@@Justicia007 No Laura went to the diner and expressed how sorry she was and told him she loved him, he rejected her and told her not to beg. I wish Laura had just kept away from him and focused on Scorpio. I think he would have treated her a lot better than Luke did over the years.
@user-ib4gw1kt5o Luke made Laura wait and grow up a little before he believed she was ready for a relationship. Luke and Laura had a great love! Scorpio doesn't have the passion of Luke ( he's more of a cool guy), the writers did LnL dirty in the end.

He admitted to even putting pressures on TPTB to not sign Genie Francis to a long term contract. He would only allow them to bring her in for the ratings sweeps on 6-13 week contracts. He knew if she was there full-time the fans would have demanded they be together. Have you noticed that Genie has been on every year since Tony left? She has been awesome too, I just wish they would bring all her kids home.

Well perhaps that is why I didn't have all of this in the first time around! However, it does help to make sense of why Laura is kind of jealous of Alex, why it takes so long for L&L to get back together, and why Alex is kind of clingy with Luke..especially on New Years Eve!
