Telluride and Creed have made it on to my Colorado destinations list. Absolutely love your videos each week! You guys are absolutely my #1 favorite TH-cam channel!
My favorite parts of your videos are seeing the beautiful places you boondock and the interesting small towns you visit! And it’s really helpful to know what places are dog-friendly.
Thanks, Brenda! We love hearing what you and other viewers enjoy! Boondocking and exploring small towns are two parts of our travels we absolutely love and glad you agree! 👍 -Howard
Telluride & Creede views were both amazing! Love how nicely and sweetly Howard helps you drive up that hill. Good job both of you! The slogan is pretty funny!
the best for you guys has to be between Ouray(one of my favorite places) and Telluride. The one near Creede was pretty great too tho. All such amazing places that i go every summer and can’t wait to get back to.
Good video. I have a good friend with property in Creed and it " was" an undiscovered jewel, ;-) and is still one of the best places to find off grid spots in CO.
Such beautiful scenery, how do you even pick one. Everyone of them is stunning. The food looked delicious as usual.Glad to see the puppies again,Scout just loves outside 🙂.Thank you for another wonderful video ❤️
Oh my aching back!!! That ride up to that spectacular view is a bit too much rocking for me…but then again, you’re two young whippersnappers able to handle the lumps and bumps ( I already HAVE the lumps and bumps! 🤭). The area IS fabulous, though. I think my favorite is between Telluride and here, in Creede. What’s YOUR’S?! (Just got home yesterday from Greece!)
I really loved each of your boondocking spots but if I had to pick only one, it would be Creede. How fun to be there for the salsa competition!! Great job driving the rig !!👍
Can I pick two? Telluride and Creede vie for the top spot - those views are just breathtaking! Aww - I hope your sweet pup is ok? Safe travels and stay well.
Excellent video, thanks for sharing. We live in such a awesome country and state that we can have camping like this. Although it seems like 'free camping', in reality it's land owned by the public, we pay via our taxes to have various agencies manage it for us. The more people feel the public owns the land, the more people will fight to keep it open to the public and care for it.
We’re just there. There’s a terrible weed growing thst has these arrows that stick and feel like slivers of glass. We have stayed here for a few years but left because those grassy sticking weeds stuck to our dogs and the hated them as well. It’s a beautiful place though. No longer is Creede supplying water and. Dump too! This was July 2023 the tourist stop in town told us rainbow grocery in south fork of is closest dump. Said water at town hall but nothing. It was also closed for the week. I saw a water hose you might could get water at the firehouse in the rocks going out of town.
So impressed with your driving skills Katelyn! Wow, what an all inspiring place to camp! Just put Creede CO on our bucket list. Thinking of you guys and sending good thoughts and prayers for your Sister. Take care and safe travels guys.
LOL, it is The Great Sand Dunes N.P. Your are confusing White Sands N.P in NM., with it. Great video as usual, we love Creede, haven’t been there in 15 yrs, will have to go back. We liked Leadville BLM, though it is 11k+, so altitude sickness is possible, take some oxygen canisters.
Creede or Telluride! They were all gorgeous in different ways. I love my adopted state :) There is always more to explore. Can't remember if you did Kebler Pass when you were in Crested Butte. That's on our next fall list, fingers crossed.
Colorado is so spectacular, whether camping or staying in all the amazing accomodations. It was hard for us to even pick these top choices for us! 👍 -Howard
You guys are so enjoyable to watch. I love every adventure you guys go on. I am a adventurer or myself and I don't get out to Colorado that much. But I'm trying to buy a cheap tiny house and move my butt out there. Somewhere waiting for my guy to start a community out there. Randy Jones in credible tiny homes. Is trying to spread out and do tiny house communities all over. But I but I absolutely love it can't wait to get out there again. Thank you so much for your adventure stories and places that are absolutely beautiful. I will definitely go on all of your trips when I'm out there. We could meet up sometime too. I'd love to meet you guys you're amazing. Enjoy your time out there and be safe.
I get the driving your house safely Katelyn, no pressure! 😳 I drive our View locally every where we go pre retirement. Shelley xx p.s. Donald is desperate for a long drive, so planning his vacation, he needs the open road! 🐾🌶
Makes me miss living there. Had an amazing shroom trip right where y'all camped lol. great town and even greater people that live there and keep the mining history alive.
So many questions about the town slogan. 🤣🤣 That view was incredible but so was the one in Telluride. 🎉 This is definitely going on 'the list'. 💞 The salsa festival sounded wonderful until you mentioned the word cilantro, my arch enemy. 🙃 Thanks for sharing this adventure. -Troy & Aimee
Right?!? Haha it cracked me up!!! So glad you're adding Creede to the list. It really is a great place. Definitely a tie for most beautiful views with the Telluride spot 😍 omg so funny about Cilantro.... People either love it or hate it! 😅
Love the Ouray area and we have friends new by. It’s a little cold this time of year. I assume your videos are a few weeks behind real-time? (Ours are as well) Hope to meet you guys in the road
Such a gorgeous part of Colorado, for sure! And you're exactly right, our videos are usually a few weeks behind just from a work flow and safety standpoint. We were there in September :) Would be great to cross paths, thanks so much for watching! 😍 -Katelyn
Love you very informative videos… great job!! Have a question for you… we just ordered our 2023 Navion 24d… we’re so excited to get it… regarding the Murphy bed… the bottom fitted sheet, does it cover the entire mattress including the small part at the head of the bed…same question regarding a mattress topper…. Thanks for any help you can provide..
Hi Gaye! How exciting, congratulations!!! We hope you love it as much as we do! So a full size sheet turned sideways will cover the main mattress (not including that top strip). We now use a mattress topper that we cut to fit the entire mattress and head of the bed and use a queen size sheet to cover the entire thing. Hope that helps!! Let us know if you have any other questions at all :)
Telluride or Creede would be my vote but they are all beautiful. Nice gas station for tourists. Very smart of towns to do that. Great way to get revenue. 2 things I love to judge….chili and salsa. I would love to spend an afternoon tasting that. Time to add another town to the list to see 👍🏼
Yes! Those 2 are so beautiful! 😍 Creede was such a pleasant surprise... Such a great town. Glad it's on your list now! Mmm a chili tasting would be awesome!
The Creede area is awesome, but you missed out on some of the best boondocking. Between Creede and Lake City there is nothing but boondocking site after boondocking site. I have camped on the headwaters of the Rio Grande to over 12,000 feet just North of Clear Creek Falls. It's an awesome area with really decent forest service roads.
Hey Greg! Scout went through a 5 week training program last October where she was trained on recall. We never would have been able to trust her off leash without the extensive training since she was such a flight risk. But as you can see, she is wonderful now about staying with us and coming when called!
Here is the deal...If you keep sharing these amazing spots on social media....they will soon be overrun and not so amazing....consider not "spot burning".....please...
They are professional TH-camrs. They make their living by exposing these areas to others at the expense of those very areas. Their future videos will be "This used to be such a beautiful area. Now it is over run with people".
We're "exposing" areas in the hopes that everyone knows about this great spot to camp. As we've also said in other videos, it is up to all of us to keep areas clean and avoid closures of these great areas due to abuse. Thanks for watching. - Howard

They're all so beautiful and special! 😍🥰 Aww you're so welcome Susan! Thanks for watching! -Katelyn
It's Colorado, everything is beautiful!!
Been in downtown Denver lately? 5th generation Colorado native here and it breaks my heart.
Beautiful videography ❤. You two are awesome
😍 Aww shucks!!! Thanks friends!
Beautiful, love Creede
Not easy to pickup only one ,all of them are breathtaking

So envious watching you crunching all that delicious crispy food. My elderly teeth can't do that anymore. Sigh.
Thanks for sharing Alamosa, my oldest brother was born there, while my parents lived in the area for about 2 years. I've never been there.
the Bachelor Loop road in Creede is so amazing
Creede and surrounding area and The Silver Thread are so amazing.
the best for you guys has to be between Ouray(one of my favorite places) and Telluride. The one near Creede was pretty great too tho. All such amazing places that i go every summer and can’t wait to get back to.
Amazing views, amazing boondocking!!! Thanks
Gotta add this one to your list next time you're out West! ❤😍
Good video.
I have a good friend with property in Creed and it " was" an undiscovered jewel, ;-) and is still one of the best places to find off grid spots in CO.
Thank you for this video...we'll be in Creede next month. We'll do our best to find where you ended up boondocking. Thank you!!
You're so welcome! We hope you enjoy Creede as much as we did! Here's a link to where we camped 😉 www.campendium.com/creede-dispersed-camping
Such beautiful scenery, how do you even pick one. Everyone of them is stunning. The food looked delicious as usual.Glad to see the puppies again,Scout just loves outside 🙂.Thank you for another wonderful video ❤️
Another lovely visit with great scenery and food. Thank you.
So glad you came along with us!! ❤️🥰
They are all such spectacular views but Creed has my vote!!

I like Ouray because it included a stream. A restaurant with a laundry! 🤯🤯
Yes! Any time we're near water, it's a bonus 😍 right?! Great way to pass the time haha
Another great adventure!!! Love you guys❤️
You're the best! Thanks, Dave!!! 😍
Can I pick two? Telluride and Creede vie for the top spot - those views are just breathtaking! Aww - I hope your sweet pup is ok? Safe travels and stay well.
Very good choices!! Those are our top 2 as well I think 😍 thank you!! She's ok now, but it was definitely scary at the time! 🥹❤️
...cool video keep up the great content.. Thank you…
All awesome spots. But would say Telluride. Can't wait to explore Colorado ourselves sometime soon we hope.
Garry and Marilyn

Those were some great campsites!!!
Thanks so much! We're clearly big fans of camping in Colorado! 👍 -Howard
Site 3 and 4 looked the Best. Love your content and keep keeping on.
They're all so unique and beautiful! Great choices! And thank you so much!!! ❤️🥰
Our beautiful state! Love them all!
So hard to choose when every spot looks like that!
Creede or Telluride! They were all gorgeous in different ways. I love my adopted state :) There is always more to explore. Can't remember if you did Kebler Pass when you were in Crested Butte. That's on our next fall list, fingers crossed.
Creede is gorgeous. Did you do the Up & Over? It’s amazing! ❤️
Ooh 3, 4 or 6 are our choice....For me possibly number 3, purely based on running water. #superjeaous!!
I think best view is a toss up between Vail and Creed, but let’s face it, they are all gorgeous!
Colorado is so spectacular, whether camping or staying in all the amazing accomodations. It was hard for us to even pick these top choices for us! 👍 -Howard
Telluride was the best of a lot of great views IMHO.

They are all great spots. But I liked #4 the most.
Great choice! The view on top of that mountain was just incredible. Thanks for watching, Joe!
All beautiful spots but Telluride looks amazing. But so did Vail.. But so did Creede......
They were all beautiful camping spots, but creed was my favorite...
You guys are brave, not sure that I would have tried that in my smaller camper van. Great view though.
We felt pretty good once we took the car up and saw where to take it slow! 🥰 Any where in that whole area is beautiful though!
The Creede area is awesome, but you missed out on some of the best boondocking. Between Creede and Lake City there is nothing but boondocking site after boondocking site. Telluride by a mile!!
What are the GPS coordinates?
Hiiii! Can i ask where you went 5 minutes outside of Alamosa? And the lunch spot? Looked amazing. We are heading to Alamosa.
Wonderful
Hi guys need to know what of bike rack u guys have? We have 2 lectric bikes.
Thanks, Jesse
Telluride, Ouray then Creede
Telluride I liked the best
Ouray or Telluride ... not sure about spelling 🤔
I like 4.
I just realized that Scout was off leash. How long has it been that you trust her not to run off? G
Hey Greg! Scout went through a 5 week training program last October where she was trained on recall. We never would have been able to trust her off leash without the extensive training since she was such a flight risk. @@NewstateNomads Exactly! You are exposing these new areas to thousands of new people who will go there.
Wowza….tough decision but I’m tired with Creede and Telluride 🏔
