I have friends aiming 400kw with 2.8 vr6, many ppl told em its easier with 3.2 not 2.8. They went with the 2.8 first saw it wont work then bought 3.2. So they could save 5k€ if they went 3.2t from the start

I drive my 550bhp mkv R32T daily. It feels illegal to have this much speed and control on the streets! Best car I've ever owned by a landslide! Built the engine myself. Biggest mechanical achievement of my life. I shoot 2 foot flames and scare the living souls out of my passengers😭😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣👍🏾!
YES RICKY! Proper motor, one of the best sounding 6 bangers in my opinion. The Konig's aren't the best over long journeys, RS4 wingbacks are a lovely upgrade.

Infamouz I'd have said that it then makes the mk4 & 5 a little more special etc but there's at least another 4 mk5's round my town and I do see a few mk4's, but the car I don't see much is the mk6 Golf R... And owning a golf you always look at other vdubs, well, I can speak for all the gt, gti (and so-forth) owners.
Infamouz i’ve got a friend with a mk7R,when we’re both driving around the mk4 gets more looks from the public. Crazy fast and an incredible car for the money but it can’t beat the VR Noise 👌
This is the car that made me a petrol head as a kid... my dad bought one brand new in 2004... and ever since then, I’ve been in love with speed and cars, real soft spot for these... at 22 I bought a new S3 which to me was my R32... now I drive a VW T6. VW FOR LIFE.
Old school vw/Audi 6 cylinders are so underrated particularly those with force induction and sleeper looks... started my driving life with a mk4 golf 1.4, when I saw the r32 it was like love at first sight. Brilliant review, pure nostalgia 👍

I had an un-modified MK4 R32 and can say in all honesty I got pumped by an ep3 civic type r. Who knows if it was standard but it started pulling away at 140+ That being said, the drama and theatre you experience driving an R32 is unparalleled in hatchbacks. Even the focus RS or S3 Audi’s fall short on that engine. It was an engineering unicorn. I will have another and it will be charged induction
If its charged you got me. I just love that noise. Dont care you cant grt thr power out of em you can a turbo. Love my r53 because it just sounds mega when your nailing it. Cant beat that noise

Mk 4 was such a legendary shape. Loved the ring lights on the back of the Mk 5 too.
Mk 7 is pretty nice too. The Mk 8 is a mistake.

Jazz cabbage many small things, weight, better seats as standard, better rear diff, outside is a 32. Not just a badge swap, and manual only..
it's the only R golf that looks special. all the rest mk5,6,7 try to be discreet and subtle. mk4 is just in your face.
