Addition to fill in gaps in playlist.
Luke is forced into a position to serve Gail and Lee at Kelly's. Lee calls Lesley looking for Laura. Rick, Lesley and Laura have lunch. Luke and Rose talk about lost love.
Easiest to watch these clips right from the playlist. The additions are clearly marked with ADD. (for addition) and are labelled differently (alphabetically). They start on page 6.

The look on Luke's face after Lee told him Scotty agreed to the divorce was priceless! At least now he knows Laura didn't lie.
Laura was always broke, but always had a STELLAR wardrobe along with hair, nails, and makeup. Only in the soaps.
Luke defending Laura even with how angry and hurt he was, shows how much he loves her.
Love how Rick stands when Leslie leaves and comes back to the table...very gentlemanly

Yeah, Gail was far ,more reasonable...I can see Lee wanting to defend his son, but at least hear the man out...he was apologizing for crying out loud!!! I wanted to give Luke a big old hug!!

Lee's reaction here is exactly why he never should have been allowed to represent Laura. The unbelievable thing is that this would have happened in that time. You notice how no one, not even Rick in a previous clip, went after Luke for the rape. Although Laura still says it is rape and Lee, Rick and the Burt are all there, Luke is not arrested and neither Lee or Rick take him to task for it. All they are worried about is the embarassment or what his intentions are. That really is how it was then. It was almost impossible to get anyone to believe a rape happened and if it was acquaintance rape, forget it. I knew of cases that happened on the college campus at parties in frat houses, knew some of the women who were raped, and nothing happened. Nothing. All the blame fell on those women for being drunk or even going to the party. Incredible.
😢Luke is so heartbroken. He still tries to defend Laura to Lee. 😢 I have trouble watching this leading up to the stuck door. I feel awful for Luke. I feel bad for Laura, just not AS bad as I do for Luke.
REally awkward... I felt so badly for Luke... weird I felt nothing for Lee ... Gail was being a mature woman.
Peter Hansen is such a gifted yet underrated character actor. Balancing his professionalism with his devotion and love for his son, Hansen's performance is nuanced and organic. Especially in Kin Shriner's absence, Hansen's "Lee" keeps the "Luke, Laura & Scotty" triangle brimming with tension and fervor. As much as I'm rooting for L&L, you can't help but feel sympathy for Lee during this time. I absolutely love how this especially comes to light when Lee breaks his sobriety (following the Ice Princess caper).
Susan Brown (played Gail Baldwin) died Friday August 31, 2018 at the age of 86 after a battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
My sincerest condolences to her family and to all who knew this amazing woman.

That disease is so devastating. My grandmother passed away from it in 14.

@@cindys5426 I thought a lot of her also. She was a fine actress and I agree, she was very pretty. It’s not hard to believe that she was also a nice person in reality. Seems that way! May she Rest In Peace.
In the spring (before the sailboat seduction) Lee, Gail, Scotty and Laura were having dinner at the Floating Rib and they ran into Rick and Monica on break from their rounds also having dinner.... and when Scotty started lambasting them wasn't Lee the one to tell Scott NOT to be judging others without knowing the situation? Hypocrite.....

She also told him a little bit about the David Hamilton story when she felt like a tramp and then Scotty called her a tramp. He also broke his promise about holding her hand in the station. He gets over the hurt pretty quickly, and then also in the future when she walks in and the guy was dead on the floor on the fireplace that’s when the David Hamilton stuff really comes up. Luke helped her through that I think if she was going to be blamed, for Kurt Wheeler/James Duvall’s murder.
Hi everyone, hope Monday's been good to you all. Things have really changed, now we have no fault divorce. I think Laura was not so lucky, that's why it was so important to find Scotty. It was also before the days of sexual harassment laws, now Luke would be written up for kissing the boss lady's hand. LOL. We are way too PC these days!
Laura had only 2 pairs of shoes? I don't recall that at all. I do remember boots being big during that time...Lesley and Laura both wore them.

Years ago, someone posted a tribute to Lee and Gail...on a website. I swear I almost died laughing. I would hardly call them a lead romantic couple. It just goes to show that there is an appeal for all couples ---even Lee and Gail. LOL!!!
Lee and Gail were a lead romantic couple in their day. The difference back then is that they would focus on older couples. The 70's started to change that with a focus on more younger couples. And of course Luke and Laura smoked them all, not just on this soap, but all the soaps.

Oh guys I just love you so much. We try to stick together on everything we see and hear on GH. Yes we also disagree on other things that happen on GH. ..but the great things are we communicate all the same.
