This one needs to be on NASCAR classics, underrated awesome race! 10/10 with drama and hard racing all the way to the finish. At New Hampshire of all places!! And also we need the part of Mikey saying "yeah it was halfway my fault, i agreed to race against him!" In the history books with the helmet throw. That was hilarious
Remember that time NASCAR gave all the drivers a time out in the middle of the race? Lol This was one of those moments I took in as a fan when this was going on live. There was a lot of moments I took in as a fan in the 90's - 2000's. I wish they would go back to the way things use to be. 5 bonus points for leading a lap, 10 for the most laps led. The halfway leader award. Etc. If you want to give the race winner extra points, that's fine by me. But I miss the old days. I'd even settle for the original chase format at this point
I was at this race. It was my 8th birthday. My dad, his friend, and his friends son and I all went. Camped out in the parking lot. I’ll never forget it. Tony was my favorite driver, and he DOMINATED the whole race until the end. Kurt Busch hit the wall right in front of us, and everyone was cussing him out to get the hell of the track! Those were the days!
Man. I Want The Original/OG Chase Format, With The 2004-2006 10 Driver/2004/2013 10 Chase Race Format Back, And I Take The Chase, OVER The Playoffs Elimination Format.
What made Kurt's early wreck all the more surprising is that it was at a track he had a good resume: won both races in 2004, finished 2nd to Tony Stewart in the July race, and he had absolutely dominated at Richmond the prior week
Lol it's sad because it's all about popularity. Dale Jr only got $10,000 for saying "shit" don't get me wrong I hate Robby and Love Jr but still doesn't seem right
One too many angry drivers in this race. Robby Gordon's helmet toss wasn't the only one. Dale Jarrett: 1993, Robby Gordon: 2005, and finally Tony Stewart: 2012 or 2013. Things sure got out of hand that day.
Hey Dave W Do You Have Anymore Daytona Speedweeks Coverage (Including Trackside And Totally NASCAR And NASCAR This Morning/Victory Lane) on FOX FX And SPEED Channel From 2003 Especially The Bud Shootout Practice From That Friday Before The Shootout And Rain Delay Sunday Coverage Of 2003 Daytona 500 Qualifying?
Both Robby Gordon and Ward Burton are very Childish and Immature with the way how they behave when they got Pissed with Ward Burton Throwing Shit at Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s Car and with Robby Gordon Throwing hi Damn Helmet at Michael Waltrip's Car
The production of this race is legendary. Today’s broadcasters need to take notes

The announcers are going to apologize for robby Gordon language
2:09:40 - We need the get one, no ones going home to the get one!!!
Underrated race. All this at New Hampshire of all places.
1:54:09 The Only Time I can Recall Benny Parsons ever losing his cool on air.
Championship #2 eluded Rusty for so long. And here he was in his last full season right there in the thick of it. Legend.

Those two top finishers would end up being teammates in four years.
The greatest NASCAR race, imo.
I was watching it while editing it some and thinking to myself.. man this was a good time in NASCAR.
We didn’t know how good we had it
The greatest race in NASCAR period? Or just at NH?
You definitely could make a case!!
2:15:26 - That’ll cost ya $35,000

@@MrMaster5555 Robbie Gordon got the same fine for saying what he said on live TV. He was fined $25,000 for throwing his helmet at Michael Waltrip
It cost him a sponsor, too.
@@drivedb7wait really? Which sponsor revoked their relationship with Robby?

This was Ryan Newman's final win until the 2008 Daytona 500
2:15:06 Robby Gordon says Shit
After this is The 1993 Movie Demolition Man
I love Robbie Gordon lmao
How did you get those closed captions? Did you type everything out yourself? Big thanks!
Yes! You're welcome!
