In this 4-5 minutes he gave a good pass to Gravenberch who was not able to cross it into the center... he made several tackling runs, recovering together with Elliot and he gave a good pass to McAllister who was not able to handle the ball. West Ham turned with counter attack from it which has been ended with a yellow for McAllister...
Szoboszlai did not make any mistakes in this 4-5 minutes, but several recovery attempts and good passes. And he evaluated with 5... WTF... this Craig guy is just simple idiot...
Craig is a joke at this stage regarding these ratings. But he doesn't care because we're still here watching the video and ads so the money still rolls in.

Man , if Szobo played like Elliot and Macca today , then Craig would've given him a 2. His hate for Szobo is getting ridiculous at this point. Szobo plays one bad pass , Craig remembers it. Macca and Elliot play 5-6 disgustingly horrible passes , not even a mention.

Macca has been exhausted and slow in the last couple of games, Elliott has been making the same mistakes for 3-4 matches in a row that Szobo was crucified for earlier. Still, none of them are criticized the way Szoboszlai was, which is totally unfair.
However I reckon it has to do with the fact that Szobo started so strong that expectations became sky high when it comes to him. He's shown how he can shoot screamers, the passion and workrate he has, and people expected him to shine every game. I'm not sure if Klopp started asking him to play a little bit differently, or team mates thought he needed to be knocked down from a high horse a bit, but on the pitch, communication and cooperation between him and his team mates deteriorated after a while. He was still working hard, running his heart out to pick up good positions but he never seemed to receive the balls from Salah or even TAA on the right side. I think he then became a bit frustrated, lost a bit of confidence, and it was a vicious circle he never seemed to get out of afterwards.
Bear in mind, I still think he was playing much better than people gave him credit for in those times he was criticized a lot (for like bad passes). He still had 3-4 key passes a game, was pressing relentlessly, he was all over the pitch, defending to cover for Trent, then dashing up front just to not receive the ball again. It must have been so disheartening.
People, you've seen what he can do. He's a gem, and if he's given an opportunity to have more creative freedom on the pitch, he'll be absolutely amazing.
I feel like we've already seen the best of Macca, not much potential to grow some more. Elliott is still young, but he's more of a hard worker than an actual top talent.

Craig, you are totally wrong about Virgil. How was he at fault on both of those goals? Quansah lost his position on Antonio's goal and the first goal, Gravenberch was covering Bowden and didn't jump with him. The one thing I will say about Virgil is that he's nonchalant at times. He can't cover for every mistake that the rest of the lads make. We've been losing the ball in the midfield a lot lately and it puts the pressure on the back four. I really don't get your opinion on Virg lately. I'm not saying he's been brilliant this past month because he hasn't been, but if you've noticed in these past few games, all of the opposition goals have come from the right side, not Virgil's side.
Gakpo who were very slow all game got 7. Darwin got 4 for playing 10 minutes and didnt had the chace to do nothing. Not fair Craig. Hate towards Nunez is not justified. He have better rating than all of liverpool strikers including Bobby. That boy need more respect from us. really now. Hard wto work with Liverpool fans. Most clueless fans out there. Szobo did not start today. He came on in added time at the end of the match, when Klopp tried to through the kitchen sink at WH, so rating him for a couple of minutes on the pitch has not make really sense.
I believe, none of these players forgot how to play football. It is all about what has been happening behind the scenes.
Klopp has been thinking about leaving since last summer. He announced it to the club in November and sort of dropped tools. I believe since then Pep has been coaching the team and it's been visible on the results. Then Klopp announced his leaving in late January. For a couple of weeks it was still OK until Edwards and Co was appointed.
I think that was the point when thinks started to go south. I guess, senior players (like Salah and Ali, probably VVD and Robo, too) were told about their non-existent future at the club. We are around March-early April at this point. Then Ali's house go on sale and Salah with VVD forget how to play football. Plus it has a major impact on the dressing room which boils down to these results in April. I mean, the whole team had been falling apart.
I cannot say with confidence it was the case, but nothing else makes sense really.
Soon it will be clear and I think, more players are going to leave the club at the end of the season than anybody expected.
Plenty of players have already checked out.
McAlister sold 2 balls, Elliott sold 1 ball! They could have scored goals for us from each of those. Sobo, you are to blame for this as well.

Gakpo 7 and he lost the Mark in the first goal, and the goal in favor he through it away, Szoboszlai only had to make the last center and he didn’t and gets a 5, and Nunez in that went for the balls and almost receive nothing gets a 4, you better get for ping pong than for football
luis diaz the best qualified on all platforms, assistance, bad luck for the shot at the post, he generated more than 7 plays to define, every time he had the ball it gave the feeling that something would happen, the best player on the field today was substituted again, things that have no explanation

We Hungarians know Dom. He is a real team player, the interest of the team is much more important to him than his individual interest. He, on the other hand, did not get anything back from his teammates, everyone plays for themselves. This is why he lost his faith, and he is waiting for that to change.

Craig, I preferred your team selection to Klopp's. Elliott is not a forward - his shooting is nearly always long range and mostly misses. His greatest virtue is his relentless pressing. Also, Gakpo seems far better on the left than in the middle.

Klopp did wonders with this team but yet again our transfer window wasn't great and it has caught up to us again 😡
Think we 100% need a new DM to sit alongside MacAllister in a 2 man midfield to give us some control again. This 3 man midfield isn't doing it anymore because it usually leaves Endo completely isolated in the 6 with the other two mids either too wide or too far up the pitch and Endo hasnt got the legs for it and as a result its putting pressure on our back 4. Dont think Endo's good enough on the ball to be a starter in next seasons midfield.
There is a big problem with the team where Salah wants to go to Klopp.
Start blaming the forwards who aren't scoring goals. They're the reason that were in the position we currently occupy. All the pressure is on the defence because our goals have dried up. Mo Salah is going through the motions now because he knows he's out of here at the end of the season and that's disgusting to see. Giving up on your club, giving up on your manager...... bench him for the last 3 games. I'm so disappointed in him and Darwin. Get rid of both of them.

Weat Ham got bossed in the second half amd then had 2 minutes of pressure amd possession in our half. They scored.

At no point in that phase did you see any defensive shape or desire to get people back and get numbers in there to sort it out.

The players have given up on Klopp. A lot of them shouldn't be wearing LFC shirts next year, but knowing FSG we would be lucky to get 1-2 new players.

Weird take in the pre-match regarding Allisons prospective captainship under Slot. Having the keeper as a captain is a clear sign that no one outfield player is more important than the other, and that’s an honest evaluation of this Liverpool side.

I think Salah was maybe frustrated at the Boss coming on earlier. I was shouting at the screen shouting for changes. After we got the second goal we dropped off. I don't agree about Diaz, he had one on one and should have scored, he just messes around too much. I wanted him and Gakpo off. I wanted Salah on and Nunez for what he was worth! I agree Endo was good and should of stayed on. I thought Virgil was ok today. I felt Diaz, Gakpo and Elliot were terrible. Mac Allister to me was a 7.
