These have been around for a couple years, but they weren't as easy to use when they first came out. They've come a long way.
I'm surprised you didn't try and use a latency monitor of some kind. Products like these tend to add alot of latency
Right, whether it works isnt the issue.
Yeah I'm fairly certain there is some bad latency and it's the reason I haven't crossed over. If it's minimal I suppose I would
Errr no there’s almost no latency as people already tested the latency like 2 years ago…
@shiion6711 what are you on mate? 🤣🤣
@@shiion6711 what is the number? i've seen people game on TVs without game mode on 80ms delay and say "its fine", i´m a PC gamer used to play on 6-8ms input lag total, anything above 20ms is unplayable for me.
I have way too many TV's in my house I cannot afford $119 USD just for ONE set of these. And the Amazon reviews state that the transmitters randomly stop working. This video SHOULD highlight the good and the bad about these. Making it seem like wireless HDMI is the future when people spend so much on these and they stop working..... That's not a cost most are willing to make. These HDMI wireless receivers are NOT reliable. Please make a video to add to this one to clarify. The Amazon reviews speak for themselves.
You are right, although the technology is great this device would only work if you game console / streaming console or PC are basically in the same room as your tv otherwise how would you be able to control your xbox/PC from a different room or floor. It would also be useful to try and have the tv in a different room or different floor in the house and see how reliable it is, but again you will need some something to transmit your controller signal at the same time. I think it is a premium price just to avoid having your console under your tv. There are other devices that can also transmit USB signal so those could be useful for PCs if the wifi connection is reliable over some kind of distance.
to be fair, don't you get two?
@@noblesseoblige319 bruh.. you'll need both just to attach one display, other one will attach to the pc or the console.
One on the monitor/tv other on the pc/console.
Got it?
@@yasirrakhurrafat1142 no, not at all what I mean.
You need one transmitter and one receiver.
The pack comes with TWO receivers. Your pc being able to project to two different tvs.
Or... At least that's what the link WAS going to. It was going to a pack from that company with two two receivers and one transmitter. If you go to that company's store on Amazon, however, they don't actually have that pack marketed there. You had to search manually for it. The one they did advertise was what the video showed: one of each. But the link was to the pack.
But both yesterday and today the link goes to the non-pack one. I have literally no idea why the seller altered the product, but they did for some reason (the old one is still in my Amazon cart, because I thought I misremembered or somethin. But nope. It's the same link, but if you didn't buy or put the pack in your cart when it was there, you can only get the non pack version).
I can see this being useful if you're console is upstairs and you don't want to keep moving it downstairs to a better TV
Wireless controllers don't work that far away and aren't meant to work properly through walls and floors.. This is intended for devices that are in the same room, so you don't need the wire. You wouldn't leave your cellphone upstairs to play music downstairs on a bluetooth stereo, you'd bring your phone with you. Same idea, different concept.
I've never seen so many wires for something that's wireless.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The tech has been around for a while. I’ve actually used a 4k version to receive picture to a switcher.
Link pls
How was the 4k one?
As much as I love the concept, when I see the price of these things, it's going to be cable all the way.
Thank you for sharing, Bmoste’s Black Friday sale is underway! The lowest price of the year! Enjoy the convenience of wireless life now!
Now us aliens only need wireless electricity around the home!
There you go that's an idea haha
Solar is considered wireless electricity XD
Bought this a couple days ago because of your video and even used your affiliate link. Hooked it up to my PS5 and it is giving nothing but lag and glitchy gameplay. Any solutions? I really want this to work! Thanks in advance.
I mean a wired solution will always be more stable and faster. Just like in charging. You can charge wireless but it's much faster to charge wired.
So no solution lol. Good thing I returned this already@@somebody69747
not suitable for hgames
Set the console to 1080p? Without using it at all…My guess if it’s set to output 4k it may let you see and hear, but the hardware probably can’t transmit that much bandwidth, or your isp, routor etc. Theoretically wouldn’t it be pulling bandwidth twice as much. Also I wonder if the picture quality varies with speed or it’s like max output the whole time.
Clearly it isn't meant for gaming. It's probably only meant for a computer, to watch movies and tv shows.
I have gotten the Nyrius Aries pro in 2019 and it was over 200 usd. I still have it and it works great still. I may think about getting something like this soon much cheaper and easier to transport
RGBlink Ask Nano wireless HDMI transimtter and Receiver is cool and affordable price $101.9 , available in AMZN
we had video senders in the 80s so if these have just come out they was a long time
nice. Of course my first two questions are
1: Does it lag and
2: What is the range you can put between transmitter and receiver?
With luck this could indeed be a game changer. I don't like that it takes up a USB port, but we'll see if that's negotiable or not when compared to the advantages it gives.
1. Compared with wireless screencasting through screencast, this solution definitely has lower latency and can even achieve real-time transmission. 2. The brand now has several devices with marked transmission distances ranging from 98ft to 820ft. It also has two options: 1080P 60HZ and 4K 30HZ.
@@carlylechen5505 DAMN!! 820ft? That'll definitely cover your average house with more than a little room to spare. Thanks for the info.
Please note that according to them, passing through walls will attenuate the signal transmission distance. I purchased their 4K option on Amazon and no issues so far.@@deadlyraver4454
820 ft. doesn’t account going through walls.
this is a good idea if your planning on installing a flip down monitor in your vehicle...no need to run a hdmi cable inside your vehicle.
There are literally more wires then before.
Although this wouldn't work for competitive gaming or maybe even fps it's still great for some casual gaming
agreed
Most gamers enjoy a multi screen set up and not all USB's on all TVs charge HDMI devices. I learnt that with the Google Chrome issues I had a few years ago.
Yes, you're right. Our device requires only 5v 1a to power
Does this work with HDMI ARC? Does it send the audio back to the AVR?
Does it turn the AVR on and off when the TV is turned on and off?
Does it allow control of AVR sound using your TV remote?
Would love to know this as well.
Same. I highly doubt it
2:29 nice way to say mum and dad.
Can you use more than one receiver for the same transmitter? I have a security NVR I want to send to multiple TVs throughout my house.
This is meant for devices in the same room, not devices all over your house.
I don't see it being an advantage. Yeah you can leave the wireless one in the tv and change out the other end to any system or device, but you can do the same with a wired one with less latency and no USB. I DO hate wires, but untile latency is PROVEN to be a non-factor (especially with 4K and up) I'll have to stick with wires
Wireless HDMI HAS been here.... I've been deploying solutions like this for a number of reasons for ages. IOGear makes a number of excellent wireless HDMI products that I've been using since 2015.
With that said wired will always be superior and you'll never convince me otherwise. This will work but it wouldn't really push the limits of my NZ7.
Agreed. I've tested several in the past but had crappy results. I'm not trying to convince you otherwise. Cables are $5-$20...this is 5x that. Eventually prices will come down though and then it could have more of an impact.
I'd rather have the wire than deal with the latency over wireless. Latency is fine when it comes to internet, but even that is practically non existent compared to latency from bluetooth and other wireless devices. I like to hit play and have it start playing instantly on the other end. If I'm playing music I don't want to wait even a second for the music to kick in after I've hit play. And this has to do video and audio, so the latency will be worse.
If people using a fire tv stick to watch tv I could see where these could be an issue because you would be fighting for the usb port on the tv. Also if you had multiple hdmi devices hooked to one tv you would need a usb splitter in order to power up multiple of these. If they could come up with a way where these wireless HDMI transmitters could be powered directly by the HDMI ports making them truly wireless I would be more apt to buy them
if they have a HDMI 2.1 version would nice so you can use it on PS5 and still get the 4K 120FPS HDR
sounds like there's a heavy delay between inputs and display click click click than kick
That's what I'm afraid too... Wireless stuff always has worse delay/latency, ALWAYS.
I watched the video again in 0.5x speed, and it is clear that there is huge delay between he pressing something on the controller and the player character actually move on screen. Since I don't play that game, I don't know if that is how the game works... Or the wireless HDMI has that much of a delay (which is almost unusable for fast paced game like helldivers or COD or alike).
why are we still using hdmi cables because its hell of alot cheaper than using wireless hdmi which is priced at abit over 100 american dollars.good vid m8t i would wait till it comes down in price.
Amazon listing states 0.1 seconds of latency, aka 100 milliseconds, thats alot for gaming.
How many times does he say “I’m going to go ahead and” ? Just say “I’m going to” 😂
The main reason why I would want something like this is to make 3DS and Wii U emulation on a steam deck a better experience since you can split the top screen and bottom screen on those emulators and having to use a wire to display to keep that working is kind of irritating
The vices should have this technology and featured built into them, so we wouldn’t even have to use a external device that we have to purchase
Looks like for every system (PS, DVD, etc.) one need a receiver and transmitter and with each, an HDMI port available in the TV.
Now goes the question: Is the signal the same? If it is, then only one receiver on the TV and the rest of the devices with their respective transmitters.
If not, please test this: On one TV port an HDMI switcher full of receivers. That HAS to work.
so now you need 2 ports 1 for the adapter and 1 for the power from your computer this is usless and takes a a port you might need but now you lose your port i guess its better then rechageable units that would cause alot of ewaste but other wise i think iam going to stick with a cable that i never have to replace and i keep my ports free for what i need them for ..
Wireless HDMI products have existed for over 10 years already. They weren't perfect, but we used one for many years.
I’m fine with cables
Now they need a wireless power cord
what is the max distance range from HDMI to HDMI in feet.
The range for bluetooth is around 33 feet, and the range for wifi is about 150 feet. This is less through walls and floors, maybe one third. Assume the range is only within the confines of a single room.
how much do these cost,Could do with these on both my Computers and all my games consoles as well
120 bucks on Amazon
I've been using wireless HDMI for over 5 years now. The one I had even had a built in IR repeater and USB port for controlling a PC
As for multiple devices, That's where an External HDMI Switch come in handy. Some even have a HDMI Port on the front.
Still limited to the tv requirements like if you have 2 HDMI ports you can only use 2 HDMI wireless receiver but i love that idea to be completely wireless depending on how much it cost
Thank you for testing😀
Now I can put my pc to my store room, and my monitor to my bedroom, to have more space.
Say goodbye to cables yet it comes with lots of cables
If you don't understand why we still use cables then you just don't understand physics enough. Wires keep information well encapsulated an insulated from interference and eavesdropping. If you want to see what I mean... plug up 3 or 4 of these devices in the same house along with Wifi, 4 or 5 bluetooth devices and 3 to 4 nearby wifi networks in range. Air is just like a wire and it has "bandwidth limits" based on the technology being used. And just like 500 people in a room on loud speakers... You will find out pretty fast why "wires" are still necessary.
Only catch is transferring the transmission device to other devices is a big no for me as it not convenient enough unless you have a wireless remote control to switch between devices on the fly without having to remove it this would be more ideal reducing the risk of breaking the hdmi port and usb c port. That my honest opinion
I prefer a hdmi 2.1 switch with a remote control. Is much better than switching that stick from device to device
this is good but if you are playing FPS game you might want to use regular HDMI or Display Port due to no input lag but this product is cool.
This is a great new gadget, but the 100mSec latency will be noticeable in FPS titles. The fact that there was no screen tear or hiccups in your demo is promising tho.
I have to wonder if a WiFi 6E version (if there is such a device) plugged into a HDMI 2.1 capable console and 4K/120Hz gaming monitor would have less latency...
Nowadays computer display manufactures should already have this built in, and should use the Bluetooth connectivity, I work from home and I use 3 monitors, so this will not work for me. Good vid though.
No lag whatsoever! Even if the cable is too long, it adds latency to games. I wonder how well it'd perform some distance away.
Not true
@@MaximusTheChosenOne it's true, physics is physics
@@jimmyryan5880 yes. cable adds like 0,00000000000001 ms more if its longer.
It’s definitely not doing 4k@120FPS so I guess I gotta stay wired
Brilliant!!! So you get rid of one cable and replace it with 2 - the extender to the usb cables.
That's what I call real genius. Yet again, another product that solves a problem nobody has ever had. 🤣🤣
I thought the point was to have less cables & Yet you have a cable for each device lmao 🤣 😂
too bad you couldn't use multiple transmitters with one receiver and use a remote to switch between them. If you have 3 or 4 HDMI devices, you would need to buy a set for each, and I doubt they would all fit due to the size. And where would you find 3 or 4 usb ports for each receiver? It's a good start, but it needs these features to be the best.
Now spies can just recieve your video signal. Brilliant. As if parallel sandbox monitoring wasn't easy enough to bypass any type of encryption or password.
In the future i feel like consoles and other devices will get rid of HDMI and be wireless
Will Roku use this at some point? This is cool 🙂
Just wow the only thing I see wrong with this since it’s wireless using it might interfere by other devices in the house. And break the signal maybe I’m wrong .
well yea cable connections are better than wireless connections see in you dont play shooters or fighting games we that do i need all the advantage i can go against your friends in few halo matches or tekken 8 or street fighter 6 matches online . do it who will come out on top the guy that is wired just like how i use my xbox controller hard wired cause the controller has 3 modes with batteries without batteries or just hard usb wired . shock not many people know about that with the xbox controllers you able too do that with the 360 wireless if you had the play and charge kit it works without batteries
well hopefully for tight spaces an L hdmi adapter can be used since the those seem pretty long
Curious if you have more than one of these connected at home, same display or separate displays within the transmitting and receiving range if there’s going to be any signal distortion or connection issues…
amazon has a bunch of reviews saying for movies it gets super hot and lags a lot.
Yeah, but not all consoles have a usb port to power the thing. What then? I would love to use it on my Apple TV. Oops, no usb! lol
cool concept but I'll wait a while until it becomes more compact. I don't want this bulky thing eyesore sticking out of my laptop.
Interesting, but it will cost about 120 dollars for each HDMI cable I would be replacing with this gadget, unless I unplug the receiver and transmitter each time I want to use a different device, which makes no sense. Also, there's the possible lag as has been reported here, so that's ok I will stay with my HDMI cables.
RGBlink 4K Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver Kit, One Transmitter and Two Receivers , Wireless USB Transmitter and Receiver kit , supports PC and mobile Phones for Meetings Live Broadcasts , Affordable price in Amz now!
And for your phone to tv works too??
best for projectors!
Hope it supports ARC for audio
Sorry, our devices currently do not support ARC, and we will work hard to develop and add this feature.
The price could be different from country to country. But over here, the price is still too expensive. This thing cost more than FORTY TIMES of a 15 meter HDMI cable cost.
While it's handy and convenient and nice to have, the price to cost ratio is simply not worth it for me. Too bad really, since I have been waiting for this (wireless HDMI) for a long time too.
that's awesome... thanks for the review... 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for watching!
I really don't like the fact that it cost too much I don't think it's worth
true.
It’s Ike when 4K tv’s first came out, they were really expensive now they’re sorta affordable.
So we should wait another 10yrs before these hdmi wireless adapters become affordable, but by then everyone is gonna be gaming on goggles (vision pro madness or worse, it’s built into your skull😅👀)
@@-someone-. Well I disagree that u need that what you're saying because I looked at the price it's too expensive it's not affordable you're crazy go to buy 10 of those go dam bank to zero see if I can which I don't loser
I don't think it's replacing cables just yet but I think it eventually will. Prices will come down in time and then this could have a bigger impact. You're absolutely right...I don't see anybody buying 10 of them. It's more of a 1 unit purchase for one tv that you use different devices with often. I have it on my tv in my game room and it's great. I wouldn't put it everywhere in my house. That wouldn't make sense or be cost effective.
@@NewAgeHeros I don’t think you understood my comment. I was agreeing with you lol.
TV's and future devices should have this built in from now on. Unless their is the slightest bit of lag. If no lag, GAME CHANGER!
wireless hdmi!?? of course they are over $100,, and this could help eliminate ALLL my hdmi cables to my tv using the cable box, dvd player, and all 3 of my xbox consoles,, original xbox, xbox 360 and xbox one x!!
if it did CEC that would be great
Hi as I don't use games can i use just the tv device only to watch tv please
🤔 For a game console I can see this being overkill since consoles I have are stored right at the tv. But I have a gaming laptop that I have to use a 25ft hdmi cable if I want to cast to my tv. I've used the windows "cast" and samsung's "east connection" programs, but there is too much delay in the games. I am curious if this will work without noticeable delay. 😎
I have two questions. I do presentations using my laptop to a digital projector. Sometimes a projector is 100 ft away. Do you know what the distance the signal will be sent from transmitter to receiver? Finally, with this device work on say a DirecTV box where we normally have to use HDMI to our TV? Thanks
If there is no obstruction in the environment, the device claims that the transmission distance can reach 98 feet, but I still recommend that you use the equipment in his store with longer distances, which generally can get a more stable experience.
Nice ! but I will stick to Cables. No Set up, No extra power, No Lag and 100% reliable.
At that price its a no for me guess its still fairly new so lets wait till more people make these so we dont get ripped off due to greed
There is a resolution downgrade from 1440p to 1080p; that's not huge, but it's worth mentioning. 1080p is XBOX 360 territory.
And what good is that to me as a PC gamer? My monitor is connected to a HDMI port on my GPU with a HDMI cable. My monitor doesn’t have a USB port, so a clunky ass contraption like that would be wasted on me.
The fact that one must charge or power the units makes is unpractible.
Something similar could be good for some Vr models.
So if my devices doesn't have us port it won't gonna work or usb cable is for audio?
I've been using wireless HDMI for nearly a decade......
I can't do 1080 though brah.
yeah, the price tag is 119.00 ill stick to cords
What is its range and is there a delay in the image?
at 120€ this connector costs almost as much as my 55‘ 4k tv
What’s the latency on it. That would be the major factor in if gamers buy this
Would have been nice if they didn't require USB connection.
This may have to wait until HDMI 2.1 becomes popular, after all, most current HDMI interfaces cannot provide stable power supply. This brand already has devices that simultaneously power and transmit HDMI signals through a USB C cable.
@@carlylechen5505 Thanks for the explanation, that great, because I use several devices that require HDMI connections, the wires become a nuisance, I'm sure the one you were talking is not far away.
it needs power for the transmitter and receiver
@@aaronlane8276 I understand that, but couldn't t be a rechargeable battery?

Sell there is an elephant in the room here, what about 4k and hdr, iIwould say limiting everything to 2080p 60 and sdr is in some cases kess than ideal. There is allso another concern, why poot even more wireless devises in an allready overcrowded band. All that said if ir works well for you great, and I might look into similar product when/if the 4k version comes out, but reliablt bushing 48Gbos over wireless might be tricky
Camera - to - big flat screen TV????? sadly no one does a full DETAILED test for people who live under rocks like me!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
If you look at the time he presses the button and the time the move comes out, there is considerable lag in that device, it’s not ready for prime time yet, don’t play call of duty with it a or any online game.
