    I have tried many holsters, but i really like Tier 1. Only issue was a pressure point when carrying my Glock 19 axis holster, but this will definitely help. As it goes for my Sig P365 with the axis holster, i forget it is there. One thing I find disappointing, is now I see you have release the elite series, so I guess I will have to go get one those now for no reason other than I want one and to support your great company. Ayuh, really happy to see you release the wedge pack.
    I made a foam wedge (2 separate pieces) for my EDC AXIS slim.
    It made a very noticeable difference in comfort and concealment.
    You have a very different look with the new AXIS Elite. I am very
    interested in seeing/hearing feedback on how it performs compared
    to the original. Also, will you be making an AGIS Elite???
    I own both AXIS and AGIS holsters. The AXIS is a bit smaller than the
    AGIS but, I believe for me the AGIS is a bit more comfortable because
    of it's ability to flex a bit more freely. I will definitely be watching and
    listening to comments and feedback very closely.
    Thanks again for putting out a very high quality holster that is making
    my EDC very easy to wear.
    Keep yourselves safe!

    Common sizes for different guns would be interesting. I ended up using the small for my P320 and a medium on my Glock 48. I don’t know if it’s just my body type but the large and extra large seem like they add more pressure than they relieve and all help with printing but the bigger sizes definitely add a bulge to the waist.

    Have you guys tested installing a wedge on the magazine side as well as the gun side? I have a standard AGIS for my M&P 2.0 Compact and find that the magazine is equally, if not more, of an issue with needing to be angled into my body. Was curious if just having the wedge on the gun side would also help the mag or if applying a second wedge would work magic. I should be placing an order for the kit this week and will experiment either way 😉

    I have an Axis Elite for my Glock 19 Gen5 mos with a Holosun 507C and Streamlight TLR8AG. I’m about 5’10ish and I’m a bit heavier due to COVID-19 complacency so I’m about 238 lbs-ish. I ordered and got the 2.25” WIDE wedge for the gun side and the regular width wedge for the magazine carrier. Before the wedge(s), the holster where my weapons light is really dug into my inner thigh. I put the wedges on today and it’s a bit more comfortable to me. The adhesive on those wedges will not come loose easily. I got sizes large for both but I think I could have went with a medium

    The foam wedges I'm currently using on my AIWB holster have Velcro on the back that adheres to Velcro permanently affixed to the front of the holster. No gluey mess, and wedges are easy to change and don't move around. Questions: 1. How long do your wedges retain their shape when used for AIWB everyday carry? 2. Is the adhesive backing resistant to heat or will the wedge move around on the holster in hot weather? 3. How hard is it to remove the glue when replacing the wedge.

    • @kevh1272
      @kevh1272 ปีที่แล้ว

      See your smart I was running the medium I said let me switch it up I ripped the wedge off now dealing with how to remove the foam that’s stuck to it…complete nightmare

    • @deadeye4543
      @deadeye4543 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kevh1272 The Tier 1 Wide XL foam wedge I bought over a year ago is still mounted on my Vedder light tuck IWB holster. The wedge still has a lot of loft, and has lasted much better than any another wedge I've tried. To preclude the gooey mess when changing the wedge I came up with the following fix. I glued a piece of Velcro "loop" material to the holster where the wedge would reside. Then I stuck a piece of Velcro "hook" material to the adhesive backing of the wedge. When the time comes to replace the wedge I can do so easily with no gooey mess.

    The wedge pack is so you can try each one and find the one you like.

    Seems difficult to put the holster on with that. You'd have to unbutton or have loose fitting jeans just to get it in place. I bought some but honestly the only pressure point I have is at the top of the gun usually the butt/mag. Most people probably don't need it. I bought it thinking it was vital thing. But in reality it's not needed. But I'm a slimmer guy as well. So there's a caveat.

Thats good though, because it definitely keeps them in place, but switching out wedges is kind of annoying. The best way we have found is to use some sort of adhesive remover, like Goo-Gone or something like that, and a razor blade. Be sure to use caution with the blade, obviously.

    Tired the wedges, very uncomfortable having something jamming into your groin, way more comfortable with no wedge.

    If you have to put a piece of sticky foam bullshit on your holster than you have a design flaw and your product needs to be rethought.

      That's exactly what I was thinking. And how long do these wedges hold their shape before they "squish out" I wonder...

    • @KSTrekker
      @KSTrekker 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The “design flaw” is in body shape - everyone is built different. These holsters will have a completely different fit and feel depending on if you have a 28” waist or a 38” waist.

    seems unnecessary and just a money grab. It puts the gun closer to your body? Isn't that precisely what the wing is for lol?

    • @Tier1Concealed
      @Tier1Concealed  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Some people love them and put them on every holster they own, some people don't need them. The concealment claw (or wing) allows the grip of the gun to hinge into your body on a vertical plane, the wedges allow the entire top half of the gun and holster to hinge into your body on the horizontal plane. They both work well but in different ways.
