Is that enough already? At least now I just watch flosstube while he’s watching! We both like British tv. Have you watched Doc Martin? We love it. Used to watch on PBS but they didn’t carry them all it’s over now but you can still watch. Goes through season 10. We have a friend who won a trip to the adorable seaside English town where it was filmed. She was in a very tiny part of the show. She said the cast and people living there were so friendly. It was such fun to hear about it. TH-cam has been showing things about it. Worth watching the whole season. Start with season 1. That Peter Rabbit stitch with alphabet is so pretty. I love children’s books. I sent your daughter a few children’s books a number of years ago. One was, I think, about Amish children and egg that hatched to a peacock. Can’t think of name but by Patricia Polacco. Love her books! You both have great quilts you’re working toward too! 📗📗📗🌸🌸

Bonnie Hunter calls it webbing your quilt top. I have done it with blocks and love it, but do not enjoy it with a big quilt top. I did my oldest daughter's nursery in Beatrix Potter. We had a quilt, crib bumper, curtains; she had a stuffed Mrs. Tiggy Winkle; we found the entire set of books in the original format and she has Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny ornaments for the Christmas tree. I too dislike closed captioning but my husband has to have his dialogue for any show or movie. I thought that was hilarious. I loved everything you ladies showed. Silent watcher for awhile but I’m getting into cross stitch and love the inspiration. Tfs. 💐
It drove me crazy at first too but it’s nearly impossible without for us now 😂. We also used to have the volume super low because Evie was such a light sleeper so if we wanted to know what was going on it was necessary 😂. Welcome to cross stitching! 🥰

The little Peter Rabbit sampler is so cute. On the birthday month dolls….I got my daughter a figurine each year, the doll is holding the number, for her birthday. Unfortunately, they currently are packed away. Thanks for sharing all your craft projects, it gives me inspiration. Happy stitching

Love watching your videos. I also recently rescued a similar "Home Sweet Home," crossstitch from a thrift store in NJ. It was framed by Kent Studios in Woodtyn, PA. Amazingly, it still had the hardware attached and was never hung. It cost less than $10 🤷♀️ 😳🙂
Oh my goodness your post today was wonderful. I collect the little dolls too. Here in Florida you can pick them up pretty inexpensive. They are made by Lefton and I love every one of them. I have Miss Tiggy Winkle and the Jamimaha Puddle Duck. And a few others. Those are expensive! Ok we move on to British TV Shetland was wonderful, Father Brown, Brit Box is pretty much all we watch. There is something about the British humor and there mysteries that are so different then we have. Heather you are right those drug commercials are awful. We live in a retirement community so my husband gets up at 5:00 AM to go drink coffee with the guys. It’s really a gossip club but I get up then too. That is when I do my morning stitch. I drink my first cup then pick up my stitching and work until 7:00 then I wrap it up and start my day. I love sitting in my 😊stitchy chair and watch people walks there dogs. I don’t walk my Buddy until about ten. so glad you guys are back! Missed Evie today though. Suzan
Your collection sounds wonderful! Our little antique mall had these for very reasonable prices but not reasonable enough for me to buy one without specific plans. I always get joy out of finding those treasures for a good price! We LOVE British tv. My mom started me young with Detective Lynley and Midsommer Murders. My husband and I do darker shows like Happy Valley and Line of Duty too. So glad you are enjoying our videos! I wish I needed less sleep so I could get up ahead of Evie but I wouldn’t be very pleasant then 😂

Mom made stuffed bunnies too for craft fairs! With seasonal outfits. And the blush on their cheeks. We were just saying that we were sad she got rid of her patterns because I think it would be so fun to use them to make cute ones that are more modern for Evie!

I love veronique enginger, I have the Christmas book, and it's stunning. I don't know about in the states but, here in the uk, it's hard to get hold of her patterns and books. It's totally worth the hunt .
We are lucky enough to be able to grab them from Amazon or even Barnes and Noble if she has books like this out. Any of her French publications are nearly impossible to find. We can order from the French Needle to get some of her patterns but they are typically a bit pricey. But sometimes we’ll worth it!

Oh girl I know how you are feeling about your kitchen! We paid $10,000. to our contractor and he took off,nothing passed except the electrical my son in law did. Hi Cindy!! I ordered barefoot trees through Grow Organic. I got a Pluot and a Plueery. That’s a plum and apricot combo and a plum and cherry combo. Be warned, they are a major deer magnet on my yard! They basically sheer them back at the size they are. They had the most beautiful blooms last spring! Can’t wait to see them bloom this year and I might even put in effort to keep them from the critters 😂

Ask any questions you want!! The yarn is a loops and threads brand yarn from Michaels. I am pretty sure it is their store brand. I dont remember the color name. It is just one of their blended colors in a somewhat chunky yarn. It was a 5 wt I believe

How did the problem with your kitchen play out? Did you pay the full amount or did you hold back anything for the fact that they did such a lousy job? Could you take them to small claims court? That's so sad that they screwed up your kitchen, Jeanette! As I recall, when we had ours remodeled we didn't pay them the full amount up front. I think there was a 10% deposit and then payments were made along the way of the remodel. Just curious. Sorry that happened to you.
We had to pay out full amount before they were delivered. It has been a nightmare but I am just moving on. Its just a kitchen right? Ugh. Its taken awhile to get to this point but trying to focus on the good parts. My countertops are awesome!😂😂😂 It will be all good in the end. It has taken me awhile to figure out solutions to make it look better. Now to just find the time. Thank you for checking with me about it. Its been a process that has not been fun

I have a new granddaughter so I’ve been working on a baby sampler for her. It has a cute little barn and farm animals on it. I have a little ways to go but it’s been fun working on it for her.
So you guys made me get out my big scrap bucket out and I'm sorting fabrics and sizes. That is going to be work. I bet I can get 10 quilts out of that stuff.

Mom made stuffed bunnies too for craft fairs! With seasonal outfits. And the blush on their cheeks. We were just saying that we were sad she got rid of her patterns because I think it would be so fun to use them to make cute ones that are more modern for Evie!
I love your Beatrice Potter, adorable!! The pieces you are stitching for Evie will be so cute in her room, it's great that she loves books. You ladies really find unique things at your Antique store, the stitched is a beautiful piece! I always find it sad when handwork or family photos end up in Antique stores. I'm so happy you are back!
The family photos definitely make me sad, too. The stitching not as much. I guess I think I would rather them go to someone who has an appreciation for them than sitting in an attic or garage somewhere. 🥰

Janet, so sorry to hear about your experience with the kitchen remodel. That is so challenging and I too would have a hard time getting over my anger after paying for a specific job to be done. I love veronique enginger, I have the Christmas book, and it's stunning. I don't know about in the states but, here in the uk, it's hard to get hold of her patterns and books. It's totally worth the hunt .
We are lucky enough to be able to grab them from Amazon or even Barnes and Noble if she has books like this out. Any of her French publications are nearly impossible to find. We can order from the French Needle to get some of her patterns but they are typically a bit pricey. But sometimes we’ll worth it!

Oh girl I know how you are feeling about your kitchen! We paid $10,000. to our contractor and he took off,nothing passed except the electrical my son in law did. Hi Cindy!! I ordered barefoot trees through Grow Organic. I got a Pluot and a Plueery. That’s a plum and apricot combo and a plum and cherry combo. Be warned, they are a major deer magnet on my yard! They basically sheer them back at the size they are. They had the most beautiful blooms last spring! Can’t wait to see them bloom this year and I might even put in effort to keep them from the critters 😂

Ask any questions you want!! The yarn is a loops and threads brand yarn from Michaels. I am pretty sure it is their store brand. I dont remember the color name. It is just one of their blended colors in a somewhat chunky yarn. It was a 5 wt I believe

How did the problem with your kitchen play out? Did you pay the full amount or did you hold back anything for the fact that they did such a lousy job? Could you take them to small claims court? That's so sad that they screwed up your kitchen, Jeanette! As I recall, when we had ours remodeled we didn't pay them the full amount up front. I think there was a 10% deposit and then payments were made along the way of the remodel. Just curious. Sorry that happened to you.
We had to pay out full amount before they were delivered. It has been a nightmare but I am just moving on. Its just a kitchen right? Ugh. Its taken awhile to get to this point but trying to focus on the good parts. My countertops are awesome!😂😂😂 It will be all good in the end. It has taken me awhile to figure out solutions to make it look better. Now to just find the time. Thank you for checking with me about it. Its been a process that has not been fun
