The local school district I retired from had two 184's and one 284. they were all equipped with those woods belly mowers. They do not do well in high grass. That single belt was the downfall. It would squeal like crazy and you ended up with twisted grass and many times a broken belt. They are not cheap to buy.
Brings back memories, I had one identical to it only white and yellow back in the eighties. I used it for my lawn business. Loved it.
How many years / hours was it in service for you? Any recommendations tips / tricks for my 184?

Wow, thats awesome to see this lawn tractor from such a legendary era. Id love to own one some day!!
Great tractor! Dad left me his 184, 1976, used it now for 20 years, only down side is they should made it with diesel engine, but she still the job!
Great tractor. I was lucky to find this one in great condition.
Put electronic ignition on it. It will drop fuel consumption quite a bit.
I just put a 184 on my shopping list of equipment
It has been a great machine.
WOW! Really nice 184. creeper drive, three point, diverter valve and dual brakes... great tractorl Let me know if you ever want to sell it.
What a sweetheart of a tractor
I appreciate it. Love using it for it's intended purpose.
I've got one just like my yours.
That's the way to mow the lawn.
Would love to own that and take care of that history 📜

Gotta be smarter than what you are working with. Unfortunately common sense is no longer a thing and people are just stupid!!
I heard a few times the engine missing under load. Electronic ignition is the best thing I've done for my cub.
Already have electronic ignition on mine. I think I may have a valve seat issue.
That Woods mower should be a model L59.
That isnt a woods mower
You need to get a saw and cut the Liam down and a weedeater
Getting around to that.
