I am very thankful with you for making this videos. You do not know, but make my day better. I am from Ecuador. Hopefully, one day I could visit London.
I was struggling so much between getting a A7c ii or the A6700 but you showed that the Camera is performing super good and is also cheaper. Thanks so much 🙏🏼😊
Curtis, you inspired me and gave me the last push to get this camera and this lens. I'm always looking forward to see if you uploaded any new video using his camera. It feels highly inspiring, relaxing and comforting to watch! If I may, I wonder if you'd find interesting doing a street photography using either your 6400 or 6700, but with a tele lens? Like the one you did for the a7IV, but APS-C :) Take care!
I'm currently deciding between the a6700 and the a7cii and been watching a ton of videos, came across your review and this video of you shooting and I think I'm sold. Looks like you're having a blast and seeing the photo results totally sold it for me. Great pics and love your enthusiasm Thanks and cheers!
i'm about to pull the trigger on buying the A6700 - and the 56mm 1.4 is the lens i'll start with too i think. this video is perfect timing for me...and great shots!
Love these videos and your energy. I have a 6700 (previously 6000/6500) and mostly use the sigma 30/56. I wasn’t brave enough to shoot with higher iso but I’m going to experiment after watching you.
I was planning to get an A7 III, this video made me confused again, the iso performance is astounding, the body is a lot more recent and aps-c lenses cost a fraction compared to full frame ones!
Honestly, if I was looking at those two cameras myself. I'd choose A6700 over A7III. Sony A6700 has the better af , better ergonomics, better video specs and so much more. PLUS as you said lenses are cheaper. The A6700 is a perfect hybrid for photography and video. I really do hope that helps! 🙂
Haven't had time to jump on this video yet. Content with A6700 is taking priority as I only have this camera for a limited time. Haven't forgotten about that video, will be out when it's ready! 👌
This was incredible! its made me feel so much more comfortable pushing my ISO up when i am out and about. yes 100 is great to aim for but jesus the shots you took at 5000 where incredible. a bit of post processing you would never know
Who the heck aims for 100? Nailing your aperture and shutter speed is way more important than getting your ISO right. And the only time you're gonna even get 100 is during the day or long exposures on a tripod at night. The cameras today are so good that you should be comfortable shooting up to 12800. I'd rather have a picture with more noise rather than a picture ruined due to motion blur.
Came for the cameras and stayed for your attitude (added brownie points because you're a manc and it makes me nostalgic AF ha (: ). Don't ever change C, you're one of a kind m8.
Ayyy glad you enjoyed the video dude! Could I ask a question, a Manc? Think that's Manchester, if so there is a number of people who think I'm from Manny. Which I find funny, maybe it's my accent? 🤔 I'm actually a Yorkshire man, well technically born in Lincolnshire but only ever lived there for 2 years haha But do like Manny! Great streets for photos 😁
Jajajajaja What?! No! Manc meaning Mancunian - most of the time your accent brings me back there. I'm Spanish but I've been living up there for a few good years. It's a dear place for me with mostly lovely, warm people (being from Andalucia you kinda miss that when you're away and I got that there) Not to forget that Manchester is in a pretty sweet spot where both Peak district and Lake district are at a stone throw! Soooo many awesome places to explore :_ @@CurtisPadley
Cool shots! Was bummed when I went this last time that I found the Central Cafe and the Central wasn't lit. Was so looking to get my own shot that I see people get and couldn't. Can't wait till I can upgrade to the 6700, already have the sigma 18-50 and love it and is what I used pretty much the whole time on my last trip. About to get the Sigma 30 to use at night as I prefer a little wider than that 56 gives. I do have the Sony 50 1.8 I can use if I want tight.
I’m impressed with the ability of auto focus. Even if my exposure is a noisy mess I use topaz denoise and so giga pixel. So is it better to have perfect Foch and a noisy exposure?
I’m so close to finally buying my first camera, and I’ve been pretty set on the a6400 for awhile mostly because of your videos! But this a6700 is obviously an upgrade, and the pictures are incredible; what would you suggest between the two for a complete beginner?
I’m in the same spot, I’m leaning towards the 6700 because the night preformance looks sick, the only problem is I don’t think I have the funds for a great camera and great lense so I might be stuck with the kit lense for a year

What lenses would you recommend to rival a 50mm and 85mm equivalent? And a 35? I’m seriously thinking of switching from Fuji to Sony (XT5 to A6700). I use the Fuji 56, 33 and 23 (85, 50 and 35 equivalents). What 3 Sony lenses would give me those focal lengths? Am I crazy to think the Sony A6700 could rival the XT5 or would you say it might?

Best thing I ever did was upgrade my A6400 to A6700. A lot of the reviews were negative, but when you use one, you know how amazing it is.

Is it worth the extra 400$ as a beginner/will the absolutely insane autofocus take away from some of the fun of learning photography?
