Addition to fill in gaps in playlist.
This clip is all about Luke's employment with the Q's. Joe trying too hard with Alex. Edward shows Luke his respect (too weird to watch considering their relationshup current day) and asks him to work for the Q's. Luke finds out who the woman from the Docks is to Edward. Alex comes to talk to Luke.
Easiest to watch these clips right from the playlist. The additions are clearly marked with ADD. (for addition) and are labelled differently (alphabetically). They start on page 7.

I thought Alex was another character that could have been an interesting "come and go" addition to the cast over the years.

The only thing I liked about the other Edward was the Lucky and Foster saga. After that though he became a problem, especially covering up the Damian Smith murder and allowing Laura to go to prison for awhile.
David Lewis was the original Edward Quartermaine and played Edward to a hilt! John Ingle played Edward Quartermaine remarkable and will never be forgotten as well as David Lewis
Yes I really liked DL a lot. Didn't really watch much at all during the JE days.But liked him too. I had seen him in other things .Good actor. Sweet man.

Whoa. Edward said Luke is a hero and that he admires him? O.O I've never seen this side of Eddy before. I can't believe how good this is! I had no idea the Ice Princess started out with the Q's! I soooo don't like Alex or where she's headed with Luke. Hey hey hey...isn't Susan Moore Jason's biological mother? Does that mean he's going to be born soon? I'm dying for some Luke and Laura here!

I don't like Alex, and I think its disgusting that Luke kissed her. Didn't see it coming and hope I never see it again. I actually thought she was daydreaming. LOL!!
I hated that kiss too!! The only words that came out of my mouth were.."Eww..Yuck"!! LOL!! :-) :-)
@katjansen13 Yeah.. the current day LUke and Edward relationship is really hard for those of us who know that Edward did respect Luke at one point in time... it's like that all just vanished, there is none of it even underlying any interaction they have in the current day. It makes me nuts! lol But yes, it is so good, and keeps getting better... and yes Susan Moore is Jason's mother... but don't plan on seeing any of that here! Sorry! This is a revolt against general mobsters!
However later in this storyline when he thinks Alex is getting personally involved with Luke, he lets her know that is not acceptable.
Alex was the newer, more improved version of Jennifer and a better actress who didnt flub her lines. Although I liked Jennifer and Lisa Marie very much.

Alex reminds me more of Tracy at this time in GH history.
Jennifer had a softer personality, more likable while Alex & Tracy were more hard core man-eaters. jmo
I liked the Jennifer character better. She had a vulnerability to her that Alex lacks completely. I do not like Alex AT ALL! (Btw, this is my first time watching any of this).
He was way too Nice for that snake....She deserved Tony and what she got with him!.... oh, don't think I mean that... just a little protective of Joey!
Luke is a hero! :) Alan bought the disco? I don't remember that. Oh that's right Frank Smith owned the disco. No wonder Luke doesn't want to go back bad memories. No Luke Kelly's is NOT your future. :) Man I love Luke's smile. :)

It always bothers me on soaps that everyone refers to people by their first and last names. He's Joe. No need to call him Joe Kelly all the time.
I rarely hear people say things like "Luke Spencer was very upset with Laura Baldwin". It seems to be just Luke & Laura for them.
Thats All that we would say was Luke And Laura!! There was know putting Names together. We knew who the Super Couple Was. LUKE AND LAURA!! THEY WAS IT. WOW I WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL. EVERY ONE WOULD RUN HOME JUST TO WATCH GENERAL HOSPITAL .

How old would Edward be in 1980? I'd say by now he's about...what, 100?
David Lewis passed away in 1993. John Ingle took over the role in 1996 and he passed in 2012 which is when Edward Q also passed away. Sad to lose such a great character.
@@terricoleman5495 That's not counting the time Edward was "supposed" to be dead and then came back. I believe his portrait spoke to Lila.
