You should be proud of yourself, coming all the way from the push into video creation during covid to your own fully built house! Looks great. For the bookshelf, perhaps move it to the left and place an overhead standing reading light to the right of it to use when sitting in the red chair.
Thanks so much :) and oo yeah that’s also a good idea!
Hell yeah! After so much time and so many setbacks you finally got it done!
Yess :) I can finally breathe!
Congratulations! You have worked so hard for this - enjoy!
Thanks so much! :)
In your office, you could put the bookshelf in the middle of the wall and put a potted plant on each side of it.
I can definitely see if it would fit! Because a big plant will just about fit in there now on the left I think
@@pandabossanna if you build it out, you can put smaller plants on the shelves. I'd go with the storage, it's much more useful.
Nice work Panda Boss. House looks great.
Thank you very much :)
Massive congratulations Anna! I remember in 2020 when we were talking and this was a dream and now it's a reality. Well done.
Eek thanks so much ! It's been a hell of a ride hah
Congratulations. Wish you all the happiness in your new home
Thank you so much 😊
Warmest congratulations to you! I am so happy to see your long-held dream come to fruition. All the hard work has paid off and your new life is beginning. It's very exciting to see! Well done, many people just don't have the oomph that you have to make things happen. I'm delighted to see this, truly.
Thank you so much! That’s such a lovely comment :)
i really like the colour scheme you've gone for in your house! i think i will do something similar
thank you so much :)
Let me see. In current market 2024, in Toronto area that would easily be about million Canadian pesos and 3 hours total daily commute to work time. Place looks lovely. Btw way back I bought wall unit from Ikea and only after getting it home I found out it was made in Poland. That was super nice surprise. All the best.
It looks very cozy and comfy! I am happy for you 😊
Thanks so much!
Love your home! As for your wall unit, I think you can either center it and leave the sides clear of anything or you can add lighting like sconces or picture frames or as someone mentioned potted plants. Or, you can keep it as is and add a lamp or something to your liking on the empty side. Hope this helps! I’m so interested in knowing how you feel living in Poland. I plan to buy a home there one day, as well!
Thanks so much :) and yes, I'll def do a video about that later down the line! Are you Polish too? Or another reason for thinking of buying in Poland?
@@pandabossannaThat would be awesome! I would love to hear what you think! My husband is Polish and we visit his family there every year. I have absolutely fallen in love with Poland and look forward to buying a home there in the next few years.🤗
Well done Anna! So incredible what you've achieved. Love your home.
I don't think the shelving unit looks weird off to the side, they say have some assymmetry is good for aesthetics. Definitely a HUGE plant next to the shelf and then I think a hanging plant on the top of the shelf would finish it off well.
Hope you have many wonderful and happy memories in your new home xxx
Thank you so much lovely :) xx
Huge congratulations Anna, so so happy for you especially with the water as I remember it being a headache before. So happy for you 😊😊😊
Thank you so much lovely!! :) :)

Very much so :) thank you!!
Quick Question, what camera are you using in this video? if you have an affiliate link for it, throw it up

Great job and keep it up
Thanks! :)
Relative newcomer to your channel, but I’ve enjoyed watching all of your videos. Really enjoyed the house tour, the flooring looks really nice, especially as it flows consistently throughout the house. As a Brit I can never get used to seeing the washing machine and drier being in the bathroom though - it seems to be a mainland European thing ?! 🤔😄
Welcome :D and thank you so much :) hahah yeah definitely a European thing! To be fair I planned it in the utility room but the heat pump ended up taking more space than I thought
Looks amazing. Well done! You’ve come a long way 🎉 Can I ask where the sofa and the cat pic are from please? 😊
Thanks so much :) sofa is from IKEA, and the cat pic was from amazon!
Love it and all the green tones! Glad to see it has all worked out for you. Just curious, are bungalows common in Poland or is it cheaper/easier to build them?
Ahh thank you!! And I don’t think they’re any more common than others but yeah cheaper to build for sure ;)
The house looks amazing! Re. shelves, keep it off centre and put one tall plant to fill the other side.
Have you moved from the uk permanently and working remotely?
Thank you! Yeah I’ve now moved permanently :)
There are Ikea hacking websites/channels out there. Someone will have a bookcase solution for you that would let you build out units to fill that space horizontally and vertically. The house looks great. Congrats.
Oooo I’ll need to search for that! Thanks :))
@@pandabossanna I had a look and there's definitely ways to extend them, it's worth looking at pictures because while doing it there's cunning ideas like leaving a space for a tiny and ergonomically unsound mini desk.
Better, a taller block for a printer or a vase. You can absolutely stack units but they can be bolted together and secured to the wall for safety.
People have done lots of clever, minimal carpentry stuff with them as well, from turning them into kitchen islands, adding a backing material to improve the look, or making a box seat. I should think you only need the easier projects though.
Love the bathroom , with the office have you thought of the box you can get from IKEA ? 👍
Which box do you mean?
@@pandabossanna they are called cubes storage from 👍
I love your house. Re. the shelving unit, could you get another one? If so, I'd get another one and either get your uncle or someone to 'modify' it so you've got another row of shelves/drawers down the side and build more along the top as well. Failing that, I'd centre the unit on the wall, it would be a lot more pleasing to your eye. Just my 10 cents worth 🙄
Yeah I may well end up putting it in the centre! Feels like wasted space a bit but it’ll look better :)
