Winning in basketball is not always about having a super start top 5 player. Detroit Pistons proved us it was possible, and maybe Houston could have a shot by just keeping their young players long enough so they all can develop into a championship team.
The warriors got just as good off a package for Giannis. Kuminga, podz, moody and trace is a legit young core they could trade and it wouldn't impact them too much if its for Giannis.
Everyone has a job to do on and off the court. NBA players are making a lot of money. If you're playing or not, you're still making the big bucks. Winning a championship isn't easy but it feels good for this franchise and organization to finally reach that level of hard work. Everyone makes mistakes and learn from it. Everyone has emotions but it is definitely hard to control your ego in today society.
How about a trade for Giannis for say a package headlined by vanvleet to make the money work, cam who has a ton of upside, and a ton of draft picks. I don’t think another team could beat that package besides okc, but would OKC? Edit-throw in Jabari and someone else from the bucks to sweeten the deal. We don’t give up tari or amen for anything though.
There is no good reason for the Rockets not to pursue Giannis unless the asking price is so high they will have nothing but Giannis if they make the trade (and I don’t think it will be that high). They currently have so much young talent they are sending young, talented players to the G league because there aren’t enough minutes to go around. They can’t keep, and develop, all of their young players and the truth is that this roster can be good enough to become a perennial playoff team but it will never be good enough to win a title. The current roster is what they would have looked like in the nineties without Hakeem Olajuwon - a lot of talented role players but no one to push them over the top.
There's Tate, Jock, Jeff, Holiday and up to three or even four firsts that they'll not need for several years, that's not even touching the main young core up to the 2nd unit. Rockets have more than enough assets to pursue Giannis. Bucks star power will come from the drafts, not much of a choice but to tank.
It's so weird so many of you are like "watched four seconds of the video and stopped" like you're some sort of pro basketball analyst. Sure, it's a short video and a quick take, but @A.M. Hoops does explain the ins and outs of the situation. The video is a lot less hollow than y'all are pretending.
That trade wouldn't even work even if both teams wanted to make that trade happen. Salaries don't match up and with the new CBA a third team would need to be involved. Most likely Houston would have to give up 5-6 player total. Non from their core starters if they wanted this trade to work.
NBA player has a choice to stay or leave that franchise to join a super team or join a team that has potential to compete in the playoffs and reach the championship level.
Rockets 🚀 may indeed thinking about it but if they smart they need to create an Identity like OKC are, like Boston are like Cavs are and the Warriors which are all top seeds go figures. Trading for the aging high salary players is not it. Instead get them during free agency like the Warriors did for KD or no deal. Rockets are 3-5 wins straight for the #1 seed

Every Video without a gambling commercial gets a Like 👍🏻 from me!
lol the bucks ain't trading antetokounmpo. stop with this nonsense.
This guy called Devin Booker a lateral movement 😂
Our reporters said we have no interest in Giannis yesterday. We aren’t going to hemorrhage our team for a guy with 4 years at the most of peak left
You mean, The GOAT, Royal Ivey.
*Stop the cap*
The Rockets already have insiders come out and say they aren’t interested in trading for Giannis. AND that the two untouchable players are Tari Eason and Amen Thompson
As a rocket's fan. I wouldn't give up the young core and assets for giannis. He's gonna be like bron and kd and force trades. I don't think the rocket's are winning a chip anytime soon. But I read continue improving just like how Boston kept believing in JT and JB. Giannis is already continuously injuired towards playoffs these past seasons
As a rockets fan i feel like alpi and giannis would be a terrible fit next to each other so I honestly wouldn't mind him in the trade if it means we don't have to give up as many picks/other young players. Or alpi could always get traded to a 3rd team etc but he's very valuable so its tricky
Winning in basketball is not always about having a super start top 5 player. Detroit Pistons proved us it was possible, and maybe Houston could have a shot by just keeping their young players long enough so they all can develop into a championship team.
book to pels. Giannis to suns. bucks future and some more from suns. kinda makes sense
You think Paulo and Cade have a top 5 ceiling?
Paulo was playing like at least a top 10 player before he got injured
Imagine Paulo on the rockets would love that
Paused at 0 seconds to say no they are not. They literally said they are not. Next video chop chop
Pacers will give you Pascal and Nembhard a pick and pick swap. Instead of 5 more 1sts. We will give 3 2nds. 😮
Can’t trade Jalen til the off season since he signed the extension.
6:10 Wtf is Steven Adams doing on their huddle hahahaha!
Houston has Reed Sheppard, definitely elite potential
The Rockets are just a team from rural Houston.
Haters everywhere...
rockets own ur team.

The way the rockets play is "swarm the boards" they need a strong rebounder and KD is too old for Udoka's system.
The eastern conference is so bad this year that the bucks are going to be in playoffs. It's really possible that bucks even reach 5th or 6th seed.
I can't believe there are Rockets fans who wouldn't do this trade in an instant. Top 5 players in the world, in their prime, don't grow on trees
Rockets are 3-5 wins straight for the #1 seed
bro someone's gotta talk abt KAT, him and brunson are on track to be the first 25 ppg guard/big duo since kobe and Shaq
