EDIT: Since making the video, a few things have changed. The most important thing is the addition of the Token shop. It is currently best to hoard your Gold (instead of using it for Daily missions) and buy bundles that contain Collector's Tokens with that Gold, whenever they're available and cheap. Also - grey cards don't get prioritized for Boosters anymore, but instead any card in your deck that is still missing Boosters for an upgrade now has a 2x chance of receiving Boosters.
It's a fun game, but my main problem is that you don't actually get credits for playing or even winning, only by completing missions and rarely once when you hit level milestones after 30 or so games. so once you finish your allotment of quests for that 8hr period, there's not any way to progress since you can't upgrade cards, and thus your collection level, without credits.
I'm taking a break from LoR and decided to give Snap a shot. I got surprised by how fast it hooked me. This content is great for begginers interested in the game's economy, thank you Lobster!
The fastest way is to create a leveling deck with only white to-green cards. Once all your cards are green, you will have unlocked new cards that are now white. Once all your new cards are green and you have no white cards you can upgrade a single one to blue. You repeat this process leaving only the lowest level cards in your deck and you get all the cards in pool 1 in 3 days of daily missions. By them you will be around level 219 waiting for the resets so you can upgrade your blue collection to purple, and will be around a day for 1 or 2 cards.
My 2 cents: It's not worth to directly buy credits with gold, you get 150 credits for 120 gold. If you refresh the missions you still get 150 credits (50+100 from completing the 2 new missions) but also some Season pass points. I usually keep refreshing until I reach the 25 Daily missions Weekly challenge, then wait for next week, so that I don't run out in case I need it for a week in which I can't play as much.
Do you plan more stuff for Snap? Like basic synergies between cards, decks for beginners and so on? I know you from LoR and always appreciated your highly competent content:)
Great guide! Question for you. After I’ve upgraded all of my white borders, what should I move onto next? One of my friends told me to always upgrade white borders first, then choose one card and upgrade it to max whenever you get the chance… but I couldn’t tell you why that’s supposed to be more efficient. What do you recommend?
It doesn't make much of a difference, but technically your friend is right - once you upgrade a card to Infinite level, you gain another card art variant that starts at grey again, so another cheaper upgrade. I wouldn't worry too much about it though
is the game really pvp? because i ran out of battery yesterday when i was in a match, startet my smartphone a few minutes later and could just play on as if nothing happened. Does anyone one know something about that? awesome video btw ❤
Feels bad that boosters are assigned to random cards we play rather than giving us the choice of cards to upgrade. One of my favorite characters is the thing and id love to improve his card art but as a card its so bad that i doubt it will see play so there almost no way to improve it
You are playing Marvel Snap as well? I started playing 2 weeks ago, currently at collection level 290 at Vibranium Rank with a Swarm Discard deck. You are still gonna play LoR right? Edit: I skimmed through the video and don't know if he mentioned it, but here is another useful tip, never use the quick upgrade feature in the shop as it is effectively a waste of credits and as he mentioned, credits are the limiting resource for progressing players. You can earn the boosters needed just by playing the game.
