The uncle story in the beginning I remember from along time ago very creepy ! Those dogs deserved a big steak and lots of love and cuddles for helping to save the uncles life ! I think the reason she thought Lizzy was a suitable name for the spirit in their house is probably actually her name and was mentally placed into her mind.its a possibility anyways. It makes me sad that anyone would be treated like they weren't belived especially by their own parents, it has to be confusing enough without being told you aren't exspirenceing or hearing what you are. The Dear David stories iv heard were of a doll maybe with a boys spirit possess the doll. Maybe there are many versions. Always trust your gut feelings !! Yall need a medium/ someone who can speak to those who have passed on ect..Maybe a cleansing will help but doing nothing is not an option will only get stronger and dangerous.

When I was a young adult in the 1980s I use to play with ouija board alone at night lots, until one night a demon appeared with shrunken head scraggly hair jaggered teeth and scary red eyes the way it looked at me I screamed and ran got few knives and stayed in a corner for hours absolutely terrified 😨 never touched a ouija board ever again.

This channel and contentvis absolutely amazing, if only you kept the commercials to the beginning like most sleep channels it wouldn't jump us awake frustrating people making them go to stories that aren't as good so we can sleep. Ive heard this from at least 20 others about this channel. This channel should have millions of subscribers, and i believe it wou.d if you fixed this issues like oyher creators 9

As for the story about David? I believe a story or movie can leave a mark on a person, because a movie and a book has also has left some scars on me, It's been so long since I've seen and read that I'd forgotten their names but not how they made me feel sometimes I can feel their presence sometimes even though 58 years old.
I have always been curious and open minded regarding ghosts but never convinced. But it changed when my youngest nephew began talking about a certain ghost.
We have heard the boys voice in the baby monitor even tho he slept in another room. He talks to "her" and told us she sleeps under his bed. We have finally got him to tell us something about her. She's kind and an adult.

Love these stories! I grew up in a haunted house and have had some crazy experiencs. Even when I moved out to college, they followed me and made themselves more known. I made a few videos on my channel about it if your interested
The story startig at 17:24 was more tragic because of the graves being removed, and cute because of how the family has learned to live with the ghosts in their home.

I always listen to scary creepy stories at night when im cleaning my house before i go to sleep… but this compilation gave me a good scare. I couldn’t get up out of my daughters room since i slept with her.

Story at 1:34:00. Return to Christ my friend. Seek family in His kingdom. Your power is strong but we are only human with limits. Through Jesus we have unlimited goodness and power and life for eternity. Ik that sounds very churchy but im an ex addict still in my 20s and Ive come to admit that only through Jesus will we be saved. Still struggling with temptation but I feel strong when I am close to God.
Lmao😂. So if you throw out all the irrelevant setup the 1st story is basically A book fell off thw shelf and scared me. Lmao😂😂😂. I guess I shouldn't be surprised since it came from someone who said that driving 18hrs in 2 days was literally the hardest thing they had ever done.
In the story that's playing at 10 mins, ot stated that the guy lived 4 hrs from the plantation and wanted to arrive at 11 or so, but he left at 8. That's only 3 hrs, without any mention of changing traffic conditions. Presumably, at night the drive is 3, as opposed to 4, hrs. But the author leaves this assumption to the reader or listener. Otherwise why else would it necessitate the night drive to begin with, other than to save time via mitigated traffic. If I missed something, let me know, as I am multi-tasking atm.
1:02:42 I just wanted to say something about this story. Satanism isnt inherently bad just like any other religion. But there are sects that distort a religion. This happens in all religions, including Christianity. It sucks but it happens. So dont get a bad idea about Satanism in general. My cousin is a Satanist and sacrifices have nothing to do with it, neither does Satan. They dont actaully believe in Satan.
1:06:03 Seeing spirits isnt always a choice. It runs in families. But you can "shut it down" in a sense. You dont fully block everything but you see and hear things far less. You will still sense things.

Your the best Mort!!Thank u for what you do.I gotta question,in the story about the 2 white dogs escorting the person threw the woods.It said the last night they came bonding up to the guy and his friend then as usual 2 dogs walked them up to the edge of the woods pricked their ears towards the wood and ran away.Naturally quite alot of poo came out.That was the last time he saw the dog s.My question is,lol why did the dogs poo? I listened to the story quite a bit and can’t figure out why the dogs pooped? Did something scare them that wasn’t mentioned?

Have you ever had a time where you feel anxious as though there are people staring at you but there's no one there, and the surrounding area almost confirm that no one can possibly be there, but you feel the anxiety. In the spiritual realm, when chasing a host, the host would amost always feel this. So if you ever feel this surge of anxiety while no one is around, it is certain that there are spiritual entities there. The anxiety can give hints that the entity most likly want to attach or harm your spirit.
If the spiritual entity is of one more holy or of good intention toward the host, the host would warm emotionally like a hug from a beloved family member, a feeling of safety and comfort.
When you traverse to the spiritual realm, it depends on how pure and healthy your brain is which let you navigate to the past, presence and future.
i think with the nursing home that had 3 ghosts, the ghost priest meant someone was destined to remain on earth in the afterlife/spend some time in Purgatory as a chance to repent after death since the deceased didn't live up to their full potential in life, thus being given a second chance in death to make things right.

The one story where the pair visit a slave graveyard at 1:27… the fact they call themselves history buffs but think that the slaves would be shown enough respect to be buried and given their own individual headstones 🙄🙄🙄 also, how about don’t visit a slave mass burial site, just let those poor tortured souls rest without some white “history buffs” tramping all over the forest where they rest. There are plenty of other more interesting historical sites that aren’t disrespectful to visit.
