod which needs to opened to find the .scs file - you must be downloaded it wrong. Be sure click 'download file' then use WinRAR to extract the needed files :)

Jamin000 yes it is a very nice truck but loud ;) but very nicely upgraded but I like the GPS enlarged so I can see the speed and gear. that's my prospective.
Yes this truck is very loud! It needs to be run with an 18spd gear box to minimize the noise, but overall the truck is a beauty :)

Be careful with this truck. If you have an over-sized load and you need a tow when you spawn at the repair shop your truck will glitch into the air and damage everything. So learn from my mistake, don't crash.

It's a device that attaches to your headset and tracks your head movement via sensors - hope that helps :)

He could not get into the other 6 gears in his 18 speed Spicer.
It's also it could be a Shit truck considering w900a's were discontinued awhile ago only w900l's and maybe w900b's are still made now
