For mama Murphy, stimpacks count as chems I believe. So starting with 2 big heals that she can use on or pass on to others isn't too shabby
Huh...I hadn't thought of that! Technically you're right - stimpaks are chems! It wouldn't give you the extra foresight points for having an active chem, but you could buy some others to still benefit from that effect and get the two stimpaks for free. Smart thinking!

Mama Murphy is a great model for a survivors army. I played with her a few times and her predictions are such an advantage! Just be sure to keep her in the back and in cover (or even out of any enemy's LoS) and give her chems that grant quick actions so she can escape easier.
Makes sense, she's a non-combatant for sure! Her foresight rules are so wild, nothing else like her in the game really at this point!
I think you should have talked a bit about Powerarmor because units like the Sole Survivor, Preston and Sturges become realy strong meele units in Powerarmor as they use Str. for meele attacks and get the Str.7+ extra black dice.

Where does the Vault-Tec security say what the Baton ability does? I see it on the card, but not that it adds two additional to hit? Great work all around, man. I'm excited for these.
Great question! Any “specialty” grants a +2 to skill checks with the listed weapon. Can’t remember what page of the rule book it’s on off the top of my head. A handful of units have these specialties with different weapons (Sturges and the .44, Hammer and the Super Sledge, Preston and the Laser Musket, etc.)
@@WarGamesNewsRadio I've looked it up several times now and did not find it in the rule book. As far as I know, it's in the rpg rule book.
Found it! Pg. 10, on the very bottom.
"Some models have abilities called Specialities. A model which has a Speciality recieves +2 on any Skill Values when using the relevant item or skill"

Nice recap, can't wait for more! Got the app, and went for a random 500 cap survivor force, got Heroic Piper, Free Tech, Settler, Scavenger, Sole Survior Tech, EyeBot, and a sniper. The team seems really balanced, each has a cheap melee and ranged attack, but that is about it. What are your thoughts?
Sounds like a very objective-focused crew! Not much for melee fighters, so I'd try and stay away from close combat unless your SS tech in in power armour. Heroic piper is interesting - if it were me I'd probably move the heroic card onto the SS tech to maximize either objective or combat actions
I know double commenting, but I was wondering if there would be a scifi / horror faction with mannequins, tendril beast, Doctor Who's Tardis, The Space Baby portal, and even 76's confirmed cryptids as 1 named set, and "rumored" 76 cryptids as rank and file with rules that change if you put down the good guy "Wise MothMan" or any named villain.
@@allenforbes8108 that would be very cool! We'll see if / when 76 stuff gets added into the game. There's been a few rumors, but no set release dates or confirmed units
My enclave troops crush them with hellfire flamethrowers vs settlers faction.
Fun fact: Veronica in T-51 with any type of quality melee weapon (I generally use a Shish-Kebab until I can get my hands on a proper proxy for a Power-Fist) hits like a TRUCK, and due to the power armor, can activate scribe counter much more consistently
Hey Ryan! Thanks for the video! On 8:15 The Vault-Tec security officer with a Baton Specialty adds 2 points to his melee skill when using a baton. Why 2? Is there any rule for Specialty to see how it adds to a skill.
Found it at rules book, page 10. +2. Do you know the answer if it reads "Does carry" (weapons etc) for a unit? Does it mean it comes for free?
The Specialty rule is kind of hidden, but you found it! "Does Carry" is for battle mode, and means that the unit gets the item for free (just like items listed as 'Equipped" on a unit card). Battle mode is in a bit of a state right now as it's being reworked, so it's not currently a 100% complete competitive rule set

hi does the minuteman ability work on Preston and Ronnie? does Preston's +1 health ability work on Ronnie
A bit tricky with these, but short answer to both questions is sadly "no." The Minuteman unit only gives their 2-for-1 activations and +2 to hit to other Minuteman units (not the faction keyword). Same with Preston's +1 HP, it is only for the Minuteman unit (and not the faction keyword, so no extra HP for ronnie).
Kinda missing power armors at this list T-45 and T-51b to be more specific
You're not wrong, but I do have power armour break-downs in my BoS and Enclave reviews! I have a full PA specific video coming soon, because an armour breakdown in every faction video is a serious time sink

Has the survivor reference card been updated by modiphius? I see the update in the errata but on the reference card sheet on their site and the FoWW app it's still showing the old info about the +1 armor going to unnamed survivors
It hasn't been updated, but it's on their radar for the next errata after it was pointed out to the dev team a few months back

for me its one of the weakest factions..no good non unique close combat chars. vault dweller for example...cheap as hell but such a low to hit chance and with only 4 hp...dead in one attack with a SM or someone in PA... CC have a big advantage vs ranged Combat..always faster so the shooter never cant get away...ranged cant support in a CC fight( except preston or pay extra for equipment) beside my opinion on that faction....your Vids are the best..
True true! CC is lacking in the Survivors for non-uniques. They've got decent shooters, but are very vulnerable to a melee blitz from swarm factions.
@@WarGamesNewsRadio but thats a Game system Problem as CC is so much stronger than Ranged combat(faster Movement, More possible Dmg ( love PA with a jagged Powerfist..you can get 11dmg at max)...only Ranged Faction that can counter that are the native stealthboy Institute ( especially vs dumb Super Mutants)
