When I started getting the depo shot is when my skin went downhill. Breakout after breakout and the only thing that’s helped with clear skin is benzyl peroxide left on my face for 5 mins! Got that advice from dr shereene idress on yt
I have dry and sensitive skin and the only thing that helped my hormonal acne was not treating it lol. I stopped using aha’s and bha’s and incorporated niacinamide and more moisturizing products. Using SPF everyday helped as well. I use Aestura barrier cream and my skin has never been healthier. Now I get pimples here and there but they’re gone in a 1-2 days. 3 days tops. I sheet mask 3 times a week, use face mask and exfoliate twice a week with good molecules powder which has no acids. Took me years to figure it out. Hope you find what works for you!!
If you're able, see a dermatologist. I was having no luck on my own, saw a dermatologist, put on spironolactone and my hormonal acne is soooo much better. It can take several months to see the most difference but be patient. You CAN NOT get pregnant while taking it, though. It would be very harmful for baby, but I'm done with babies, so not an issue.
use the la roche cleanser but the gentle hydrating one and use the salicylic acid cleanser at night only 2 times a week and the rest of the days use the morning cleanser. n follow the rest of the steps but start w retinol only once a week then build up to twice and max use it three times a week. I'd just add to use a micellar water to remove the sunscreen at night before the cleanser and get a moisturizer that is for dry skin.
I am 50, I don’t have acne or scars, but enjoy bathing with the Cerave Acne Wash. It makes the overall appearance or my skin better. I find the Cerave Acne Wash a bit better than the Body Wash
I can vouch for the Cerave cream to foam cleaner works like a charm and doesn’t strip your skin. The Neutrogena Daily Facial Moisturizer doesn’t disappoint either. Glides on smooth, doesn’t pill, and leaves the skin so soft. I like to apply it at night after Tret & in the morning ur skin is baby soft. 😁
The cerave sunscreen was so awful for me and I am absolutely never buying it again because it pilled the second I applied it unless I used serums underneath so I don’t think it applied evenly on my skin and it left a horrible white cast (I am pale white so if you have darker skin you will look like a ghost)
If you can get a prescription with 15 % Azelaic acids. If you can't get a prescription then you will have to use the 10 % over counter , Also use kojic acid And sunscreen over 30 in the days best if physical but if the physical leaves a white cast then use the chemical . But if you can see a demotolgist go see one .. or check other dermatologist websites😢
Can you do a video, if you haven't, showing how? My 13 keeps frying his skin using too much and of course, mum knows nothing when I say only a pea size, and not a snow pea!
i had the roche posay one but for some reason it didn't make it better, it jus honestly made it worse, do you know why that is, is it because of my skin type or something else?
I have dry ass skin and still had terrible acne as a teenager. Im now an adult, and still can’t get away from hormonal acne to save my life.

A endocrinologist can help better with hormonal acne. After using spironolactone for a few years , I stopped it and don’t have it anymore.
