I have a 2013 Taurus SE, I barely have any complaints about it besides having to dismantle the whole thing to work on it. It’s comfy and fun to drive and gets relatively good gas milage
Did you drain the radiator fluid (coolant) before the change or was you able to do the repair without draining any coolant? Also how did you remove the fuel from the car to get the injectors out without gas leaking?
This video is very helpful, thanks for posting it. But I have 1 question, how do you disconnect the fuel rial line on the left side. I have been trying for several hour to figure this out.
I just did job in 3.5l explorer its the same engine the good news is i replaced that sensor with out removing anything else just took my time and with plenty of my own ideas and alot of patience got the job done so yes it can be done i only replaced the senir i didnt not replace anything else no gaskets and no fuel lines no plenum just the sensor

@@james3706684 I had an overheating going on temp kept going up even though I did replace the sensor my issue was the cooling fans once i replace the fans and fan module it got fixed
At 0:23 you said it would read normal temperatures straight to cool shouldn't it be go up to hot thats what mine does i have the messsage engine coolant over temperature
I don't think I have a more in detailed video. It's tough I make a very detailed video people complain that they are too long. I tried to hit the important stuff. It's not a bad job, nothing to be afraid of.

A simple diagnosis and fix it looks like! Certainly would have been a few hundred bucks at a shop!
Like 800$ possibly lol
Awesome fix man this engine is very complicated for everything that’s why I’m selling my 2010 Ford Taurus

A tool like the one in the link slides in and spreads the fingers that hold it together and it pulls apart. amzn.to/3HgY4fK
Thanks for the quick response. I was able to get it removed today.

Oscar this got fix? Did it work?
You have to drain the Antifreeze out of the hoses? I have a 2010 Ford Fusion with a 3.0L engine.
I didn't drain the system. I just let what needed to come out, leak out when I disconnected the pipes.
Do you have a longer video? you kinda skipped alot of details, if you do could you put it up I would really appreciate it

If not hard keep going it’s simple pause video and look how he lifted the fuel line that’s the most important part
Thanks🎉
Is this for a 3.7 interceptor too?
@@mafiacity1017 I would think it is similar
Do you know if it’s the same location on a 3.5 ecoboost for a 14 explorer. I took off the manifold and I can’t find the sensor
I'm not positive. Sorry
