    Thank you so much for sharing! You are so strong girl! It's amazing how illness can affect us so young. I admire your courage in sharing your journey because it makes those of us with chronic diseases feel less alone. I write this from my hospital bed on high doses of prednisone experiencing the side effects but so far I don't feel it's been lowering my inflammation from my severely active Crohns. I hope you finally get some more info when going to this dr in June, it sounds like you will! Take care and keep up the fight with God by your side 💪🏼

      Thank you so much for your support! It means a lot to me! It's so great to know that we really aren't alone in our journey and that God is guiding us through the trials and tribulations we face. I'm so sorry to hear that you're in the hospital. I know how unpleasant prednisone can be to deal with but I pray it kicks in and you feel it helping you soon so you can get back home. You're stronger than you know! *hugs!!❤️

    Please vlog Kelly. You have no idea how much it will help me. I have had 8 surgeries for my stage IV endo and I am still suffering. I also have severe adeno and I'm struggling with the hysterectomy decision, although that's what I'm leaning toward. I'm 24. I'm planning to see Sinervo in a few months. I'm so nervous about it! But I'm ready to finally get some help.

    • @Kelly.Patricia

      +Emily Macauley Yes! I will vlog my experience and my trip to see him! I heard he's amazing, so I'm eager to meet him! I am so sorry that you are suffering so much as well. I'm 25, so I understand the difficult decision making we have to make, but it's all in what you feel is best for you. I feel like if Dr. Sinervo believes I have Adenomyosis (just as my other surgeon did) then it's what I'm leaning towards as well. You're not alone at all, and I hope I can help you feel that way. :)

      +Brandy Duigan I agree that vlogging will be a good idea. It is happening! :) It's so unfortunate that so many of us dealing with chronic pain. We definitely stick together though! No one is left alone.

    I think it is a great idea to vlog. I know when I was scheduled to have my laparoscopic surgery and I was very nervous, I saw your video of your laparoscopic surgery and it made me feel so much better about having it.

      Yes I am doing better. I had a 5cm cyst on my left ovary. They removed the cyst, ovary and fallopian tube on that side. It wasn't nearly as scary as I was fearing. Seeing your video and your positive attitude really helped me to calm down about the whole thing. Thanks again.

    Hi, I wish you the best for your surgery and please let us know how it goes. I can to relate to a lot of what you have said, I have endo and adenomyosis as well and I struggle daily. I think about you sometimes when I'm struggling because I know that you have other conditions as well and you are so strong and brave. The adenomyosis pain that you described is exactly how I feel too. I really hope you have some relief and answers from the surgery. X

    Hey Kelly. I hears ya. I was once in your shoes.
    I was sick throughout most of high school and I missed so much of my senior year that I had to go to summer school in order to graduate. They let me participate in my graduation, but I couldn't get my diploma until after I completed summer school.
    And I didn't have time to pick a college, so for my first year I went to community college. I did manage to graduate college on time, but man-o-man was it tough.
    I had to have three surgeries to remove tumors in my uterus.
    1995 at age 18
    1998 at age 21
    2001 at age 24 when I had my hysterectomy. Yep, at a young age. But they told me it had to be done or I would keep getting sicker and sicker. I was told also to forget about having kids--it was never gonna happen.
    But in essence I swapped my baby-making capabilities for vastly improved health and happiness. Oh yes, in 2002 I met my husband. In 2003 he propose, and in 2004 we got married. We've had a solid marriage for 12 years now.
    My life still has its ups and downs, but on the whole I'm glad for what I've got.
    You may not see it now, and the thought of hysterectomy is scary (it was for me), but I hope you never give up.

    • @Kelly.Patricia
      @Kelly.Patricia  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Your situation is a lot like mine it seems! It's unfortunate that your uterus had to be removed at a young age, so sorry to hear that. Like you, I'm 25, but hoping to have much better quality of life after this if a hysterectomy is needed! It'll be so worth it to have more good days than bad. So happy that you are in a wonderful marriage and having better quality of life since your hysterectomy! Thank you so much for sharing your story! It brings me great comfort that you are doing so well. ❤️

    • @BassPlayerSusan
      @BassPlayerSusan 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Kelly.
      If you do need a hysterectomy, remember that afterwards your hormones will likely be whacko for awhile (mine were). And should you elect to remain childfree, be prepared to fend off a lot of questions from people about why you don't have kids.
      My real chronic condition is that I have type-1 diabetes. I was diagnosed when I was nine, so yeah I'm comin' up on the 30th anniversary of *that* milestone! But I use an insulin pump and I've got my diabetes well under control.

    • @Kelly.Patricia
      @Kelly.Patricia  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! I have other conditions too, but hoping if I could get one issue under control then I could have better quality of life overall! That's what I'm praying for! :) I'm sorry you have diabetes, but I'm SO glad to hear that you have had it under control better. :) Thanks for being so supportive! I'm very appreciative!

    • @BassPlayerSusan
      @BassPlayerSusan 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Kelly
      Thanks. The diabetes and the tumors in my uterus were unrelated conditions, but yeah it was a real 1-2 punch when I was a teen.
      Have you ever checked out www.inspire.com ? It's a great site for people to share their medical experiences.
      "if I could get one issue under control then I could have better quality of life overall! That's what I'm praying for! :)"--We're hoping you do too.
      Love,
      Susan

    Hey lady! I had a hysterectomy on April 11th due to my chronic pain condition Pelvic Congestion Syndrome. They thought I had endo but wasn't sure so they did a laproscopy surgery in Dec 2014 which is when they diagnosed me with the PCS (Pelvic Congestion Syndrome)
    It's been a hard several years and I understand your pain and frustration trying to find answers to the pain. I was very scared as well but really ready to get a treatment plan that could potentially help me live a better lifestyle.
    If you need to talk I'm here for ya lady. I also vlogged my journey over the last few years of trying to find the answer, through my laproscopy and my hysterectomy.....so feel free to check those out and hopefully they help you through this time

    Really hope things get better for you from this doctors visit! I have a lot of your symptoms and more as I'm sure you have! Please research how eating raw fruits and vegetables etc.. Can have such a positive effect on ones health, not saying it's a cure for everything but it definitely is something that help! Changing your diet is free and painless. There is a lot of information on this topic on TH-cam Kelly please have a look! One of the biggest things is cutting out meat and diary to help your body heal. I've not that long been on this lifestyle myself and it definitely has helped! If you want any help or advice on this topic please asks away! Sending you positive thought and love! 😊🍌🍉🍏🍅🍊😋🌟xx

      +Sarah Smith hi Sarah and Kelly, we are all different but eating clean from fruits and vegetables can only help and worth a try! I think sometimes when we first change your diet your body will maybe not like it, but for me after doing a lot of research I take every meal as an opportunity to fuel my body with the good stuff rather than eating anything that could cause stress on the body like soda or processed food and fats! I don't believe fruits and vegetables can be harmful? But we feel nothing with eating sweets and soda that quite obviously is? Not meaning to sound preachy!! 😳 one of the tips that I learnt recently don't combine fruits and veg with fats this can cause gas which could be why it has caused you problems! These are only suggestions, and I think being vegan is amazing! I'm on this journey of recovery with you and hope we all can share and encourage each other with things that has helped! Sending you both positive thoughts and love! 😊💛xx

    • @ecologist_to_be
      @ecologist_to_be 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Samandmegetbetter 1 You need to be careful really as it can be upsetting being told to try harder. I can't tolerate raw vegetables or fruit hardly at all. When you have issues with your digestive tract it can cause a lot of problems with diet. It isn't that we give up trying or being stubborn but we know our bodies as when sick you'll try anything! I spent a few months only being able to tolerate a biscuit spread on rice cakes!
