I am a 3 person family, Gravity can fit all 3 of us plus 3 bicycles inside the car with their full flat sit folding design. Its all about versatility, and with $80,000 price tag there isnt anything close to Gravity in my opinion.

Tesla’s business model was to start with exclusive, expensive, high margin vehicles and then work their way toward the mainstream mass market. It worked for them because they were first in and read the market well. In the current saturated marketplace I will be surprised if Lucid is still around in a few years.

i am not saying this cos of Lucid, i address the whole car brands now.
7 seat, third row? for whom?
i mean most people who have 4-5 kids have no money to buy a new car i n the $50K+ range
and the average kids/household is in decline in the last 80 years, not in the uptake, and never will, cos the cost of having kids is getting worse and worse, housing is more and more unaffordable for most, so less and less people actually have kids, let alone 2 or more..
so the people who have the money to buy a 7 seater electric car , actually dont need more then a 4 seater, and the people who would need a 7 seater, are minimum wage earners who will never afford a 7 seater new electric car, maybe a Mitsubishi Outlander on sale (ice car), but not a 50K+ car, and i imagine the Lucid SUV wont start under $60K either, if not higher.
I'm an empty nester and I'm planning to buy the Gravity when it debuts. I do a lot of hiking, cycling, camping, etc. and the space inside the Gravity meets my needs. The Rivian R1S comes close, but I can't get past those head/eye lights. I've also got three little granddaughters that I'll haul around while being able to space them out with gear. I still see plenty of Tahoes, Expeditions, Denalis, etc. on the road with little ones inside. However, you make a good point about the price and yet the people interested in the EVs from Porsche, Rivian, Range Rover, MB, and BMW may consider the Gravity. As the battery tech and cost go down, so will the prices. I've seen it in person. I predict it will be a winner for Lucid.

@@ShihanQu I would never buy a tesla, when the battery dies in 8 years you will have nothing to show except remorse. The battery alone cost's more then the car itself. You will see, and you will bow you knee to William Li...
@@anthonyskorupski ICE cars on average will need a new engine before Teslas need a new battery. Plenty of teslas with over 400k miles on original battery. When it is time to replace, it is $8-$15k depending on model, not more expensive than the car. Seems your conclusions are based on misinformation.
