Cody Gakpo has better stats even when he's not being played in his favorite position on the left most of this season with 15 goals 6 assists vs Luis Diaz who only starts on the left has 13 goals 5 assists
Half the time you say you're predicting Klopps team and the other half it's down to your opinion between certain players. I'd rather just see your opinion tbh
it’s all good saying elliott should’ve played more but then u look at the reason why. It’s like saying foden should’ve played more in recent seasons even tho he wasn’t better than sterling, kdb or mahrez in those 3 positions he can play in. Elliott for me can only play RW or RCM but he’s not starting over salah often cus salah plays nearly every game then RCM was doms position for the first half of the season then since we’ve tried a few players including harvey and none have been amazing. I think harvey was given plenty of chances to impress in both positions but wasn’t at a top level but he’s still young and a great asset
spot on. People just lose perspective and have short-term memories, so good to remind them WHY Elliott did not play more.
@@donvaskez416 exactly, in my head quansah should play every game cus he’s young and has world class potential but then konate comes into the conversation and when konate is on form he is already world class. Could say the same for trent aswell, as good as a player is u have to look at their competition, ederson doesn’t start for brazil ffs😭
I would love to see Klopp give some of youth academy lads a run out doing these final 2 games to go. Since 3rd place is pretty much where we'll end up, when season is done.

Cody Gakpo playing most games out of his favorite position on the left even a thew games in midfield 15 goals 6 assists this season all comps vs Luis Diaz who only starts and plays on the left 13 goals 5 assists all comps
We have too many no. 10's ...szoboszlai, Elliott, mac allister, Jones, gakpo, Thiago... and with a 4-3-3 formation that has a holding midfielder and two center mids it will be hard for a lot of players in the world to play their best football even when they start slightly out of position. Perhaps we should've just forgot about playing a holding midfielder and play two center mids and a no. 10... which means sometimes we play a diamond up front with the no. 10, be it mac allister, Elliott, szoboszlai, Jones, gakpo or even Thiago although he's injured this season and is leaving next season, even gravenberch could've played there. We should've went all out attack and play without a dm

Except that doesn't work with also playing attacking fullbacks. That's why we are so exposed all the time. In the past we just had a workhorse midfield that covered for Trent and Robbo. We need at least 3 of the back 4 to be mostly quite defensive. That's what City and Arsenal do.
For those- i think Szoboszali is the best! But Klopp cant use him well

i feel like at this stage in the season we have to just play players we’re unsure about for next season, there’s no point playing players we know are guaranteed starters next season. Start a couple for security like endo, trent and van dijk other than that i’d play szobozlai, gravenberch, nunez and salah just to see where they’re at cus they’re all players who have been up and down in form or question marks for next season. These last 2 games if any of them play very well or very poorly it could be a deciding factor in their future.

Your prediction is sound. However, Liverpool has proven, time and again throughout the season, that it is the biggest house of disappointment. I agree with your 3-2 win prediction for Liverpool, but I won't be surprised by any means if they lose the game outright.

Who cares what team goes out there season is over and any performances that are good is to late where were these performances the last month when it matters
I've forgotten where I read this (the Echo?) or who the speaker was, but someone who had previous connections with Liverpool and now with the Bundesliga. He was sure that Endo would play well in the PL after time to adjust to the pace, but was very surprised by Szo's quick start, and thinks that what we're seeing now is the real Szo.
If that's right, it's not good, because it means two expensive transfers (S. and Nunez) are badly flawed. I think Nunez has many good qualities but a striker who can't hit the net 2 seasons in a row is a problem.

Funny this. Vila can't win tomorrow, and Spurs can't win on Tuesday, so they'll hopefully remain like they are now, and that will be that. For that to happen, we should win. So should Man City.
As for your XI, Craig, all good but for me, Endo, Mac Allister AND Elliott deserve to play, so too do Salah and Gakpo. With that, I'd have Endo, Max Allister and Szob, with Elliot, Gakpo and Salah. I find Elliott can come down harder on his left from the left more than from the right. Gakpo works more for goal than Nunez right now, and Salah speaks for himself.
I like Dann and would like for him to come on somewhere around the 65th min.
