I was using a wireless HDMI "cable" since before I moved into my house in 2017. This is kind of old news.

Thanks for watching. I just had a look at your channel. Good luck with your TH-cam journey. $89 for the TX and RX + 500 ft transmission range is a good thing for creators on a budget

Looks like it could be used to pull focus on smaller productions, woukd you agree? Latency looks barely existent

Shimbol are reporting latency at 80ms. There is a bit of lag. I'll have more info in an upcoming video - thanks for watching as I really appreciate it

Have you noticed any interference with you wireless mike system and this transmitter?

I’m working on a more in depth review. I have a few wireless mic systems - this could become interesting. Thanks for this great question. I’m guessing they will work fine as most mics are 2.4GHz and the TP Mini is on 5GHz

@@cre8r61 I found their minimal tech page. Apparently, these are on 5 GHz, and most of the wireless mics are 2.4. But I have the same set you have, so I'm interested in your experience. I purchased the HDMI set when I got the notification they were available, but haven't opened them up.

Can you like the dummy battery you are using for the transmitter?

Hi there and thanks for your question. I use the NPF 550 battery as it is small. The transmitter and receiver only draw

How come you only get the receiver in the box? My camera does not have a built-in transmitter. Is there a link for the transmiter?

Dang, I'm sorry to hear that they only include the receiver. Thank you for the reply tho. I know there are other brands that include both the transmitter and receiver but they cost more than $89, so not really a great deal. @@cre8r61

I would like to provide some constructive criticism for this video that I randomly stumbled upon.
    - All we learned is the price, that the device "just works!" and "doesn't require an app!" (multiple times); not even some basic specs, like max resolution, framerate, latency.
    - One spec was mentioned, the operating distance, but when stated did not have an asterisk saying something along the lines of "theoretical maximum in a vacuum", as I'm sure that's not the real world operating distance.
    - No YT indicator that this video is sponsored (the device provided for free).
Overall, this just felt like an ad, as opposed to an unbiased "unboxing/quick review".
