Kerry park is one of the best views, but there are a couple spots in West Seattle that beat it especially at sunset. Along Alki Beach after it makes it turn toward the city is my favorite. The other one is on Admiral Way (Admiral Way Viewpoiont). This is is just a pullout on the side of the road, but it is high on a bluff (like Kerry Park). the problem that I have with Kerry Park is the view is nearly parallel to the city. The views from West Seattle are nearly perpendicual so you get the whole width. One downside is you don't get Mt. Rainier with it. But at sunset with the redish sun reflecting off the glass from the skyline - incredible...Also night views from both places are incredible. If you are skyline person, you must get to the westside in the early evening.
It's been years since I lived in Seattle..going back there soon, can't wait to see all the familiar places, experience the food and the fabulous vibe there 😊
I go to that Piroshky place every week! I think you covered some amazing things about this wonderful city - and I always have called it my home since I was born there. There are definitely a lot of neighborhoods, amazing transit options, and delicious cuisine spots to explore. Glad you had fun!

2 other Observation places are at the Columbia Tower & at the Smith Tower. Did you use the electric scooters or ebikes? (Lime bikes or VEO) I've been wanting to stop by Elliot books, thanks for showing it.
We'll have to check those out next time! We didn't use the scooters in Seattle, but we've used them before in other cities, I really like using them haha. They're fun and convenient
The glass that you were worried about and the revolving floor aren't original to the space needle, they were part of a 2018 renovation. As a Seattle light my favorite views of Seattle or from across the bay at alki or from a water tower in Volunteer Park

I had no idea that the Space Needle was built for the World’s Fair! Super fun you got to do all of the touristy things…including the monorail. 😂
