Secret Message Section: We started watching a series on Netflix called, The Haunting of Hill House (or something like that) slow start but it's getting interesting
Im severely insomniac, so much so that i sometimes cant sleep at all for days, to the point of hallucinations. Its stems from my ptsd and i just want to thank mort. These videos help me so much. Ever since i started listening at night, ive noticed a huge improvement in getting to sleep. These videos have given back weeks worth of sleep that i normally wouldve lost. So thank you thank you thank you! I dont think you realize how incredibly helpful your videos are.
Glad I'm not the only one. There's something about scary stories that paradoxically soothes me to sleep.
You should also try hypnosis/hypnotherapy, tapping and EMDT, all wonderful for PTST😊❤🎉
I also like hearing the stories without having to watch anything, it's like being read to and is kinda comforting.

I have a story, a real story. I used to work in a nursing home (11 years there) , and the laundry room was down in the basement. Working night shifts, we used to have to take all dirty linen down there before the day shift arrived. One morning, I was merrily pushing the trolley along the corridor to the laundry room, when I heard a voice say "Good Morning" right behind me. I jumped and spun around, expecting to see one of my colleagues there.....there was no one. I fled, leaving the trolley, and ran back upstairs. No one believed me, until others started to be greeted with "Good Morning", then no one would go down there on their own.I couldn't tell if the voice was male or female, but I never went down there again on my own. This story is 100% truth. 🇬🇧
What I love the most about this channel is that the background is all black...this way, I can listen to this while falling asleep in dark without my screen light bothering me❤️

Gettysburg sure is! especially during reenactment season, I go every chance I get. once had a conversation with someone I thought was a participant near devils den it was around lunchtime and he said that he forgot his canteen so I offered him some of mine( I didn't recall opening conversation or how I got that far away from the others like a viseral fog in my cognition I felt dissonance) he was wearing a union uniform and sat two feet away from me on an outcrop of rocks I looked up from my bag and he was gone just gone no sound no nothing but his eyes those agile eyes staring through oblivion are etched into my mind. There is a reason devils den is off limits and its not because it's physically dangerous though that is the (official) reason given to hide the fact ...that's where I was lured to those eyes of a thousand souls
The first story is BY FAR one of the scariest stories I’ve heard from Mortis! This one is so memorable. The 3 shadow creatures “dancing”. Something about that picture is definitely disturbing!
Top tip if you feel as though shadow people are near start to give yourself a little rub or flog while looking seductive they feed on your fear and what's the opposite of fear joy

@@arijana9006 I always move to upper floor apartments and as new as possible less than 20 years old to reduce the possibility. Even if in a new build but on the ground floor there’s a chance the ground level is haunted by something there previously.
I used to see ghosts and it became exhausting if living in an old active apartment.
Since doing this I haven’t been bothered by anything for over 13 years.

Story that starts at around 20:00 minutes, about guys from the forest that hang out, is one of the best ghost stories that I've heard (heard it also from another youtuber). It could be, and should be a book or mini series. Truthful or not, hands down to whomever wrote it.

To start my story, I’m going to describe the layout of the house this took place in.
In my old house, we had two floors. On the top floor there was one bedroom and a bathroom. To get to the bedroom, you would have to take a right down the hallway at the top of the stairs and the bedroom would be at the very end of it.
Right outside the bedroom door, there was the bathroom to the right, and to the left there was a desk in a small indention in the hallway wall with a window letting in some light. (Sorry if this part is a little confusing)
Sitting on the desk there was a little plastic figure of a green elephant standing on a wooden platform. The whole thing was probably smaller than my hand now. It also used to belong to my great-grandma who died not to long before this story takes place, which make this all the more scarier.
When my brother and I were little (around ages 7 and 6, me being the oldest), we were running around downstairs, being annoying, and laughing our butts off when our mom got mad at us and told us to go play in our room upstairs.
When we made it to the top of the stairs, we looked out into the hall at our bedroom door ( probably because the light were off and we hated going up there when it they were off ). While still looking into the hall, we saw the elephant sliding across the desk, and once it got close to the edge, it flung itself at the bathroom door and landed about a foot in front of it.
We were terrified. We ran down the stairs as fast as our little legs could carry us, screaming the whole way down.
When our mom asked us what happened, we told her with tears running down our faces.
I’m not sure if she believed us or not, but she’s had some experiences with spirits before, so it’s likely she did.

Dijin are more akin to faeries of the West, rather than demons. Demons are evil, whereas faeries are neutral spirits of great power. Dijin can either help or hurt you, it depends on them and their ever changing moods. They are like capricious demigods. I've dedicated most of my life to studying mythology and folklore so I'm talking from years of experience and having read thousands upon thousands of stories.

When I was 3 or 4 my mom would let me bring some plastic toys into the bathtub with me. One of the toys I brought was a Dora doll, I was just paying with her in the bathtub and hummed when ever I made her talk. I for some reason got annoy her head was not facing me properly so I was about to turn it but instead it just turned itself before my other hand could reach her head. I remembered not being scared and even said 'thank you' out loud. I only realized what was wrong several years later and it freaks me out.

Just need to say, I like non-human animals better than humans... Dealt with a lot of horrible people and I just generally hate them. When I was really little, having been shoved down in my own yard I sat there crying. The family cat found me, she came up and stayed until I was okay and then went on her cat way to do whatever. So the story about the dog is amazing. I've had some great dogs myself... The last having farted in my room and didn't understand why I was blaming him because dogs don't know when they fart! XD After his mate passed he became less active... He knew her since he was a pup, she was older. So she naturally left us before him. But I love hearing stuff like that, our animal companions keeping an eye on us in the afterlife.
The one for the music doll is beautiful (and she really should have listened to her grandmother, crazy or not her grandmother warned her to respectful of it)

My thoughts exactly. The demon couldn't feed off greed because there wasn't any, it didn't turn out 'as he expected' because he didn't ask for much, and it has every right to be frustrated with him. It's a deal with little profit for both ends. The handprints were amazing evidence, though

I like the story. Though the deal is definitely imbalanced unless the demon is nice enough to use the same units of time measurement as humans do while alive.

These stories really appeal to me. The one about the ghost kids and the club house, table and lookout post that aged suddenly when the kids disappeared was especially appealing to me! So many believable and intuitively coherent elements!

I guarantee the people in the story were white. I don't know why it is that way but a larger majority need a lot more convincing when it comes to the supernatural. (Not all of course) I'm Cherokee and there's no way in hell I’d bring that back. We were raised to very much believe in the supernatural & respect it.

Feels like apocalypse in the lockdown
This is exactly what scientists were warning us about, a year ago they were talking about the "Next Pandemic". How the fuck did they know, And why does Trump say it took them off guard? I like Trump's 'Take No Shit Honesty', but then he says things as though it's all about he and he alone. He needs an intervention of integrity to lead the common little men that run the country. $2, trillion?? Where the fuck was that for researching 'the next pandemic'. The shit isn't just going to run from imaginary money.
I love these stories, they creep me out but also made aware about what goes on. This isolation is so boring im going crazy and these videos are about the only thing I listen to!!:D
Am i the only one that listens to these videos before i go to sleep, its like a loliby to me, soothing, relaxing, it calms my anxiety, growing up i never liked normal girl stuff instead i was fascinated by the paranormal and bugs and bones and just stuff like that including murder mystery stuff, this is like a cure to my anxiety 🙏🏻😊

I'm giving it another watch. The seasons definitely slow down at points, but it's still a show I basically grew up with. There is a story in here a little less than halfway through (the person hearing a plane in their backyard) that named their dog "Castiel", figured the story writer was a fan, too.
