Father please be with her and ease her pain, I pray that you would take away this disease and help her. We believe in you father and your healing.

I think it's great that you're opening up like this on TH-cam. It's exactly what people need to see to find out more about life with chronic illnesses!
I've had a channel for a while now, but I've only just felt brave enough to do a video about my life with UC, I'd really appreciate if you went and had a look. Thank you xxx

I'm excited to see more of your vlogs! :) I started my own channel to spread awareness for the conditions I'm dealing with but then I like to vlog or just make fun videos occasionally too so people who watch can see both the bad times and the good. Just to show there is more to me than just my illness and that it doesn't take everything away from me. I'd like to vlog more than I do but sometimes it's hard like how you said, just doing something is a task itself sometimes lol.
I hope the new medication helps you once you become approved! Good luck with everything. :)

Chronically Hopeful Yeah, it's definitely a challenge to just make my regular videos that I do, but I think that casual vlogs would help show real life things in action lol :P That's great that you do videos too, it's great to connect with others! :) Thank you, I hope this all goes well. *HUGS!

#HugATH-camr: I feel for you. I agree that dealing with insurance companies can be frustrating at times. I have heard about some people participating in research, because that's the only way they can get the medicine they need. I hope that things will work out for you. Take care. *hugs*

    Kelly,
I also have had to ride the insurance company merry go round. I get letters all the time about choosing a new PPO plan or my medication needs to switch to a generic they don't cover the brand name drugs. Sometimes that's fine. But not all generic drugs are created equal they are similar meds but not exactly identical. Sometime to me it makes a difference if brand is working than to have to change meds only to find out they aren't working right, of course I feel awful not sure why. My doctor says my blood work shows my medication level is to low. Yep the genetic med isn't going it job. I pay both ways I had to purchase pills I didn't want and now they aren't working. I get switched back to the brand pay again then my dr. has to send letters demanding the correct medication for me. Usually that takes care of the problem with the insurance co. I'm mean while feel worse laying in bed it tears & in pain I can't sleep and I still have a 3 month supply of meds that is wasted, I don't get refunded on the inferior meds. I can't donate it to someone who needs it, So the pharmacy collects unuse, expired or recalled meds to be destroyed by the DEA. Its just such a unnecessary waste to me. Especially a financial waste to the chronically ill community we have the least money to waste. It means one less meal or more for the month. I won't start about the useless letters, forms receipts and printed booklets that waste paper which = less trees to keep us breathing clean air.

I dont know if you will read this, or respond...but have you ever tried Lialda?

TheLillyQueen No I haven't tried that yet. What is it used for?

Kelly Patricia It was a game changer for me. Literally had a huge relief in 2 days of taking it. It helps reduce inflammation in the intestines. Its worth a try if your doctor can get samples, I've heard its quite expensive. My AMAZING gastro gave me samples of it and I only use it during a flare up to help calm my system back down.
I know our bodies are all different - but it helped me - and if you havent tried it, and your doctor will let you try some, its worth a shot. I only suggest taking it at night (I got some terrible headaches when I used it during the day)
