The good thing about this pickup truck is that it comes with a trash can in the back, so you can throw it in there even if it breaks down and it won't take long.
@@josedearimateiayjesus2178are you talking about the Tesla cyber truck 😂 that thing looks like a trash can from the back for sure and has been making headlines for breaking down many times. 😂
FYI. policy in China is that pickups will be scrapped after 15 years and are limited driving in some roads in cities. but this policy doesn't apply to SUV. that's why this car is designed, looks like a pickup but registered as a SUV.
They are considered freight vehicles, which are required to be scrapped after 15 years. The policy is changing though, as many areas are starting to create exceptions for pickups used by families.

Here in Australia (where we're getting a tonne of Chinese EVs) I was always sad the that back in the early 2000s the GM Holden SSX concept never made it to manufacturing. This is giving me vibes of that. At the right price I think it could be a winner as a weekend adventurer and weekday family hauler.
Aus army officer here, mate our industry is going to get real shaken up if the Chinese decide to go all out in exporting their cars. Thing is, the massive Chinese market is enough to digest
honestly, its vehicles like these that excite me, because people like to say the Chinese automakers have zero imagination and always copy from the west. But that is 100% original and awesome. Not for me cuz I've always hated that vehicle shape (BMW series 6 and whatever the mercedes one is ew...) but it shows that while everyone else was sleeping on their designs, these designers were making something new, and pushing innovation while everyone else just gave us the same thing, just slightly updated. Today i looked at 7 seater Toyota Landcruiser 300 that sells for a staggering, 150k USD, with such old fashioned tech i cant help but compare it to the U8 from BYD that retails for the same price. Legacy automakers are getting left behind because they cling to their identities too much.
Maybe at the expense of turning radius? Both Model Y and Mach E have large frunks, and turn like a boat, whereas the VW ID.4 has zero frunk, but it also means they put all the under hood components in the enter and the ID.4 can turn on a dime. I'd take the turning radius over a frunk anyday.
I think this is a very clever concept, of which other manufacturers have toyed with with various concepts (remember the BMW Xactivity concept for the X3? Has a similar rear end concept!) I think this could work in Europe as a lifestyle vehicle. It's low, sleek and practical while having the ability to convert into something even more practical. The performance is excessive, but I applaud Changan for doing this, and it is a clever workaround in China for the surprising restrictions they have on pick ups! I see this has gone on sale in Thailand so perhaps it will be sold in more global markets! Great video as always
This is just what you get when you combine a modern ev with a Pontiac Aztek and a GMC Envoy XUV (and that's not a bad thing. Those two wierd SUVs had pretty handy quirks)
The exterior design is very interesting and innovative. I really like it a lot. The interior...not so much. Good seating and storage features but way too spartan and boring. That pink colour is horrid! The price is also reasonable and great value for dollar. Chinese automakers are leaving the US automakers in the dust.
I love quirky cars. Like a Pontiac Aztek, Honda CrossTour, and. Hyundai Santa Cruz had a baby. It would be great for me as I have light duty needs for DIY and Gardening runs. The interior is a bit too monochrome for me but the colors options are at least more exciting than the North American options. How is the rear window visibility?
If you could get a translator for Brazilian Portuguese 🇧🇷 you would definitely have a large number of subscribers on your channel, here in Brazil we love cars, it's a shame we don't have all the new releases, but we still love car videos, we have some national TH-camrs who talk about cars, who have more than a million subscribers, there is a channel from the United Kingdom dubbed into our Portuguese that has "Carwow Brasil" which has almost half a million subscribers, it would be interesting. 🙏😎
THATS A PLUS SIZED EV HONDA CRX !😂 But tbh thats would actually look great lowered with some bbs style wheels. Regardless its still offers some very innovative features too like that overhead screen and zero gravity seats and full folding rear passenger seat . It the perfect date car for 2 or a beach / vacation car for a group of friends!
The good thing about this pickup truck is that it comes with a trash can in the back, so you can throw it in there even if it breaks down and it won't take long.
Btw, can you say why China doesn't have a combined charging port for fast & slow charging? I've noticed in your videos that Chinese market cars need a big flap because the ports are next to each other instead of combined vertically like CCS.
8:26 Now that's where we're gonna hit a snag. This is an SUV in China, so you cannot haul anything the way you haul things with a pickup-truck. Yeah, those camping gear things could stretch out from the exposed rear cargo trunk when it's off the roadway, but as long as it's on public roads, the camping gear better fit neatly in the sealed shut trunk, or the traffic cops will absolutely ruin your life. This is only a half decent pickup truck substitute, [when stationary], or in other words, [in the showroom].
As of now, there is no indication that Jordan has imposed specific tariffs on Chinese battery electric vehicles (BEVs). The country is more focused on promoting electric vehicle adoption, with efforts to maintain affordable electricity tariffs for EV charging. Jordan has also fostered a favorable regulatory environment to encourage green energy and EV infrastructure development, such as incentivizing EV charging stations.
The competition and size of the market in China really allows for this kind of designs to try and make them stand out. Not too much of the safe and staid designs that the legacy auto comes up with. Combined with their extremely competitive prices, no wonder legacy auto countries are absolutely terrified of the Chinese EVs coming to their shores.
Changan has just announced that the presale price for the E07 is 250,000-320,000 RMB (35,500-45,500 USD)

Ford and GM coughing
What's the idea behind the 15yr life limit for pickups?
They are considered freight vehicles, which are required to be scrapped after 15 years. The policy is changing though, as many areas are starting to create exceptions for pickups used by families.
@@yystl Okay, but what's the justification for scrapping potentially still good cars after 15yrs.
To create demand for new cars which have better performance and lower emissions.
Wow, I really like this car! The problem is, I'm liking nearly every car that is coming out of China these days!!
same!
Spoke my mind
This is how Pontiac Aztek looks in another universe.
Ouch, but true I guess……
Winner winner chicken dinner!!!
It really looks like one in the rear
IMO it's a lot LESS ugly than the Aztek, but then again ... that isn't saying much.
With a bit of GMC Envoy Xuv
Better look than cybertruck haa 😂😂😂
Side profile is nice. Front and back can see some improvement.
The good thing about this pickup truck is that it comes with a trash can in the back, so you can throw it in there even if it breaks down and it won't take long.
As someone who works in the North American auto industry, I have to say, we are screwed. China is going to eat our lunch
Well, you can't buy any Chinese cars in there I guess 😂
Isreal already eat your future kids lunchables 😂😂😂 free us from aipac
I want one! I really like that drop down rear seat window.
Perfect PICK-UP for us in Europe really like the design remindes me of Hyundai Santa Cruz . Hopping that we get it here😊❤❤
Awesome video
So long as you want to move cardboard of some other light weight cargo, it fails on not being able to do a proper job whatever task.
It's registered as a SUV.

seen a lot BYD EVs in Hobart these days, can you imagine, even farkn Hobart mate
Looks waaaaaay better than a cyber fridge 👍😁

Don't give them too much credit. Normally they hire a good designer from Europe
花衬衫每次都很好看 哈哈
This one kill that cybertoy.😂
When you look at the Cybertruck surfaces it all looks very uneven...as if someone just did a DIY project.
Cybertruck but you can actually live with it.
Yeah, but can you drive it on Mars?
😂😂
🤣🤣
This is the future, a would buy one
This is cool, and weird!!!!
'Deep Oceans ' at the beginning, that's a keeper. 🎶
They actually nailed the design with this one. Impressive. Nio is I'm their bag
wow how did they manage to get such a huge front boot and deep storage. packaging of this must be pretty decent
Maybe They're leaving that space for a range extender?
Maybe at the expense of turning radius? Both Model Y and Mach E have large frunks, and turn like a boat, whereas the VW ID.4 has zero frunk, but it also means they put all the under hood components in the enter and the ID.4 can turn on a dime. I'd take the turning radius over a frunk anyday.
It's not that Tesla is unaffordable, but Changan NEVO E07 is more cost-effective
Reminds me of a GMC Envoy XUV meet with Subaru Baja, I love it! The front end is a little too Dodge Charger though
100% agree , as a formal owner of xuv and baja
The side looks like a Pontiac Aztek
Yeah a weird charger mashup design
I would love to see a range extender 60 litre engine in front with same battery bed
Making it the perfect camping vehicle for off road
I wish this was in the US!
It won’t because of so much stigma it’s the big heads fear they would be eaten up for lunch because of good competition
100% tariff
I like the wheels! And that passenger screen is a really good idea as well.
So they have brought to production the concept of the Audi Activesphere concept! Niiceeee
SUV+UTE, bring it to Australia

Wading through hip deep water doesn't happen every day unless you live in the wrong part of England
England? Not every day? 🧐
Love your channel dude!
Looks nice and also practical
露營神車!!!
Ok, that looks sick!! I want it in sweden right now!
Esta E07 es mas practica, lujosa y con más estilo qué la Cibertruk, también mucho más barata qué la Tesla .
I thought I'd hate it. But I actually really dig it. It's just cool, and handy for carrying a bunch of stuff every now and then
Yus i want one
Chang-An, not Changan…
What a cool car!!!
Thanks for the video
I like China has so many different designs..all ameriklan cars look the same.
Never thought I'd see a modern iteration of the GMC Envoy XUV, but here we are lol
Maaaaan i like this!!!! So damn unique!❤️🔥
This is just what you get when you combine a modern ev with a Pontiac Aztek and a GMC Envoy XUV (and that's not a bad thing. Those two wierd SUVs had pretty handy quirks)
好有興趣買一架在中國內地用,因為可以放很多東西在車內,而且長安品牌較耐撞,感覺安全一點

It's very appealing to me, definitely
Amazing Car!
Wow! Looks great and that practility is interesting, I would love to see ir here in Mexico soon, they are selling some other models now
It’s like a cybertruck with all the edges rounded off lol
Reminds me of the GMC Envoy XUV I couldn't afford back in the days!!!
Sure wish I could buy a series hybrid AWD pickup truck with 4 wheel independent suspension in the USA! A solar bed cover would be a nice option, too.
i'm constantly surprised by the creativity of products in the chinese domestic car market... wish we could get similar designs here in US.
Isreal needs your money 😢

Please review yep plus 5 doors
its like australian holden ute truck but electric, nice
There are video they drove over 240Km/h, it is a cyber truck killer.
This is nothing like an Aussie Holden Ute, you're tripping.
What about the rain with the cargo cover opening in VERY SLOW MOTION?
For outdoor cooking, EV is the best energy source.
I lovee how with Chinese cars you have to discuss every scenario where it breaks where only one of them is considered as “bad luck” 😂😂
Yes I like it.
Wow the first sponser!
Charger and Cybertruck had a baby in china
CyberTruck looks like a toddler trying to draw their first vehicle 😂
It drives like a dream.
@@Dilgema21 because you have to be asleep to see it actually functioning?
I like it, interesting car
I like it.
The Chinese Pontiac Aztek … so dope.

I was hopeful for a midgate! Wish the frontier and maverick had that. Wished it had a spare tire.
I get an Aztec vibe, which I like.

Whow, NICE EV. Would love to see more in the EU.
Nice review there. Please can you do a review of the latest baw 212 please?
i like it because is "weird" 😅, not so ugly
That's a huge difference in aerodynamics compare to the Cybertruck
Hi buddy. Can you get your hands on a Zeekr 7X? I may buy this one when it releases in my RHD country and would like to hear your opinion on it.
They should have a AWD version and market it for the great outdoors.
There news for AWD (188kW+252kW) will be optional.

Thanks for the 2025 Ssangyong Actyon review ;P
IMHO this looks closer to that startled crown 'sedan' than the cyber truck.
Not quite like a Tesla Cybertruck but similar indeed 😊
I'd roll in it 👍, finally a pick up that doesn't scream : absolutely useless
cybertruck done right
Cybertruck done differently*

because EV can discard the AC port in time leave only the DC port instead. why you want to use AC charge when DC charger is everywhere.
better than a tesla cyber coffin
Finally a car in which I can get *all* my groceries wet.
This is giving Pontic azatek... but... in good way???
No plug for the fpc?
I have been remiss in promoting the FPC recently, but I will fix that in our next video!
american had no change to drive this vehicle because Chinese not selling any EV to US
