No, the Forza games got delisted from the Microsoft Store. If you own a Forza game digitally, you can still download and play it from your library whenever you want. In fact, before they were taking Forza Horizon 4 from Game Pass and delisting it from the Store, Xbox actually sent me a free code, so now I actually own the game digitally, and I imagine they sent it to other Game Pass subscribers who played the game too.

Did you install the disc drive right away (before powering it up the first time)? I have a brand new PS5 Pro, which I haven't unboxed or booted up for the first time. I'm trying to figure out if it's OK to install the disc drive immediately (before the first time turning on the console). I'd like to install the drive right away, but I want to be sure there isn't some quirky reason to hold off on the disc drive installation until after powering it up after unboxing.
@@jimbodavis1944 I have a PS5 PRO and Slim disc version, You can install the disc drive straight away it won't cause any issues. As for the SSD you should boot up the PS5 PRO which is what i di d first let it update activate the disc drive since it will ask and sign into your PSN account because that allows it to let you use games already installed on a SSD it has to be the same PSN account that downloaded the games to the SSD. Then once signed into PSN disconnect PS5 PRO from TV and install SSD, reconnect to TV and you should find the PS5 PRO instantly detects the SSD and its there with all your games from your older PS5 ready to play. Some may update.

I always try buy physical for the games I want if possible especially for the ones that have gone down in price. Lately though, I have been on an indie game shopping spree and the majority of them are digital only. The good news is that most of them when on sale are super cheap and have much smaller data size than the AAA variety so you can easily pack more than a hundred of them even on 1 TB. There have not been a lot of must-play AAA games the last few years and I am just waiting until I can commit to the PS5 and all the associated costs. I will only buy one console per generation so it was worth the wait for the PS5 pro to come out.
Bought the Pro after I won $3K in Blackjack (started with $20) -took 3-4 hours of playing. I had the launch model since 2020 and felt like an upgrade. It’s expensive esp you include a stand and DD. Thats life.

I have both a slim (with disc) and a Pro set up in my game room - the slim for 4K UHD Physical media and the Pro for digital games with better graphics.
If you ever need to factory reset your PS5 Pro way in the future when the servers are dark, the disc drive will be useless because you will be unable to re-synchronize it with your console. Yes, I think about these things. I'm a preservationist nerd. 😊
Let’s be honest while you need to wait for Black Friday discount for games that are new you can still buy digital versions of older games. Literally Red dead redemption ultimate edition on a disk costed 125€ while the same ultimate edition on the PlayStation store costed 22,5 €, because there is literally 50%-90% discount on multiple games, if you want to buy disc games only go for them if they are new since they price is the same on the store, but if it’s a older or previous gen game, it’s not worth it since you can get this games for less then pocket change you won’t even feel you bought a game it’s that cheap.✌🏻 Let’s say you bought a standard edition disk game for 60€ after you play the game and you want to resale it you might get 30€ back so you’re still - 30€ but you can buy the same game on the PlayStation store where there are always discounts and you probably will get that game for 25,5€- 30€ so in the end you saved 30€ instead of being - 30€ plus you can still play that game if you want to play it again or new content is added to it.✌🏻

This pricing by Sony was a low move, as was keeping the disk drives scarce, I bought it anyway but I couldn't atm recommend the console 100% BUT if you do this drive is an essential purchase if you like owning your games and saving money, still don't get why I can usually get a game ('the game collection' i cannot recommend highly enough) often a day or two early and at least £10 saved, physical is the only way to go, if you get a game on a sale then worth it, digital is great for things like P.T demo or Transformers WfC for example but if my hdd goes so does my games and as far as I know you cannot buy either atm so I keep them safe but physical is my go to option, take Star Wars Outlaws or the truly horrendous Dragons Age Veilguard for other examples, I was bought them for my birthday, tried them, didn't like them so I traded them in and decent price instore to buy a few games I would like, if a company like PS or XB wants to go full digital it will be a sad day for gaming and it is probably inevitable unless we buy more, Alan Wake 2 may have done better if released physically at the same time but no and the hype has gone so they will be lucky to break even at this point because they wanted to pander to people who don't buy games and don't get me wrong diversity is great as long as diversity of thought is at the core, artificially insering people into a time period they were never in looks odd, very odd, if I got a Zulu game (yes please devs) I wouldn't expect to see a random Irishman in the tribe nor some Korean bloke, it looks odd, we game to escape this depressingly bad world not to be reminded of it so every game looks like they took the people of New York 2024 and chucked them into a medieval European game, it is immersion breaking, it can be done but they don't know how yet and because of it games that may have sold well didn't and a lot of people are out of a job just so a megacorp can virtue signal, the execs at these companies don't have to worry about inflation nor tax much as they pass theirs onto us and if anyone thinks the PS6 or next XB will be under £700 is living in cloud cookoo land, buy physical and although early happy Christmas to you all, lets hope we get to the end of 2024 and have peace somewhat in 2025, all these warmongers you, dear reader, going on about war know nothing of it as if they did they wouldn't be so happy to see it and would be the last to sign up for it but they are brave online and online only, all the best and thank you for the guide mate, liked, subscribed and respect from Ireland brother 🙏
