Marvel boy, squirrel girl and mockingbird bird is going to be a package imo. You can slot those 3 into many decks which equals a lot of power across the board. That means 12 power of squirrels A big mockingbird And then the 2 power of marvel boy. That's 8 energy for like 20+ power. Not bad. And it is synergistic. Gonna be enjoying this
You got me convinced with Marvel Boy. The Evo one looks very promising. Wanted to try out Zoo decks for a while but sadly I don't have Gilgamesh to go tall on one lane with its natural synergy. I think Thanos would be very strong because now the stones will gradually power up and not be much of a waste of space on the board.
I like squirrel girl in these decks also because a lot of the decks marvel boys fits into (like high evo) have a difficult time getting into unplayable locations
this is a good alternative win-con for GilgaZoo when you dont draw the Blue Marvel. inb4 they nerf him a week after release to only target 2 one cost cards.

Sasquatch has some potential, but unfortunately doesn't benefit from "1-cost cheaters" like Squirrel Girl or Shanna that add multiple 1-costs to the board at once but only count as 1 card played - so only 1 energy discount for Sasquatch.
Great point - I always forget about Lady D! Yes, she can take out Marvel Boy - but like you mentioned, Turn 5 (her normal play turn) is probably too late and she's very niche. Destruction decks are already running Killmonger which is probably a better answer for Marvel Boy.

Already found a bug with Marvel boy that cost me a game already. If Marvel boy is put into the “all cards played here are revealed at end of game” lane, his ability won’t go off. Last turn I put him there along with squirrel girl and his ability didn’t go off..
That's not a bug - that's the difference between End of Turn vs End of Game. Invisible Woman and Dark Dimension reveal cards AFTER all turns have ended and it's now in the End of Game phase. Marvel Boy only triggers at the end of each turn; but he can't trigger if he isn't revealed yet. You can use this to stop Attuma from destroying himself or have cards reveal after Captain Marvel looks to move, and so on.
What makes Marvel Boy and/or his decks more vulnerable to Copycat than other cards in Snap? Copycat randomly stealing his ability (which your opponent may not even have 1-costs on board) or Gambit randomly killing Marvel Boy doesn't make them direct counters - that's just those cards doing their normal thing regardless of the target.
Do you play zoo? Then yes, do you want to play zoo? Then yes any other deck types then no. Saying that red hulk is still a must get and blob is now just ok.

This card was not on my radar. Now it has my attention. I’m interested to see what it can do in High Evo decks with Sunspot, Misty, Wasp, etc.

You forgot about the new season pass card, Kate Bishop. She gives 2, 1-cost arrows on reveal that are pretty powerful. She would work well too

Planning around Red Guardian should be easy - add The Hood to the deck. Marvel boy will never be lower than the hood, so Red Guardian will never hit
